Ha ha me too, only I take the crease color a wee bit higher and blend it to buggery, I like it, I think it looks cute🦊, although I'm gonna have to give the other way a go, wish me luck lol
That’s okay, imho the “don’t” side, based on the thumbnail anyway, looks a lot better to me.
well congrats, the don't is also good... I even like it better because I live some definition with a dark/black colour around the eyes.

It's absolutely not wrong, just a different style. She should have just brought the colours up higher and blend it better, then it would have been totally fine😊
The do side is basically for when you want really elongated eyes that look kind of sexy and smuldery and the don't side would be usefull if you want cute, tired round looking eyes. The don't side still makes the eye look bigger, just also rounder I think so.. both look good to me :)
and if you do the right side lid and blend it nicely but just don't do the shadow all along your lower lid your eyes will look round and very cute!
Definitely. I don't have eyebrows, so I cut my crease up real high (right below my brow bone). If you want to keep a crease with hooded eyes, you're gonna have to cut it. I also recommend doing it with your eyes open.
I think the right one looks more grunge, unrefined than cute, but each their own.

Literally the inner corner trick is GENIUS. I've always seen it done before but no one has explained it like you did. I always wondered why my inner corner shadow always looked OFF ❤ ilysm
I have hooded eyes and have never managed to do eyeliner, I havent tried your method yet because everytime I try eyeliner I get so frustrated 😭😭💚
Same :( the crease of my eyelid/hood drops BELOW the outer corner of my eye. So eyeliner will never work T_T
Omy I KNOW RIGHT!! I can do eyeliner on the lid itself but the moment i wing it out its not working, and whats the point of drawing it on the lid only, i want the wing liner 😩. Also her methods won’t work for those like me whose hood crease folds all the way to the end of the outer corner of the eye!!
Ah maybe that's why I struggle, when the wing has to go over the crease hahah
Rosie Hodnett haha exactly that! Some tutorials advice to do the wing lower, so it goes under the end of the crease. But for me that means the liner would go halfway my cheeks 🤣
same 🙄 i'd love to do eyeliner with different colors and all but my eyes say nope. also, my eyes are so hooded that the lid literally sits right on my lashline, so if i were to do any eyeliner at all it should be hair thin to look even remotely good.

I was today years old when I learned that one side is more hooded than the other because I sleep on one side more than the other.
What side is mote hooded? My more hooded side is the one I don’t sleep on 🤷🏼♀️

This is so helpful for us girls/guys with hooded eyes. I have been struggling to find a way to make my eyeshadow look better and more suitable for my shape. I'm definitely going to give this a go! I swear this and your hooded eyes eyeliner tutorial are like actual gold for us because hardly anyone shares tips and tricks for hooded eyes. Everyone does tutorials for normal eye shapes and I'm always left wondering why they don't end up looking as good when I do them but this is so perfect and I really like how you did a side by side comparison that was really smart and very helpful as well! This is hands down the best eyeshadow tutorial for hooded eyes i’ve seen yet. My eyes definitely look more lifted and less droopy. (Bc i have extremely hooded eyes.)
Also, I started doing your trick of creating a fake inner corner by extending the eyeshadow and concealer towards the nose - absolute game changer!

I love this! I've been trying to do elongated shadow like this more often because it's sooooo much more flattering on my hooded eyes. I like your variation though where you ran shadow into the inner corner, but higher almost on your nose. I've been so concerned about adding darkness there, but that looks sooooo good

I honestly prefer the look on the don't side, but it's because I like the sort of moody, smokey, moodiness of it. But the other side is also gorgeous. Different looks for different moods, I'd say.

I have hooded eyes it's a struggle trying to put a crease color down then opening your eyes and not being able to see it.
Also when I do cut creases i have to keep my eyes closed or my little folds stick together😂😭😭

Idk why but the „don’t” side looks bigger in my opinion lol. The „do” side looks longer tho, more of a „cat eye”. Still it’s a great make up!
It's becuase her right eye is actually bigger than her left one. She mentioned it in the beginning of the video. So I guess the makeup on the right won't look 'that bad' or make the eye look smaller just because it is naturally big
