First time taking the NHA for CMAA & I passed with 446/500. I want to take the time to thank you for your videos. They’re a huge help. The way you explained things really just stayed stored in my brain. I played your videos on repeat. I recommend anyone taking the test study your medical terminology. Only a couple questions from the practice test were on the actual tests. Good luck everyone!

I had let my license lapse and had to retake it, the first time I passed all 3 exams no problem because I had just finished school. But that was 8 years ago at this point. I just got my results today. I passed with a 444 score. My certification lapsed in 2019. Been out of school since 2015. The videos are wonderful…and to add my score was ten points higher than my last exam. Thank you sooo much for all the videos!!!!!

@@MissAnnaMarie Awww I’m sorry but I hope you’re not beating yourself up. It’s common to not pass the first time. You took it through NHA? If so, they tell you the areas where you fell short so I think you should study those areas in your study guide if you have it. If not, you can buy one on the NHA store. Whatever the case, just make sure you’re studying before you take it again. I wish you the best ❤️
Wow these questions are on the money exact questions I got from study guide thank you unfortunately I failed 4 times two different test companies last two scores 68&69 I have no choice but to smile study harder and I will pass it 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Definitely not a failure! I’ve had plenty of students who had to take the test once or twice before passing. Try to focus on studying the areas where you fell short. Let me know when you pass :)

I passed the ccma with flying colors but for some reason I’m struggling so much with the cmaa. I have to pass it this month and I can’t focus to study at all. 😖 I don’t know why i find so complicated. All those questions u went through were on the NHA practice exam. I passed it with a 72% I think, so I don’t feel comfortable taking the exam yet 😭
You may be more ready than you think you are… many of my students who felt like they weren’t ready passed with no problem. If you know the areas where you struggle the most, focus on studying those areas. Don’t wait too long to take the test because you will forget everything
@@MedicalAssistingwithMsK so I took the exam today from home. I ve done all 6 practice tests on NHA, I studied all my notes from school, all the quizlets available and I have to say this. Nothing, not even one question I ve seen before was on the exam. Not even from the practice tests! When I took the ccma it wasn’t that bad at all. Plus a lot of the questions I saw on the practice tests were on the actual exam. This time it was not the case at all with the cmaa. U have to be super duper ready and study everything in the material to be able to answer. Awaiting for results.
@@MrsLyds Wow but it was the same information right? This is why I tell my students not to go into it looking for the exact same questions even though I have had a few tell me they saw some of them on the test. You’re right; you have to study all of the material
@@MedicalAssistingwithMsK it was insane 😫 comparing to the ccma it was 1000 times harder. It had lots of questions about mail, envelopes, business email composition or lettering. Very few of scheduling, and lots of medical terms including roots, prefix, suffix etc. whoever is going to take the exam needs a serious studying time.
Im a high school student trying to become certified. I failed the test and going to retake it this summer. This video definetly helps. Im struggling on compliance and patient education😅
Since you know you’re struggling in those areas, I would definitely focus on those on your study guide… btw, I will be going live tonight for CMAA exam practice part 3

Each test is different. Mine was more about appointment scheduling, insurance and medical terminology.

@@MissAnnaMarie Awww I’m sorry but I hope you’re not beating yourself up. It’s common to not pass the first time. You took it through NHA? If so, they tell you the areas where you fell short so I think you should study those areas in your study guide if you have it. If not, you can buy one on the NHA store. Whatever the case, just make sure you’re studying before you take it again. I wish you the best ❤️
Wow these questions are on the money exact questions I got from study guide thank you unfortunately I failed 4 times two different test companies last two scores 68&69 I have no choice but to smile study harder and I will pass it 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Definitely not a failure! I’ve had plenty of students who had to take the test once or twice before passing. Try to focus on studying the areas where you fell short. Let me know when you pass :)

Hey Anita! I think you’re asking how to take the NHA exam? If so, you can just go to nhanow.com and sign up. Because you’re already a medical assistant, you should have no problem signing up. You can also buy the study guide and practice tests on the website as well

I passed the ccma with flying colors but for some reason I’m struggling so much with the cmaa. I have to pass it this month and I can’t focus to study at all. 😖 I don’t know why i find so complicated. All those questions u went through were on the NHA practice exam. I passed it with a 72% I think, so I don’t feel comfortable taking the exam yet 😭
You may be more ready than you think you are… many of my students who felt like they weren’t ready passed with no problem. If you know the areas where you struggle the most, focus on studying those areas. Don’t wait too long to take the test because you will forget everything

@@MedicalAssistingwithMsK so I took the exam today from home. I ve done all 6 practice tests on NHA, I studied all my notes from school, all the quizlets available and I have to say this. Nothing, not even one question I ve seen before was on the exam. Not even from the practice tests! When I took the ccma it wasn’t that bad at all. Plus a lot of the questions I saw on the practice tests were on the actual exam. This time it was not the case at all with the cmaa. U have to be super duper ready and study everything in the material to be able to answer. Awaiting for results.

This is why I tell my students not to go into it looking for the exact same questions even though I have had a few tell me they saw some of them on the test. You’re right; you have to study all of the material
@@MedicalAssistingwithMsK it was insane 😫 comparing to the ccma it was 1000 times harder. It had lots of questions about mail, envelopes, business email composition or lettering. Very few of scheduling, and lots of medical terms including roots, prefix, suffix etc. whoever is going to take the exam needs a serious studying time.

Im a high school student trying to become certified. I failed the test and going to retake it this summer. This video definetly helps. Im struggling on compliance and patient education😅
Since you know you’re struggling in those areas, I would definitely focus on those on your study guide… btw, I will be going live tonight for CMAA exam practice part 3
