Here I go giving human emotions to these birds again, but i think that Jackie looks very sad. It kind of reminds me of the time when she had given up on the eggs hatching and Shadow wouldn't give up. He just keeps on tending to the nest. Tonight he showed he has some decorative skills with multicolored fluff. Thanks for another touching video, Cali.
Animals can experience emotions it’s not attributing human emotions to them it’s getting your human head out of your butt,animals grieve, anyone who’s had a dog knows they get happy,nothing human about it
Shadow had his head going left to right so fast at one point it looked like he was watching a tennis match 😎 lol Love these precious raptors. Always rooting for them ❤️🦅❤️
Shadow has become a great nest builder👍 He now knows to put only fluff in the middle area with a few small sticks under it for support. The outer sticks are great protection for the eaglets. Stephanie
The nest is looking fabulous!!! I just love this pair!! Praying for another clutch!! One thing I notice.....Jackie is not too fond of Shadow stroking her butt feathers. 😂😅
It really does seem like Shadow is looking for eggs. That would be so wonderful if it happened. I just love seeing them together and love how they sleep in the tree every night. So sweet.
@gentry koda - I didn't proof read my answer. Sorry about that. If she stays flat on the nest for hours (called pancaking)- then you see her quiver a little - sometimes slightly leans to one side. I can try and find a video. - Stephanie

on the nest - she knows she's getting ready to go into labor or is in labor.
