You will still love it. The new features look cool, but it probably won't make that much a difference to you at first. And, these things are super easy to sell on line so if you wanted to upgrade wouldn't be a huge deal. I love my Mantis! Hope they eventually offer in camo. That would be a great addition
Benjamin Abee -$250 isn’t that big of deal. I’ll probably buy it and have both and just use it with the already owned accessory’s and then buy additional accessory’s for wife/kids/buddies to use.

Well done Greg! As soon as I get enough scratch together I am making the switch from a tree stand to your phantom system. Truly think this will help out with my fear of heights and I do prefer to face the tree.
Why make debut at a trade show that none of us can attend?.....how about coming back to indy next month for the deer expo so your customers can see the products?
Seems odd a direct to consumer company goes to a trade show where suppliers place orders for your products to sell in their retail locations. Hopefully they will be at other shows as well.
I bought a phantom and when i got it, i untied the utilibridge for some reason, i cant find any videos online on how to retie it. I'm completely new to this have zero experience with this stuff lol
Lol only $350 - $400 lol I use my Hunter safety system tree stand harness and made my own Bridges and stuff. Work fine .also use my lone wolf seat off my climber for the platform. No way was I going to pay high$$$ for stuff that is practically the same as what I already own.

The original Mantis is great, this one must be awesome. I like that the bridge is not only adjustable, but feels safer when it's thicker than a spaghetti noodle.

Search online. You can probably build one. There are several vids on how to splice and I am sure how to add this slipknot (or prusik) what ever its called. I do like the new loop extentions though. Not sure what I think about the movement of the bridge....seems like it would slip around.
Any reason to swap from a Mantis other than the Phantom looks simpler? I do like the larger lineman loops... but adjustable bridge is easy enough to add yourself, especially since you guys have got me really into Amsteel and splicing now.

There are already new ideas being tested beyond this one...if you don't want to support a company constantly bringing new ideas to hunters, you probably shouldn't support Tethrd.

After trying my mantis the first time, it only took 15 minutes to realize the importance of an adjustable bridge. You all are pros. You knew this beforehand. I love my mantis and will probably hunt out of a saddle for the rest of my hunting career. I like many of your customers have limited funds and try to make wise purchases of quality products. Maybe sell an adjustable bridge that can be switched over to the mantis? I'm not the only person voicing my opinion about this so you suggest that we all drop our support for Tethrd? Let's just find a solution. You're going to have competitors coming out of the woodwork. They will fill any gap that they can find. I would much rather support Tethrd than some copycat company but some people feel like they bought last years model. We feel like we got slightly slighted. That's all. I knew mentioning a purchase from your competitors would ruffle your feathers and rightfully so but maybe don't let it show. Thanks for helping me stay in the woods. Waiting to hear the announcement of a replacement adjustable bridge for the mantis.

I would be choked also. My DIY version is okay at best, so I’m probably going with the Aero, strictly because of wait times.

Those are some good changes. I’m a little surprised you guys didn’t add a bit more material to the seat portion. When you tighten the micro adjusters it seems it would pull more under and past your buns.. if that makes since.
