We are Very Greatful For The Fire Department Sheriff Department The Police department and The Hard Work Power Co did To restore Power as quickly as They did and how they are still working for the rest of the Community. The people of Bullhead Fort Mohave and surrounding Areas are THE BEST.WE 🙏
Old power poles. Here in Ormond Beach, Florida for the past several years thousands of utility poles have been replaced with pressure treated ones. Ian knocked out power, but the new poles didn't fail. Invest in those.
A lot of this area is newer construction. They've been having these kinds of freak storms for years. Why the hell don't they put the damn power lines underground?
@@steveallenjr.7104 compared to the cost of replacing all the power poles and lines on a regular basis and all the other cleanup? ? ? In the long run they would be far ahead if they had put all the power infrastructure underground as they were developing the new residential areas.
@@steveallenjr.7104 OK . . . and you're helping me here with my argument. How many times do they have to repair/replace this above ground infrastructure after these regularly occuring storms b4 they have outspent the initial 3X expense?

An extremely impoverished community without power and extreme heat. So sad.

In most case scenarios the pole does not get changed until it falls over or reaches the end of its life cycle.
