TRiDENT is actually a rebranded version of "Girls Rock Band Kakumei". This happened when the original drummer JUNNA left the group in 2020. Its significant as JUNNA had a pretty good following here on YT before the band started. They added Nagisa as drummer and have gone on to amass a pretty good following While JUNNAs name may have gotten them off the ground initially, they have matured into a solid noisy 3 piece band together.
As someone else mentioned in the comments if you enjoyed Serina's bass playing then probably worth IMHO taking it up a notch and listening to F Chopper Koga from Gacharic Spin - ( I'd suggest " Mindset " MV for starters - ruclips.net/video/QmL0V667QzI/видео.html ) . As regards Trident then " Ambivalent ( Live ) " is another really good bass heavy rendition - ruclips.net/video/yGwWnOSvh5A/видео.html ENJOY !

I LOVE these ladies, particularly Asaka's lyrics and amazing vocals filled with power, range and emotion - she reminds me a bit of Lovebites' Asami in that dimension. The things you listed as possible detriments, being Asian and women, should all be positives in the year 2024. What's really holding back all these phenomenally talented bands is simply their genre, rock/metal. Rock has been out of fashion in the mainstream for well over a decade, possibly even two decades. Popular music today, at least in America, is basically the antithesis off what these bands are doing. Today's _pop_ is artificial in every sense of the word, from vocals to instruments. But I get the impression that is slowly changing. It seems more and more people are beginning to get sick of processed & homogenized music. This is due in part to reaction channels like yours helping to show viewers new talents from all over the world. There's hope yet. So, thanks for checking out Trident and spreading the word. Have you checked out Gacharic Spin yet? Serina-san’s skills approaches F Chopper Koga’s (Gacharic Spin’s bassist) some folks say. Check out I Wish I for a heavy song or Mindset for a mind blowing track.
These girls are such a talent, i feel they get a bit overlooked here in the west with all the other great japanese bands blowing up, but ive been following them for a while and they keep getting better and better, how full their sound is with just 3 members is just a testament to their talent, and yes, they sound great live too!
This song is my favorite from them, it is hard to believe that three women are making all that noise, another talented good looking group that knows how to rock. My brain didn't get the Trident reference until about the third song I heard, so you are smarter than I am, lol. 🔱🎸🥁

bro.. so many great female Jrock bands you haven't been exposed to yet.. so many great new tracks dreopped this summer only.. My two fave TRiDENT tracks are Spoopy and Neo Future.
TRiDENT started in middle school with a different name and Junna on drums. I personally think she held back the real talent… She left March 2020, right at the start of the pandemic. Serina and Asaka joined forces with Nagisa (who is every bit the drummer Junna is) and name changed to TRiDENT. They have worked with some famous writers and producers but Asaka’s music seems to fit them best. I also rate Asaka’s voice as one of the best in the business, her range and emotion is great and in the right register she purrs like Saiki or Re:NO - she’s a little genius like Matsuri of Hanabie. They are epic live too. As you can imagine, they use backing as there are about three guitar tracks and keyboards on most of their songs, but that doesn’t detract, the music is all them and they are as good as they appear. They make some quite diverse music too - Spoopy is one end of the spectrum, Ambivalent😊 at the other, this somewhere in the middle. Glad you like them, they are completely under appreciated in the west.
Trident explosive trio from Osaka. They're talent young musicians Asaka vocal and guitare Serina Bass and backing vocal Nagisa Drums. Before the Junna was the first Drums at the period the name was different Girls Rock Band Kakumei After Junna departure on 2020 for personal reasons. Asaka and Serina change for Trident and recrute Nagisa for support Drummer few month later she became official member. Junna now IS in HAGANE and Fate Gear ( tour Joker Card). I❤ this trio. 🇯🇵with their unique sound . Try AMBIVALEN live .
Love Trident, Cry Out is probably my favorite. I’ll second (or third) the request for Gacharic Spin, but I’ll suggest Replica- it’s deep and makes you think, also Bridear-Brave New World Revisited.
