"I saw 24 other thrones around the throne, and on them seated 24 elders...and the 24 fell on their faces before the one who sits on the throne and gave all glory to God.."

@Sage of Synergism God doesn't "ordain" sin, or temptation.
By His Spirit living in us He enables us to live lives pleasing to Him. But our old sinful nature sometimes overcomes our new nature, and we sin.

@Sage of Synergism that’s just your way to excuse your sin - Gods doesn’t ordain sin in your life - He allows temptation but gives you the ability to resist - testing through temptation makes you stronger - giving in to all temptation because “God ordained it and I can do nothing to successfully resist it” will not get you into heaven. “Resist the Devil and he will flee from you James 4:7

In John 17:12, Jesus called Judas the son of perdition, or destruction.
In Acts1:13-26, the eleven disciples chose another one to take the place of Judas who, they said, fell from his apostleship by transgression, "that he might go to his own place." (v. 25)
Obviously his "place" was not on a throne in heaven, but rather, in hell.
The Greek word for world is kosmos in John 12:47, and refers to the created world in general, as in John 3:16 & 17. The ones believing in Him will not perish, but will have everlasting life.
So, definite atonement applies to those BELIEVING in Jesus Christ.
"And this is the testimony; that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life." (1 John 5:11-12)

Yes. God loves everyone in the same way. Paul the Apostle wrote in Romans that God does not show favoritism. On the other hand.... God does SHOW favor towards those he calls for his greater purposes, but if we sin it's the same disconnection from holiness. Like King Saul, or David, or Solomon. Even Peter when he denied Jesus 3 times, and many of the Apostles who fled when Jesus was arrested.
Now here's the most Holy and Beautiful gift God has ever bestowed upon us ALL; FORGIVENESS through our repentance and Jesus Christ's most precious blood. The ENTIRE Bible is about our fall, our savior Jesus Christ, and our redemption THROUGH Jesus Christ.
We ALL have the same opportunity to KNOW, LOVE, and SHARE GOD with the world. So yes... God shows no favoritism; he loves us all even in our correction, punishment, and for those who have rejected him..... HE'S WAITING FOR YOU.
He WANTS to forgive you. He WANTS to give you NEW LIFE. Amen.

The heathens kept Christmas as shown in Jeremiah 10:1-5 by decking the trees they cut out of the forest with gold and silver. Today people use gold and silver look alikes. By keeping Christmas, you are observing the downfall of mankind in the garden of Eden. There is only one season in the year when the heathens are merry and exchange gifts as written in Revelation 11:10. I am not truly a member of any earthly church but I do visit Sabbath churches like the Adventist and church of God. Sometimes I meet Sunday keepers and because I love them, I tell them to repent. I am a member of the body of Christ Jesus of Nazareth in heaven.

I was pondering the same question. After some research, it seems like the main difference between God's benevolent love and His beneficent love is that His benevolent love has to do solely with the fact that God made all people in His image and gave each living person life. His beneficent love, from what I can tell, refers specifically to God's "common grace" to people alive today - things such as health, if they are healthy, protection from disasters (what most people often call miracles), and the ability to have a family. Non-Christians can have all these things in this fallen world. Those things are evidence of God's "common" or "beneficent" love/grace (Matthew 5:45). Neither one, however, refers to that third love or grace Dr. Sproul calls "complacent," which is for those who are truly saved believers in Jesus Christ. I hope that helps!

God is love, but He is also perfectly righteous and will by no means clear the guilty. He is the Judge who said ‘Vengeance is Mine’. We however are to be doers (and not judges) of His law by loving our neighbor as ourselves, so that we glorify His Name, reflect His image, adorn the Gospel, silence the devil, make our election and call sure, and shine as lights in this fallen world. And it is God working in us both to will and to do, which is a marvelous demonstration of His mercy and love.
      I hope this was helpful!

Yep. Christians are supposed to bless those who persecute them. To bless, and not curse. Well, what did Christ say during His passion? "Father, forgive them, because they don't know what they're doing.." Right? And what happened in Acts when Peter pointed this scenario out to the crowd? Didn't thousands repent? That's the mystery of the gospel paradox. The 'foolishness' (by the world's standard) of the gospel is the means through which humans have eternal life. It's part of what it means to 'count it all joy' when humans 'revile and persecute.' This is why martyrs who were burnt at the stake in Britain could sing hymns of thanks. The Lord confirmed thier calling. He made them His witnesses. They received a high honor to be persecuted for Christ's sake.

Slaves of sin will never choose what is good or right because they will only do that which satisfy the carnal mind. 18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. 19 For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. 20 For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.
      Romans 1:17-20 ESV

By no means! 15 For he says to Moses, "I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion." 16 So then it depends not on human will or exertion,[2] but on God, who has mercy. 17 For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, "For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I might show my power in you, and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth." 18 So then he has mercy on whomever he wills, and he hardens whomever he wills. 19 You will say to me then, "Why does he still find fault? For who can resist his will?" 20 But who are you, O man, to answer back to God? Will what is molded say to its molder, "Why have you made me like this?" 21 Has the potter no right over the clay, to make out of the same lump one vessel for honorable use and another for dishonorable use? 22 What if God, desiring to show his wrath and to make known his power, has endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, 23 in order to make known the riches of his glory for vessels of mercy, which he has prepared beforehand for glory--
