I don’t think I have ever seen a negotiation where the seller never said a player/card name. This guy just must have been a straight gambler ripping boxes and getting in breaks. Seemed like he knew very little about what he had. That in combination with 125k in retail pokemon baffles me.

125k in retail Pokemon. Doesn't sound like you know what your talking about either. There is only one kind of Pokemon. Thankfully. I would hate to see Pokemon become like sports cards where you have cards for the rich (hobby) and junk for the poor (retail).

@@buffalobill9793Retail pokemon is just a word used do describe the typical stuff you find in WalMarts and Targets. Sorry to offend you with the way I worded it. seller doesnt seem to know anything about cards. he also seems to forget that a deal like this the buyer has to make money, takes all the risk and time and effort to sell the cards

Nice bought the sports cards for 23,000 and easily gonna make over 100,000 with all those auctions not to mention getting ebay prices at his store. In my opinion you ripped that guy off 35,000 was a fair deal.

That whole sentimental thing and not realizing you guys need to make a profit. If the cards worth 5 bucks you aren't gonna pay him $5 for the card you're gonna offer him like 3

He is trying to value the cards at the highest even if they were Graded, but they're not. Not every card is worth grading It costs money to grade and sell the cards after.

I think overall, the deal that CardsHQ offered was fair. $35,000 is just too high. It's a dog eat dog world, and they have a business to run.
