I don't care what anyone says... Dani has had some of the most unique screams in metal that I've ever heard.. and NO ONE could do the shit he would perform in his prime.
Noone keeps this voice only Dani.
yeah! Dani is truly talented. If people do not like his singing, then that is their opinion, but my opinion is that Dani is awesome.

It's nothing short of a miracle that Dani's voice hasn't give up yet, 25 years of banshee screams and growls and still to this day LIVE performances sound like earlier studio albums.
90% bands when you hear them live you can't even recognize "is it the same guy from the album or they changed the line up"
Yeah i'm shocked he hasn't lost those high screams but he still kills it
Do it right and ya can do it indefinitely. The biggest error most vocalists make is not learning proper technique and doing it improperly, damaging the various parts of the throat (depends on the type of "scream") that are used to create the different sounds. I messed up (fatigue more than technique) and blew my highs like 10+yrs ago and still can't do em with years of natural repair. Dani does sound like he may have a little damage but nothing like what happens with a very incorrect method lol

I saw cradle in a one off show in a small club in Virginia in the early 2000's. It was awsome.
Chicago has a club like that. It's called the empty bottle - you can see big names in a room as large as an apartment for 20$ I saw Roky Erickson, I could have grabbed him. Everyone who passes through goes there. Then down the block there is Schubas and its slightly bigger. I don't know why it's so cheap and intimate. Every band comes through those two places. Chicago is weird like that.

It never ceases to "impress" me. Watch any of their live performances, skip to any part of video: The "singer" will be on a low pitch "singing" something nobody can understand... and all of the sudden, he will go to a super high pitch scream, out of nowhere... like a little girl stepping on her cat's tail, not sure if its the girl or the cat screaming. I swear he does that a few times on every single song... although is hard to tell when one song ends and the next begins 😕

For years of my concert and festival life i always disliked black/death metal, a bit too hard for me and i didn't like the growling. I remember this was the concert that started to change that. Me and my buddy had managed to sneak in the first row of the True Metal Stage when a lot of people had left after Judas Priest and where waiting for Subway to Sally who played right after Cradle. Well, Cradle started playing and we were both like "oh no, another one of these". But i soon realized i actually kind of liked it. My buddy just kept asking for the concert to be over already while i enjoyed it more and more 😂
After the festival i bought a random Album, happened to be Darkly Darkly Venus Aversa. I liked it. Bought another random one, was lucky enough to hit Midian. Few months later i owned the whole collection and soon enough i started discovering other bands from the genre. Cradle is still my favourite though

@Adam Ruderman I've seen him the last two times they came to Chicago and he was amazing he sounded amazing they all did the mixing here is just bad.
It is the mixing. The guitars are too loud. Dani is barely louder than them and Lindsay can barely be heard.
I think this is the live direct output, not like we would hear it from the scene speakers, so the balanced isn't good since it's not the sound meant to be heard by live audience, they don't put as much effort in general for the balance of the record for a live. I mean it's not an album record you know.
@@bjornbjornson5256 you can't understand him anyway. So i don't see the problem😄 I like many styles of metal but this is just crap. Arch Enemy is much much better. Female vocal metal bands are the best in the world.
After Damnation and a Day which was super fantastic, these past 3 albums and have been their best, they have finally found the right line up; hope we get 10 more albums out of these line-up

Cradle of Filth isn't even recognizable anymore. They change lineups every 2 years. Like 50 band members in 25 years or so. Crazy. Only Dani remains
