I'm completely blown away by these @AND1CARDS kids!!! All those comps were spot on an he just rambled them off like normal conversation. We need more kids like these in this hobby.
Bro that kid was just throwing out random numbers like he didn’t even know how much some of the cards are worth he was just trying to sell them. Besides, it’s just a whole bunch of pointless shit anyways, I collect Pokémon cards but I see absolutely no value in sports cards lol
@@thanosbustedinyourmum I gotta ask? If collecting sports cards is pointless.. why are you wasting your time watching sports card videos! And they weren’t throwing numbers out! If you knew ANYTHING about the industry, you’d know there comps were spot on!
If I was a dealer... And someone handed me a stack of cards with prices on all of them.. and asked "how much for all of these? Can you do any better?" I'd say no... It's comical how the price on the card is basically irrelevant
Agree! As a dealer myself, it’s getting frustrating. I price at the comp level, and am still getting asked to take a percentage off or leave meat on the bone. What the buyer does with the cards after they purchase is not something we as dealers should play a part in
I skip all tables that can’t take the time to price their stuff. I’m not at a show to ask every price and then it changes anyways when you show interest.
It looks like it's a small family business with the kids being really involved in it. I say this because he asked his youngest if they listed a card and he said no. So they both probably know a good amount when it comes to buying and selling sports cards. So his dad most likely trusts the oldest to do a lot of the deals, which is nice to see.
Ebay auction price is killing the sports cards market, cause we all know it's cheaper, this hurts the market very bad.. i wouldn't sell anyone a card that shows me the last card sold for $50 on a bid, I would tell you show me that last buy now price then ill sell it.. if you show me the auction price theres no deal.. too many underbidders and it hurts the value of the card with these auctions that sells for cheap.. I rather keep the card someone else will buy it!!💀💀💀
Is eBay cheap, or is your local market overpriced? Yes, if stuff in your area sells for more than eBay, sell it there. No need to justify it. However, it is a verifiable method of checking the current market, regardless of personal feelings. What I don't understand is the opposite, what is to prevent someone from making false purchases from themselves on eBay to drive the price up?
So basically you only accept comps that support your narrative. If something sells at auction for a price less than you agree with than you clearly miss the entire point of an auction. You wouldn't sell to me, and I wouldn't buy from you. Have a nice day.
@@dustin66896 i dont need you to buy anything from me.. i sell them regardless at the right price.. if the card is selling for $300 and someone bids on that same card for like $100 there's no chance im selling it for that price.. i have my garage filled with sports cards people come and go and i sell at 30% thats better than most that sell at 20%.. Bids hurt the business and everyone knows it!!
Plainfield was packed out I set up there Sunday , they just keep having it every 2 weeks and it muddies the waters , I think once a month is better, that’s Plainfield I mean..
some dont like selling the whole showcase or lot to one purchaser cause it usually implies a discount. If they think the cards are liquid enough they can sell/trade the cards indivdually or in smaller lots and get more money/value.
Based on that guys body language he couldn’t wait to sell everything which a lot of people are doing now just to get out of the hobby as they are trying to salvage any money they invested into cards and lost their shirts.
@@carolinatarheels7903 I mean this dude really did just walk around and spend $6000 on a bunch of nothing. None of those cards are Grales. They are just random cards even was buying PSA eight just spending money to spend it.

The kids dad was a cool guy to let him deal like that…..sure, they may have been the kids cards, but that’s not the vibe I got.

I really really enjoyed this video. The hobby is good.❤🎉
Next time show each card on camera hard to tell what cards you pick up.
Agreed. Or at least a quick caption of what it was or snapshot, etc.
Hey I just subbed! What is that app you’ll are using for checking prices on cards?

What card case were you using

That kid can sell anything
Not the best show. Lot of empty tables and dealers with a lot of the same cards

No doubt, they could have let them play a half court game of basketball and not disturbed one table.
Where is this at? I live in Louisville.
Save your money.......
Why ask a seller if they're willing to sell all their cards, I'm pretty sure that's the goal 😂
You’d be surprised lol
