JTAC was released as 2 CD singles. The other being in a white cover.
Plus Fastlove had a 12” single too.
I hear the reissue will have a Dolby Atmos mix 😊

I feel so fortunate, I have all of the CD singles from the older album. I can’t wait to get my hands on the older anniversary edition coming out in June

Thanks for doing this. The internet was new back then and I wasn't aware of the deluxe box. I'm not sure I ever knew Older was a single. I always thought The Strangest Thing" was a single, not You Have Been Loved, but we never got those released in Canada. I have two on non-digipak the Fastlove/I'm Your Man 96' and Star People which has the remixes.

Interesting recap of one of the last great pre-Napster albums - thank you. That “Princess Diana” mix of “You Have Been Loved” sounds excruciating, however.

A rather strange thing - possibly of interest to a very few people so apologies - is the Spinning the Wheel Mixes CD contains the Forthright Edit of Fastlove, which wasn't on the original FL CD single, but then that Forthright edit was chosen to represent Fastlove on Now 35 as CD1 track 2 when it was released that November.
The Older singles were out of sync with Now comps from the getgo - Jesus to a Child appearing on summer's Now 34 rather than spring's Now 33, maybe because Older had not yet been released - so my guess is that including an obscure dance remix of a seven month old number one at the start of 35 was something of a compromise they made themselves, i.e. still including the older (pun unintended) single but having it in a version that is actually taken from the latest single. Sure enough, Spinning the Wheel was delayed until Now 36 in March 97 (although again bizarrely in its Forthright mix), but by July's Now 37 it was time for Star People (again, for the third time, in its Forthright mix) meaning Older got missed out entirely.

It's, Jesus TO a child, not Jesus AS a child :)
