I remember growing up in the 70's, to find a Playboy before I was 18 was all about the nudes...but when I became old enough to buy one, I discovered the great articles on music, new tech, and great lifestyle stuff that intrigued me....and yes, I still liked the pictures of the women...
Yes, it's quite incredible what they've done. I would go as far to say 99 percent of people have heard the brand Playboy but less than 1 percent know of their current turnaround.
I remember stealing my Dad's Playboys...WOW!!!!....I was about 14...when I grew older, I started reading (after looking at the photos) some of the lifestyle articles...and I was hooked!!!! They had stuff about cool new tech, music, clothing styles, and everything...when I became 18, I started buying Playboy...but it wasn't as exciting...there was something about seeing something verboten that gave it a thrill...but I still liked the magazine...
17 March 2021 - Playboy CEO announced on the conference call that they are heavily looking into NFTs. This will be HUGE for the company, given how many photos and items they can sell.
Another superb video...very well done! I had no idea that Playboy was generating that much $$$ in recent years...I guess they found their thing....they easily could have just faded away.
It's a huge huge comeback actually. One of the few brands from before doing better now. Thanks for all the feedback. It's nice hearing how people identify and remember brands that remind us of memories.
Playboy's finest hour was on April 4, 1975 when its iconic Big bunny airplane with heroic bunny/stewardesses participated in an emergency rescue operation after an Air Force C-5A Galaxy crashed at Ton Son Nhut killing and injuring Air Force nurses and many children during Operation Baby Lift.

Bruno, I totally agree with you on the CEO. He really seems focused on making things happen and a no-nonsense kinda guy. Thanks for your support.
I was wearing their clothing back in the year 2000 at the age of 15. Once to see the apparel is back in style again.
