The problem with this channel is that Garen is learning while he’s teaching. Not normally a huge deal but he’s going at it the wrong way. Instead of “here’s what I tried, here are my lessons learned” he is presenting the content as though he has a proven method. Years from now he could look back and decide that x y or z method is actually not great for meeting new people, yet he is teaching them as useful here. It’s apparent that he’s trying to grow a user base to ultimately sell us something, courses or what have you, which again is not a wrong thing to do; I am simply recommending to take everything he says with a grain of salt as he doesn’t yet have the experience necessary to back up his claims. My 2 cents.

How did this dude make 15k in youtube in a month? He doesnt have nearly enough views to make anything close to that in his last 5 videos
That RUclips money hit different... but seriously, he has a video from like 2/3 years ago called something like “how i learned to trade stocks in a week”. It’s one of the first videos that pops up when these new investors search up how to trade stocks. It has well over a mill views which leads people to his other long videos that have ads. Long story short Zoom stock and this guy unintentionally benefited like crazy from people being stuck at home for 2+ months
Run away from this guy. His stock video had a lot of views because people were making fun of it. This guy won't be able to get around his own ego to make any money.
It might be his sponsored links. He has a lot of them.

Well there are other aspects of life as well which are pretty important as well. One just can't always be trading etc.
What’s up with the ever changing color in this video?
lmao I noticed the same thing. I thought my monitor was fucking up. You see it at 5:12 when the B roll changes color. Personally I'm not a fan of his color grading. It's a weird instagram filter type of vibe. Unless you actually know how to properly color grade just using some heavy stylized look is usually subpar.

You brush over an issue that clearly frustrates you and don't explain it, which makes it the most important part of the video; leaving the video with a hanging question.
Showing your finances and therefore it's biggest expense, $15k to the IRS, but not telling why and how that can or cannot be avoided is hard to end a video on. You talk about the benefits of using business expenses for tax breaks and then paying yourself but you're leaving us hanging with your biggest expense unexplained. You got a tax refund but still had to pay 15k separately?
Break that down yo, that seems like good info for us.

Anybody who has these youtube channels on finances all now make there money on youtube and then start preaching ways to quit your job and never working a 9-5. Its not a viable model to promote because majority of the income comes from an established youtube channel. Its doable but not viable for the majority.
Bruh, I explained in the video with house hacking. That’s they best way to quit your career, have someone else pay your rent

I mean 15k on youtube it's a pretty solid chunk of money you make x month, but for an average person without your exposure this Challenge would be waaaaaaay more difficult
