I would recommend using a birdfish for any studio recording on which you want to sound like using the perfect Stratocaster. It might be one of the greatest sounding guitars in the world.

Ha! The comments on this amazing instrument reveal so much; some people have NO imagination, like a guitar has to look like every other fucking guitar, right? WRONG! It shows that so few people nowadays appreciate someone daring to be different and to demonstrate the highest levels of craftsmanship where so many guitar makers are having their shit made by children in Korea - where's the integrity there? And yes, it does sound amazing, do you honestly think that grizzled tour warriors like Kirk Hammet or Billy Gibbons would take one of these on stage if it sounded shit? I want one, it is cool, sounds great and will be a rare collector's item in the future, compare that to a similarly priced Les Paul...how many millions of those exist?

Changeable tone blocks that affect the sound, no electronics within :-)
There are some interesting ideas on that guitar. movable and or replaceable pickups. Tone bars seem like a gimmick, I wish there would be a video showing what the different tone bars sound like. Teuffel makes a beautiful instrument.

Great thing. I like innovations and support this. In terms of sound I reckon that this is different. But me personally don't like it. It sounds interesting and useable, but missing the warmth of any guitar. At all. Might be the recording, but it sounds dead as concrete in this audio.

Guess you missed the part where it's made of high quality electronics, and is a shit ton lighter than a regular guitar, has a small footprint, and is headless.
And the pickups are modular... swappable... moveable...

The Birdfish is beautiful to look at, but a total gimmick in terms of application of its design. Just sounds shrill and muddy.
Because Gibson is hogging all the sweet tone wood, this is what the poor Ulrich Teuffel had to resort to.

The design of this guitar has nothing to do with aesthetics it's purely for practical reasons.
This design is so simple that It's pure genius you can litteraly change the sound of the guitar on the fly.
The possibilities are almost endless
