Jason Mc You are correct. In GibbsCAM, the linking moves use a setting called "High Feedrate" under the "Repositioning Parameters". This value for the part I used in the video defaults at 500 while the programmed feedrate defaults at 300. When the Repositioning Parameter is calculated by pressing the Feedrate button the High Feedrate calculates to twice the programmed feedrate. Personally, I always programmed the linking feedrate to my machine's rapid. But again, you are correct that GibbsCAM pulls that feedrate from a different parameter.
It would be interesting if the Volumill tool path had two colors - orange for cut and some other color for rapid. I've just learned to trust Volumill. It's far faster programming and machining.

Thanks Ryan! We're excited too! :)
Ryan, we're aiming for once a week! Check back on Tuesday :)
It does not use Rapid to reposition on every move as you state, it uses the repositioning parameters "high feed rate" for most moves between cuts.
