@@JRRsModelCars I always enjoy your video’s. I am enjoying your wrestling the new Salvino Camaro, it’s why I watch! What you have done so far is great, I cannot wait to get my hands on one 🙏🏻
The issue your having and i wish i had known to stop you before you put the firewall on is you have to cut out a small piece on each side of the silver piece so the firewall will fit. It's not warped, just needed that little bit of plastic cut off to make the firewall fit.
The next time I build one I will look into that. I do know many other builders have had warped parts in the Camaro kits at varying degrees of warpness.
Same here…I’m hoping the next one I do goes a little better. Was your firewall messed up as well? I’m pretty certain all of my issues stem from the firewall being split on the left side. Thank you for watching
@@JRRsModelCars my firewall was very warped and nothing fit flush to it. I think a lot of parts on this kit need some tweaking because there is no way things go together the way you would think they do and the instructions are really vague on how some parts go together. I built a lot of glue bridges to reach edges.. I have 2 roll cage bars left over because I have no idea where they go lol
So many parts rely on how square you get those front frame pieces put on. And how the hell do the front shocks go on? Mine didnt even reach the spindle and I just barely glued them to the frame slots lol! The rear suspension goes together a lot easier. The driveshaft is short so if you want it to go all the way you have to extend it but your never going to see it under the tunnel.
I’ll probably run into the same issue with the shocks as well, and I’m guessing I will only have three wheels hitting the ground when it’s all assembled.
@@Cin0s3, the tops of the shocks go in the space between the ears on the inside of the engine cage top rails and the bottom of the shock will fit into the slot on the back side of the steering hubs - bottom it out in the slot and it fits just right, and you'll have the wheels set where they are supposed to. Build the kit the way the steps say to and in the exact order, not how you normally build a kit! If something is too tight, ream the hole or scrape the groove, everything fits, but this kit doesn't allow for being sloppy. if you are worried about the ride height and all wheels sitting flat, then put shims between your table and brake rotors and make sure that everything is equal when you glue the last corner together - it is your shock placement that sets the ride height. I did not design a Model Factory Hero kit, but I didn't design a snap together kit either. If you need help, the number is on the web site and I'm ext. 2 - 8-5 central time, please.
Excellent work. Love that you are painting everything. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for watching!
Looking good
Thank you!
It's looking great, brother, those headers look fantastic! 😁✌
Thank you, I appreciate it!
Love the headers, I will try the Tamiya clears as I have always been disappointed with my previous attempts. 🙏🏻
Thank you, I appreciate it. After thinking about it, I probably should make a header painting video and explain how I do it. Thanks for watching!

It’s been a challenge at times…it is a good kit though with plenty of detail. I’m hoping the rest goes smooth.
I wish you would have shown putting the belts / pulleys on
👍👍👍
Thank you!

@@JRRsModelCars Great work from step one to finish
Thank you, I appreciate it!
My frame is a complete glue bomb because nothing fit "perfectly" and I really had to force it in place and glue it down.

5:36 - SHUT UP COMPRESSOR!
I’m spoiled because my compressor has a tank, so when it starts up it’s annoying haha
