(Even where I live I've noticed there are still a lot of woman searching for the man of their dreams that can support a family, this Feminist/Woman independent or woman power thing is just a different culture that became very popular in United States and a few other countries, you can't put the same rules on the entire earth) (sorry for bad english)

It’s damn near impossible for women to see your vision. They question and fight the whole way! Been there done that. You would think that after time, they would begin to trust your vision after always coming through but nope! Now my daughter is fighting the vision. Even after coming through in time before. Sigh

As an architect all I can say is that the best thing about the house is the couple.
When I was a kid, I actually thought of buying those scraped SADC Strikemaster, Hawker Hunter and Skyhawk to keep in my house. This guy can start his 2nd hobby 'cos his house would fit nicely.

I love this home. I hope it is as good for his wife as it is for him. She seems to have the space she enjoys and they have their shared spaces. The garage / workshop in the home means he is able to be near his family and enjoy his hobbies. Guys that have the shop across town are always away from home or wasting time travelling. Think Jay Leno. He built a wonderful world in Jay Leno's Garage, but it means he lives most of his life away from home. He is on the road for work and at the garage.
I did the same at my home. I love DIY audio and listening to my creation. That has it's own space on the first floor. Then there is a garage and a workshop on that level. My wife likes to live on the 3rd floor. We hang out together for shared entertainment. Then we have a big pool area where we swim together and enjoy nature.
That's a dream setup right there - Respect to this guy for winning :)
