- In this video I break down “lucky number 8” a song from my instrumental album Conductor We Have a Problem. I was greatly inspired by Kobe Bryant and Mamba mentality while making this beat with my Roland sp606 and Mpc One. It completely transformed my approach to beat making and removed me from a bit of a writers block!

Fueling your own drive. Makes sense whenever we work on a beat that we get into uncomfortable spaces, but you dont conform those shapes. I used a smaller sample but was like a synth cord the same way , but this was much more grundge.
