Ah, dude, you left out the best part of Dudley's new diet. Harry didn't follow it at all and kept eating birthday cake for breakfast and all the other snacks sent by the Weasleys and Grangers
The Weasley Twins throwing a snowball at Voldemort is the Harry Potter equivalent of Rachel Elizabeth Dare throwing a blue plastic hairbrush at Kronos in Percy Jackson.
Another funny aspect of number one was Harry’s reaction. He sent letters to his friends asking for help. Hermione sent a ton of sugar free stuff because her parents were dentists, Ron sent a ton of snacks and Errol was so exhausted afterwards that he had to stay a few days under Harry’s care to recover, and Harris sent rock cakes that Harry never touched. Then, on Harry’s birthday he got one amazing birthday cake each from Ron, Hermione, Hagrid, and Sirius
I always wondered why Harris sent a cake but Remus didn’t. I think it was in GoF but Sirius got him one but Remus didn’t. Like bruh, that’s your best friends son
6:34 There was a good reason why Bellatrix wasn't there in the Astronomy Tower: Voldemort didn't think Malfoy would succeed (in fact he kind of hoped Draco'd fail), so he only sent a squad of second-rate Death Eaters to back Draco up.
Also Lucius and Bellatrix were in the wanted list because of what they did last year in the ministry and they both were in hiding like Voldemort for one year.
@@Verebazs yes forgot about Lucius being caught. But bellatrix could only go to death eater hideouts as per Voldemort's command as she was too valuable for him. All other death eaters except Bellatrix are expendables according to Voldemort but not her as she was too valuable for the war.

I love that scene at the end of Order of the Phoenix when Harry breaks down in Dumbledore’s office. It’s a really raw scene and you can see the toll that everything going on has taken on him. After Sirius’s death, this was finally the breaking point and there’s some really powerful Dialogue. They toned down this segment completely in the films, maybe because thought it was too intense to show on screen.
Some of these things I’m not too upset about not having. Molly’s boggart scene is heartbreaking. Harry destroying Dumbledore’s office in heartbreaking anger is absolutely gut wrenching. Then Fred’s actual death scene where Percy screams for him and literally has to watch his little brother get killed! I barely can get through the scene where the Weasley’s are all sobbing over Fred in the movie but having Fred get killed right next to Percy and then Percy screams for his brother. It’s a very small but meaningful moment having Percy who at the time had mainly been cut off from his family and the Wesley twins especially just didn’t like him. But then Percy comes back right when the Battle of Hogwarts is going on and he apologizes to his family. Which put him next to Fred when he died and it’s gut wrenching. I can totally understand why they left that scene out but it is such a moving and powerful scene seeing that Percy is finally reunited but then immediately afterwards he loses his brother
4:56 Bagman actually tried to fob the twins off with Leprechaun gold, which disappeared a short while afterwards. The twins did pursue Bagman throughout Book 4, and he refused to pay them off by avoiding them as much as possible and claiming they were too young to gamble (which technically they were).

The movies made it seem like Grawp had been hidden in the Forbidden Forest the entire time also. The books are clear about Hagrid just finding out about him.

Dear Morgan Ross, As the Hufflepuff spokeswoman It is my job to tell you that us Hufflepuff’s are waiting for our turn on your ranking characters on one trait series. Despite one of our traits being patients. We are getting inpatient. Sincerely The hufflepuff spokeswoman Ps love your videos
one of my favourite book/game only things that movie didn't do, was the swamps weasley twins set out in hogwarts, and the fact that umbridge was unable to remove them, while flitwick was able to do it instantly..... after umbridge was removed
The way the other professors quietly rebelled against Umbridge's regime was priceless. McGonagall passing Peeves in a corridor as he was trying to loosen a light fixture, and telling him "it unscrews the other way" out of the side of her mouth. Or Flitwick sending for Umbridge to come remove a Weasley firework that had gotten into his classroom. "I could have dealt with it myself, of course, but I didn't know if I had the authority."
Thanks for another cool video! Can't remember if this was in the previous parts, but the first chapter of book 6 with the muggle prime minister would probably be mind-blowing to those that haven't read the books.
great video! but I just wanted to say that Scrimgeour was introuduced in the 5th book in the morning of Harry trial Lupin and Tonks say something about Scrimgeour.
Next time MovieFlame does another one of these videos, he could mention how the Ford Anglia started to break down before it even got to Hogwarts and that the journey to Hogwarts was very boring and not thrilling as Harry and Ron were not nearly hit by the train and Harry did not fall out of his seat and just barely got back in the car with Ron’s help.
Scrimgeour was properly introduced in book 6 but first mentioned already in book 5. Tonks talked about him asking strange questions to her and Kingsley. In this time he was the head of the aurors and followed Fudges Orders.
The brain scene is one of those moments I would've loved to see in the movies. I have quite a bit of aphantasia and books are literally just letters on a page to me and moments like the brain with Ron and the Fiendfyre in the Room of Requirements were things I literally couldn't imagine. It literally read to me as them going "oh no... there is fire... we have to get out of here... quick..."
Thank you movie flame for letting me reach out into reading the Harry Potter books as you always say there’s big differences thank you for being an amazing creator
I mean, it happened a fair amount. Consider the woman on trial when the trio broke into the ministry for the horcrux on umbridge's neck. She could prove her lineage but they weren't hearing it and just wanted to persecute her
@@toughluck8012it also went by how many generations down the family line. It’s all nonsense because squibs exist. That does make me think, what if Dudley’s kid got accepted to Hogwarts? Petunia would probably be secretly happy even if she wouldn’t tell Vernon. And if hope Dudley would be a better father than Vernon was
It doesn't matter, because Dean was still a halfblood. Death Eaters cared about blood purity above all else, and thus they tolerated halfbloods that fought for their side, but they were considered lower ranking than purebloods. If the Death Eaters had succeeded in conquering the Wizarding World they would've first eliminated muggleborns, then halfbloods.
8:32 There is actually another house elf that the movies left out. That would be Hokey, Hepzibah Smith's house elf. She appeared during the 6th book, we see her in one of Voldemort's Memory.
It's almost criminal that they didn't feature the chapters where sirius visits hogsmeade and where barty crouch sr shows up acting insane and then disappearing. It are probably my second and third favorite chapters of the fourth book, just missing out on the veritaserum chapter (which also was underutilized in the movie)

Awesome video as always, bro. I just want to say that it’s been a pleasure being a friend and that you’ve helped me when I was depressed or upset. So, thank you. Also, please make a Deadpool & Wolverine review video/breakdown.
I remember the intense curiosity when I finished reading the first three available books, wondering who the author was, when the fourth one would come out, and that I desperately needed to learn English to read it in its original language- which I did. Then, I started underlining every word that could give me a clue, having a notebook full of spells, characters, all classified, like what the now-defunct HP Lexicon would later do. I remember spending entire nights on Warner's forums, with people from all over the world discussing theories, and loving every second of those years when we knew nothing, when there was no merchandise. Thank you for these videos, Morgan! You bring back all those virtual friends. Thanks for your dedication, is fantastic work!
Absolute amazing video, love the amount of work and effort you put into it, Morgan. 10/10. I also wanted to say that this part was my favorite considering how I forgot some of them weren’t in the movies.

I was just telling my husband the differences in the books and the movies. The biggest one I brought up was the weasleys being Harry's family At the triwizard Tournament. It was so kind of them.
Can you please do a series of every difference between the hunger games books and movies. I loved when you did this series for Harry Potter and I thought it would be so cool
hey morgan. your content and knowledge about the HP universe is always making my day and i always can add a lot of detailed information from it. of course i try to catch up, but there is a long way to go because your knowledge seems just endless 😄 i keep rereading the books (which i prefer over the movies) and every time there are so many new things to discover that were easy to oversee when reading the first couple of times. and in combination with watching your videos it makes this process infinitely more exciting! BTW one additional fun fact about #25 that i remember from recent lecture: rufus scrimgeour was briefly mentioned already in the order of the phoenix. almost at the beginning of chapter 7 (the ministry of magic) lupin asks tonks about what he is up to in the ministry. apparently they were just talking about him when harry entered the kitchen at grimmauld place in the morning that he would have his hearing.
Love the vidoes. Just finishedbthe books for the first time! Here are some ideas for the next video.. 1. Fudge visiting the muggle prime minister. (This was a wild revelation to me) 2. The beginning of the Deathly Hallows book, Hermione doesn't obliviate her parents/Dudley and Harry have a "moment" before the Dursleys leave their home. 3. Use of the DA coins is how Neville and other DA members communicated after Snape/Voldemort took over Hogwarts

It was stated in _Prisoner of Azkaban_ that they had the easiest exam ever: keeping Flobberworms alive. The next year they took care of Blast-Ended Skrewts. A fully-grown one was in the maze and Harry also faced a sphinx. It didn't ask its titular riddle about a thing being a quadruped, biped then a tripod over time.
Yeah I remember Lee Jordan being in the first film and maybe the second, narrating the quidditch matches. I remember thinking when I first saw the movie I thought he was a girl because he had long dreads and a higher voice. He definitely could’ve been in it a lot more. Would’ve been cool to see his giant trachela or at least hang out with Fred and George since he’s like their only friend.
13:16 It is actually hinted in the PS2 Harry Potter HBP videogame. One time when you need to search for Draco'swhereabout, you only find 1 slytherin girl on an empty corridor which was probably one of the guys. I thought it is a kinda funny detail.

But I do not think Oliver would have helped Ron and encouraged him if Oliver was in Angelina's position given how Ron was playing. Angelina is an awesome side character.
Dear Morgan Ross,
As the Hufflepuff spokeswoman
It is my job to tell you that us Hufflepuff’s are waiting for our turn on your ranking characters on one trait series. Despite one of our traits being patients. We are getting inpatient.
Sincerely
The hufflepuff spokeswoman
Ps love your videos
Coming soon!
@@MovieFlame thank you! I’ve been waiting for so long!
i’ve seen almost all of your harry potter vids and i don’t hesitate when i see a new one

This is a super nitpick but it wasn’t McGonagall who called Harry to see his parents. It was Cedric
Technically it was McGonagall but when Harry didn't go right away then Cedric came back for him.
There was a throwaway line in order of the Phoenix, where it was said that scrimjore was asking Kingsley and Tonks questions
one of my favourite book/game only things that movie didn't do, was the swamps weasley twins set out in hogwarts, and the fact that umbridge was unable to remove them, while flitwick was able to do it instantly..... after umbridge was removed
And he kept a small part of the swamp.
Winky and the Brain Tank look so much like the chapter art, whatever AI he's using, it's good at it's job.
great video! but I just wanted to say that Scrimgeour was introuduced in the 5th book in the morning of Harry trial Lupin and Tonks say something about Scrimgeour.
Hi morgan your content makes me so happy i look forward to each and every one of your videos 😊
Cho in the Gryffindor uniform 😂 I know it's a good AI otherwise but still funny.
Next time MovieFlame does another one of these videos, he could mention how the Ford Anglia started to break down before it even got to Hogwarts and that the journey to Hogwarts was very boring and not thrilling as Harry and Ron were not nearly hit by the train and Harry did not fall out of his seat and just barely got back in the car with Ron’s help.
loving this series!
Scrimgeour was properly introduced in book 6 but first mentioned already in book 5. Tonks talked about him asking strange questions to her and Kingsley. In this time he was the head of the aurors and followed Fudges Orders.
Yess MovieFlame posted again!!! I Definitely learned something
"There was one house elf that movie fans never met" bro what about Hokey?
Hokey😂 i completely forgot but now i remember
Thank you!
The elf from the horcrux memory?
The brain scene is one of those moments I would've loved to see in the movies. I have quite a bit of aphantasia and books are literally just letters on a page to me and moments like the brain with Ron and the Fiendfyre in the Room of Requirements were things I literally couldn't imagine. It literally read to me as them going "oh no... there is fire... we have to get out of here... quick..."
16:31 why is that such a sassy photo of Harry 😂😂😂
Thank you movie flame for letting me reach out into reading the Harry Potter books as you always say there’s big differences thank you for being an amazing creator
Imagine the death eaters being like “haw, we captured another Muggle-born!”… only to find out that Dean isn’t actually a Muggle-born.
Yeah, you’re all right, I guess the Death Eaters wouldn’t care as long as Dean had _some_ Muggle blood in him. It shows just how evil they are.
@@tgiacin435, I once wrote a fanfic about Dudley marrying Fleur’s little sister, and having magical children.

There is actually another house elf that the movies left out. That would be Hokey, Hepzibah Smith's house elf. She appeared during the 6th book, we see her in one of Voldemort's Memory.
Wasn’t it Hokey’s memory, collected by Dumbledore?
@@SuziQ. Yes, you're right, my bad
@@santi9099 , To be fair, Voldemort was in Hokey’s memory, and I re-read the series three times in 2020.
This series, as well as the Hunger Games verson, is my favorite series thus far on the channel ❤️
longtime viewer, first time commenter. morgan you look really happy. just had to mention it, really stoked for you dude! always thankful for another vid
Just one thing it wasn't Professor Mcgonagall who told Harry that his family were waiting, it was Cerdic. 11:49
as soon as i got a notification that MovieFlame made a new HP vid i clikced on it automaticlly
One of the Patil Twins actresses (or both) mentioned that the casting people wanted to hire non twin actors/actresses for the roles.
I love your videos Harry and Ginny are my favorite couple but the movies did them dirty
I didn't understand how much the movies had left out. 30 details each in 4 parts already. 120 details and yet there's more. It's astonishing!
I cant be the only movie watcher that knows most of these because of Morgan.
You knew exactly what you were thinking with that wording 😂😂😂
Barty Crouch's demise is rathe poetic considering the fact that his son did have a bone to pick with his father
Awesome video as always, bro. I just want to say that it’s been a pleasure being a friend and that you’ve helped me when I was depressed or upset. So, thank you. Also, please make a Deadpool & Wolverine review video/breakdown.
#18: That was actually Cedric who came out and told Harry his family was waiting after McGonagall. Great moment.
Been waiting for another of these!
Me too!
I haven’t watched or read any Harry Potter in months and I completely forgot almost half of my knowledge 😭
16:20 he’s also a vampire according to Luna
Harry only won 1 quidich cup. Year 5 he was banded from the team by umbridge, year 6 he was benched by snape because of his attack on Draco.
He still played in both seasons and helped them secure the cup. Especially in his sixth year being the captain and putting the entire team together.
@@MovieFlame in year 6 he lost half of the games he played and in year 5 he only played in 1 game. Ron and ginny did way more in those years.
Thanks for your dedication, is fantastic work!
love these videos! thanks for another entertaining and fun video!
16:29 he also roasted the shit out of Scrimgor 😂
Harry with a 7-2 Quidditch record, puts him at a .777 win percentage
That had to be on purpose-the number 7 occurs practically everywhere in the Wizarding World.
Yess more of the book cannon, that the movies cut I love that even though I’ve never watched all the movies
i read the series around 800 times in total and still clicked the video cuz his videos are too good
keep it up morgan the grind bever stops
hey morgan! make a video.. similar to boggart and mirror of erased. do a patronus.
edit: thx for 5 likes!
pls reply the only way i know u saw this comment is by that.
Absolute amazing video, love the amount of work and effort you put into it, Morgan. 10/10. I also wanted to say that this part was my favorite considering how I forgot some of them weren’t in the movies.
They did show Lee Jordan..he was announcer of one of the quidditch games
Idk why but these videos are so relaxing. Please keep them coming. Harry potter, hunger games specifically
OMGGG THANK YOU BEEN WAITING FOR ANOTHER ONE AND IT CAME AT A PERFECT TIME GOT AN 8hour CAR TRIP‼️‼️
Amazing hat you have there, Morgan. Keep up the good work and make us happy. 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
My sister and me read the books all the time! When we finish them, we start again. She reads to me out loud while I paint. We read them slowly and comment on every single word. Yet, we still watch these videos ❤ Morgan Ross is a household name in our family! With the help of his knowledge we won countless Harry Potter trivia quizzes! Thank you, movie flame ❤❤
5:34 the best roast ever
Quick, get up! Morgan posted!!!!
Edit: love the vid
Love these types of videos so much
I’ve always thought that too. About the “snowballs. And actually they bewitched it repeatedly hit him in the back of the head. lol 😂😂😂
Love the vidoes. Just finishedbthe books for the first time! Here are some ideas for the next video..
1. Fudge visiting the muggle prime minister. (This was a wild revelation to me)
Hi Movie Flame! I’m a big fan of you and your Harry Potter Content, I’m a huge Harry Potter fan and it would be cool if you did a life of video of Albus Dumbledore.
There is an origin story about him and Grindelwald if you search the MovieFlame channel.
Other things you left out:
-Harry beat Voldemort in front of everyone
-Augusta Longbottom chose Neville’s wand
-Draco’s Dark Mark
-Tonks worked at Hogwarts as an auror
-We meet Mundungus Fletcher in The Order of The Phoenix
Most of the care of natural creatures lessons were cut out, which were really fun in the books

Hey Morgan are you still gonna do a video about ranking Hufflepuffs?
Yes
Let's goo!!!
Yay can't wait. 😁
Can’t wait!
Smith is definitely at the bottom
