Kent is seeing an increasing failure rate of the manifold gasket on the older diesel engines. Inspect yours today and follow his advice. You may be able to save your existing gasket. If you let it go you WILL be replacing the exhaust / manifold gasket on your 220D, 240D, 300D, 300TD, 300CD and 300SD up through 1985. Learn the signs to watch for when inspecting your own engine.
