How to make self-watering pot and Tomato grow in this pot on the roof.
*_I go this three pod aerogarden approximately two months ago. I now have over abundance of dill, basil and parsley. This little garden works beautifully>>> . Wish I had a bigger one now ._*

Ingenious!!! I'm envisioning the entire length of my backyard filled with 5-gals veggie production-line. I'm going to just hook-up drip lines on mine. I don't eat tomatoes but got ideas for other favs I like to grow. I was debating whether I should rototill and prep the dirt this summer or what and dreading the amount of work it would take. Summers are hot here and our state has water shortage, however we can grow anything pretty much. Thank you.

Finally this video shows an alternative way of drilling a hole in a plastic container without using powertools. Old school but it rocks.

I emptied the vacuum bag at the bottom of the pot, I put twigs and put the soil on top, so it allows the plant to breathe, and I sprayed a very good shot, and put the pot out, when I came back from abroad after three months, yes three months, I had chili tomatoes and even an eggplant plant that had grown on its own.

Really great video.....but you should tell what material you used for water retention like some cloth and also one of the lid was of different size what is reason behind it and many more quries
so the dirt dose not drop down and fill the water space. Oil lamp wicks with add pices of burlap bag to help the water to spread out more and you can water as much as you want as the extra water will drain out the hole he used to fill it on the side of the bucket.
Sir please add more details for this planting method for how many days after watering required

Drip irrigation is fastest growing for tomato plant. Save lots of water and space for route. I give you example , if you use bucket make hole on side of bottom for small rubber pipe and make needle hole on pipe and pipe bend from front, use gravity force for dripping.
