@@rawanalamere2601 I studied by using Quizlet (medical terminology ), also was using a study guide, and I watched these video which were helpful if u want me to send u the study guide lmk. Almost all of the questions from it were on mine. I took my test at home . PSI Test
@@rawanalamere2601 If your school does not provide a study guide for you, yes I will absolutely recommend that you buy the study guide and practice test. If you're taking the CMAA or CCMA exam, you can buy it on the NHA website. I just posted a video this morning on how you can access it.

I Passed 458/500. The NHA study guide needs to be updated cause I think I’m the only person that thought it was hard. I was like Lord have mercy I’m gonna fail cause the wording of the questions was very tricky. I had to use process of elimination with majority. Thanks for the videos

And you’re right… The questions are very tricky. This is why I tell people to make sure they are studying the information/content and not the question itself because they will definitely switch it up on you.
Congrats on passing your certification!!!!!!!!!! i take mine on next Friday through NHA. Is there any advice you can give me. I have severe test fright so I've been praying everyday like lord please let me pass
@@rayeanderson3211 Don’t Overthink!!! Trust Your Instance!!! when you read your question read all answer choices because the simplest word can make the difference. Most of my questions was scheduling questions and hippa violations. If their is someone you struggle with now go over that section again! And Ms. K’s video is always good to watch a

Hi Ms. K,
I just passed my RMA today, again after not working for five years. Your videos helped a lot, especially with the administrative side, as that is not my forte. You are so right when you talk about reading each question for CONTENT, and not for what we may have seen before. I feel extremely blessed, as MY test seemed to be comprised of more administrative than clinical. I did flag questions to come back to, took my time reading, and made the best educated guesses on what I didn't know. You are an asset here! Thank you!

Hello I just first wanted to say I am so glad I found your channel. My name is Ashley and am currently enrolled in a CCMA program. I have a little over 2 months until my certification exam and am trying to study as much material as I can. I have gone through 2 of your videos so far and am already feeling a lot more confident in my knowledge. Wanted to know more about dosage calculations, these problems always seem to be very intimidating to me.

I got passed I studied the questions and answers I got from Mr James all came through on my test day
I had took this test 9 years ago and I had passed it, but I was not able to work due to the fact that I was pregnant with my daughter. I am about to go back to school for this same job title and I came across your videos and it’s encourage me more to go back and get my career. It also refresh my memory on a lot of things when I pass my exam whenever I go back and I take it I will surely update you.

I understand… It’s common to have to take it again. Just remember those areas you fell short and make sure you study study study. In the Q&A video I did the other day I went over some foundational things that you want to make sure you absolutely know

Hi, I just responded to this comment that you put on my other video. Please take a look at my response. And yes you can get a job with just the course certificate. But most places want you to get the certification as well. Please see my response that I posted to you earlier to not confuse you any further.
I’m currently enrolled in a CMAA course and I am scheduled for November to take the certification. I failed my first NHA practice test with a 51%. With my lowest amount of knowledge pertaining patient intake and scheduling. I know it’s bad…. it’s a bit demoralizing considering I’m 19 and wish to become a medical assistant but it’s just stressful sometimes
Do you have the study guide? Also what resources is your school offering? Hopefully they can offer some one on one study sessions. Also check out my video on scheduling if you haven’t already. Don’t beat yourself up. You are learning a new skill, something that was foreign to you before the course began. It’s very common for people to struggle in certain areas.
I’ve sent my main comment the day I was watching your video on CMAA. I’ve managed to go from a 51 to a 68 on my second try! Really have to pick up the pace from here if I want to guarantee a pass but so far I want to thank you. And as for the guide I’m using it’s the NHA guide that includes the 6 practice tests.

What’s the difference between CCMA and CMAA
The Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam is for clinical medical assistants and the Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) is for administrative medical assistants. I'll be doing a video this week breaking down the difference between all of the certifications

Hi, at my school we normally don’t let students sit for the exam until they get at least an 80% on the practice test so I would say aim for that. How many more practice tests do you have left? Make sure you’re re-studying those areas that you fall short in before you take another

What is the passing grade for the CMAA??
The passing grade is a 390 and above. Basically a 70 and higher if I’m not mistaken.
