ms K, i just came to say i passed my CCMA exam this week on the first attempt. I think what helped me the most from your videos was being given the confidence I got from answering each of these questions. Throughout the test, I remembered to flag the questions i was not sure of and would go back at the end of the test and answer correctly.

Passed my test with a 419! On my test a lot of practice questions were in the test...like 70 percent and some worded differently. Got mostly admin and patient care. Quizlet helped too. I mainly study out of the Nha ccma book

@@wingyinlam9031 Don’t worry yes they are. I would say I studied for a month and then took a break and studied for another 2 days before taking the test. I didn’t know if I would pass but I did. Please do all six of the practice tests. Then I’d say brush up on some of the main basics. I didn’t study nutrition section at all lol.

I take my exam tomorrow. I just found out about your page yesterday. I’m taking an accelerated 11 week course. I honestly feel like I do t know anything. I’m using quizzlet and our old test to study and I’m realizing I really don’t know what I should. I do feel discouraged. I know that I can always take it again but I don’t want to pay $150 if I don’t have to. I just want to find my purpose and be good at it.
I passed! Took the exam yesterday and thought I failed but made it through with a 397. The exam Qs definitely threw a curveball and seemed different from everything I studied but watching Mrs ks videos were helpful for her tips alone. 💕

I started studying a week before MY exam, I did a combination of your videos, I purchased the study guide and practice test which is very convenient as well cause it gives you 6 tries! and the focus review was extremely helpful. I know everyone gets different questions my advice to any upcoming students is, learn medical terminology and what causes such conditions as well as what testing needs to be done. I saw a lot of Phlebotomy, EKG and medical terminology questions. THANK YOU!!!

Hello there!! I wanted to give a big thank you! I passed my exam!! I was certified right after the course in 2014. I have been working ever since and I didn’t renew🤦🏽♀️ I applied to a university hospital and they required my certs. I crammed for 3 days and passed thank God and your videos!!!! Thanks you love!!

Hi Ms K, I took my NHA exam last night online and received my results this afternoon and got a 431 on my first try. I did study using the NHA study guide and quizzes and took the practice exam 5x and I thought I was going to fail. The content from the practice exams and quizzes weren’t really on the exam and didn’t learn all the asked questions in class. I already been working as an MA in California. NHA here unfortunately isn’t recognized by the state of California as being what they consider to be a “qualified medical assistant” which many larger companies require other certifications. I’m thinking of getting my RMA after a few years of work experience.
Hey I just wanted to come back and thank you for your content and generous help. I passed my exam with a 414 first try. It was not that bad. I did what you said, I knocked out the easy questions and flagged the hard ones, came back to it and finished it within 1hr and a half out of 3hrs they gave us. @@amberdavis4017 yes you have to flag it. Once you finish the test before submitting it, they will bring those questions back up for you to complete and then you can submit it.

Hey Mrs K. I just stumbled upon your videos. I am retaking my CCMA tomorrow afternoon. It has been 9 years since I last took it and I unfortunately let my certification lapse. So I'm preparing and studying for the test again. I'm a CNA now but I am wanting to have both so I can have my options for employment broadened. I appreciate all of your help and support.
I got my exam results (AAMA) and scored 532. Your questions may or may-not be on an exam but sure does help in many way’s especially in reading the question precisely and throw the wrong answers out first and make a determination between two other answers. The exam was very rigorous! I appreciate you! Thanks again!
@@mirii4251 I used Lippincott Williams & Wilkins Medical Assisting Exam Review Book and Kaplan Medical Assistant Exam Prep Book I got both from Amazon I read ,wrote and studied both and doing the practice test in both books. It is important that you understand what each question ask you and to think through each. I spent most of my weekends studying and tried to review a chapter every night after work ( not easy I know) I scheduled my exam 12 weeks out ( I work ten hour shifts Mon -Fri and used CMA App on my phone) tried to study 2-3 hours every night took Friday night off and did at least 5-6 hours of studying on Sat and on Sun. I also made CCMA practices like on here to study. Just remember you’re spending 8-12 weeks studying for something that can change your life forever!!! I also made flash cards for medical terminology and carried them with me wherever I went. Get strong in medical terminology you will use it throughout out your career. There are many practice test on the internet just google Certified Medical Assistant practice exams and you will find them. I’m here if you need to ask anything!

No do not give up. You are correct in saying these exact questions are not on the test. This is why I reiterate studying the content and not the question. Please don't write down or study the questions. If anything, you should write down the info displayed under each answer option, even the wrong ones. People pass by making sure they know what each of those options under each question means. For example, if the question is which of the following is characterized by loss of consciousness and you see syncope, seizure, stroke, and MI listed, and you choose the correct answer syncope... you should also make sure you know and write down the definitions of seizure, stroke, and MI because if they are options that means you may see them on the test. The questions are irrelevant if you know the content.

I am working in the Healthcare field now. I am at the Front Desk for Registration. I currently have my CNA and trying for my CMA to basically take care of family. I have been an Executive Assistant for many years and am now very focused on the medical profession. I purchased the CCMA from NHA and would have to do schooling mainly online. I would love any advice you can give and I’d be willing to pay. This is VERY important to me. I’m 56yrs old and studying doesn’t come as easy for me. I’ve also just purchased Medical Terminology for Dummies 😂 just to give myself a leg up. I can’t afford a lot and that’s why I’m desperately trying to do a lot on my own. Continue to study and keep the information in front of you and you will do well. You have an advantage with working in the healthcare field already. Passing the CCMA test is when you study hard, if you can’t study or you don’t have time for your studies I’d advise you get yourself a help like Mr William.🎉❤️

I have a question I took RMA EXAM 2x and failed by 1 point both times do you recommend me to start studying for CCMA since as you said it may be easier. Thank you I hope you can answer my question. I’m overwhelmed studying so much because every time I retake the test it varies a lot. ❤
Awww thank you ❤️ Because you only failed by one point that means that you know the information so I wouldn’t advise you to start studying different information for a different test. You just need to figure out where you are falling short. Are you running out of time? Are there some areas that you need to double down on studying? Think about these things. And go through your RMA study guide again. If you need more time contact AMT to find out how you can get accommodations for that. I have had students who had to take it a couple of times before they finally passed it. Another thing to consider is if you have to pay for it again? If so, and you feel like you want to give the CCMA a try instead then go for it. But only if you feel like you are prepared for it. Really think about it and let me know what you decide. Either way I know you can pass it because obviously you know the information enough to get close to passing. I know it sucks to get so close and not pass but the good thing is that you know the information.

That’s why after seeing this video I’m considering my options and thinking if CCMA is mainly clinical I can focus on that only. Also is CCMA with AMT or is it through NHA? If so how much is it. Just passed my CCMA test through NHA. Process of elimination is KEY!! Read everything twice. That’s my advice. Good luck everyone!!!

ms K, i just came to say i passed my CCMA exam this week on the first attempt. I think what helped me the most from your videos was being given the confidence I got from answering each of these questions. Throughout the test, I remembered to flag the questions i was not sure of and would go back at the end of the test and answer correctly.

Passed my test with a 419! On my test a lot of practice questions were in the test...like 70 percent and some worded differently. Got mostly admin and patient care. Quizlet helped too. I mainly study out of the Nha ccma book

@@wingyinlam9031 Don’t worry yes they are. I would say I studied for a month and then took a break and studied for another 2 days before taking the test. I didn’t know if I would pass but I did. Please do all six of the practice tests. Then I’d say brush up on some of the main basics. I didn’t study nutrition section at all lol.

I take my exam tomorrow. I just found out about your page yesterday. I’m taking an accelerated 11 week course. I honestly feel like I do t know anything. I’m using quizzlet and our old test to study and I’m realizing I really don’t know what I should. I do feel discouraged. I know that I can always take it again but I don’t want to pay $150 if I don’t have to. I just want to find my purpose and be good at it.

Hello Ms. K, I just want to say thank you! I took my test yesterday 1/9/2024 for the first time and passed!! I started studying a week before MY exam, I did a combination of your videos, I purchased the study guide and practice test which is very convenient as well cause it gives you 6 tries! and the focus review was extremely helpful. I know everyone gets different questions my advice to any upcoming students is, learn medical terminology and what causes such conditions as well as what testing needs to be done. I saw a lot of Phlebotomy, EKG and medical terminology questions. THANK YOU!!!

Hi Ms K, I took my NHA exam last night online and received my results this afternoon and got a 431 on my first try. I did study using the NHA study guide and quizzes and took the practice exam 5x and I thought I was going to fail. The content from the practice exams and quizzes weren’t really on the exam and didn’t learn all the asked questions in class.
I already been working as an MA in California. NHA here unfortunately isn’t recognized by the state of California as being what they consider to be a “qualified medical assistant” which many larger companies require other certifications. I’m thinking of getting my RMA after a few years of work experience.

I got my exam results (AAMA) and scored
532. Your questions may or may-not be on an exam but sure does help in many way’s especially in reading the question precisely and throw the wrong answers out first and make a determination between two other answers.

I read ,wrote and studied
both and doing the practice test in both books.
It is important that you understand
what each question ask you and to think through each.
I spent most of my weekends studying and tried to review a chapter every night after work ( not easy I know) I scheduled my exam 12 weeks out ( I work ten hour shifts Mon -Fri and used CMA App on my phone) tried to study 2-3 hours every night took Friday night off and did at least 5-6 hours of studying on Sat and on Sun.
I also made CCMA practices like on here to study.
Just remember you’re spending 8-12 weeks studying for something that can
change your life forever!!!
I also made flash cards for medical terminology and carried them with me wherever I went. Get strong in medical terminology you will use it throughout out your career.
There are many practice test on the internet just google Certified Medical Assistant practice exams and you will find them. I’m here if you need to ask anything!

No do not give up. You are correct in saying these exact questions are not on the test. This is why I reiterate studying the content and not the question. Please don't write down or study the questions. If anything, you should write down the info displayed under each answer option, even the wrong ones. People pass by making sure they know what each of those options under each question means. For example, if the question is which of the following is characterized by loss of consciousness and you see syncope, seizure, stroke, and MI listed, and you choose the correct answer syncope... you should also make sure you know and write down the definitions of seizure, stroke, and MI because if they are options that means you may see them on the test. The questions are irrelevant if you know the content.

I am working in the Healthcare field now. I am at the Front Desk for Registration. I currently have my CNA and trying for my CMA to basically take care of family. I have been an Executive Assistant for many years and am now very focused on the medical profession. I purchased the CCMA from NHA and would have to do schooling mainly online. I would love any advice you can give and I’d be willing to pay. This is VERY important to me. I’m 56yrs old and studying doesn’t come as easy for me. I’ve also just purchased Medical Terminology for Dummies 😂 just to give myself a leg up. I can’t afford a lot and that’s why I’m desperately trying to do a lot on my own. Hey, Anna! I understand ☺️ Many of my students are in your age range and have been out of school for years. You sound like you are on the right track with watching RUclips videos like mine and already purchasing the CCMA material. Continue to study and keep the information in front of you and you will do well. You have an advantage with working in the healthcare field already. Hopefully they will have a clinical position open for you when you finish.

I didnt pass my ccma, i was so dame discouraged, sad all of the above🥹 i have another chance i have to wait 30 days my goal was too pass the 1st. Time i stood up late nights studying and studying😫😫

Passing the CCMA test is when you study hard, if you can’t study or you don’t have time for your studies I’d advise you get yourself a help like Mr William.🎉❤️

I’ve just took it and I failed. None of these questions of these videos are on there. I don’t know how ppl say they pass watching all her videos? I mean some of only few of these questions were on there. I don’t know what to do anymore.. just give up? I’ve also study the NHA website and same only few stuff was on the actual test

I have a question I took RMA EXAM 2x and failed by 1 point both times do you recommend me to start studying for CCMA since as you said it may be easier.

Awww thank you ❤️ Because you only failed by one point that means that you know the information so I wouldn’t advise you to start studying different information for a different test. You just need to figure out where you are falling short. Are you running out of time? Are there some areas that you need to double down on studying? Think about these things. And go through your RMA study guide again. If you need more time contact AMT to find out how you can get accommodations for that. I have had students who had to take it a couple of times before they finally passed it. Another thing to consider is if you have to pay for it again? If so, and you feel like you want to give the CCMA a try instead then go for it. But only if you feel like you are prepared for it. Really think about it and let me know what you decide. Either way I know you can pass it because obviously you know the information enough to get close to passing. I know it sucks to get so close and not pass but the good thing is that you know the information.

That’s why after seeing this video I’m considering my options and thinking if CCMA is mainly clinical I can focus on that only. Also is CCMA with AMT or is it through NHA? If so how much is it.
