My interpretation of it all is that her mother Chip was the one that helped her get her first acting gig, and it was she who told her never to give up, and to give everything she has to her roles. Now, she's being honored along with her mother -- the one who never left her side after all these years. To me, I'd say that's something that's worth crying for. :)
Kim looks so much like her mom Chip which I didn't really notice until I saw Kim on Living Single without makeup. Kim's sister (Chip's other daughter) was one of the college friends on Sister Sister. She really looks like her mom.
I truly loved watching Facts of life growing up as a kid. I truly loved living single... I was in the hospital bed watching Living single. After I gave birth to my son. I named my son Kyle because of Kyle Barker that was on Living Single🥰💞💞💞💞🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌❤❤❤👏👏
