I keep getting so many requests for hooded eye looks...I know I don't have them BUT considering there are so many different variations of 'hooded eyes' I thought I'd share this super quick and easy look that works for most 🙌🏻 Hope it's helpful, and please let me know what else you'd like to see ❤️

Okay, but she didn't use the upper part of her eyes in this look at all so how does that apply? She only focused on the lower part of her eyes... Maybe you didn't actually watch the video and just commented? Seems like it. Not sure how this comment got so many likes because it doesn't make any sense. Plus, she doesn't have ACTUAL hooded eyes

It looks like you are replying to the person who wrote this comment that you're relying to. Do they also have a channel where they do make up looks since you ARE relying to them? You would think people know how to use RUclips since it's been around so long now. I'll have to check their channel out to see if they do make up tutorials. Lol

i appreciate SO much how you specify ways to do this look immediately if your hood comes down farther on the outer corner of your eye. most hooded eye tutorials completely ignore hoods that go down that far and it's been hellish trying to find eyeliner and eyeshadow tutorials that work.
SLAY. i’m very asian lol so i have super hooded eyes and it used to frustrate me so much that the usual way of doing eyeliner made my eyes look sooo small. ive been doing my eyeliner kinda lower like this for a few weeks now and i LOOVE it. and it’s also flattering on me when i draw the wing straight out instead of angled up :) thank u for all the hooded eye content lately alex 🙏
you're seriously one of my comfort youtubers, the way you approach stuff and go with the flow and the way you see "imperfections" like pores and hooded eyes as just features to work with is honestly so healing. thank you for teaching the techniques behind makeup, i always find it so fascinating to get insight to your process and trchmiques and to play around with them :)

As a newb and a gal that only does eye makeup like once a month, I appreciate this tutorial. I never like taking chances at wings because they seem so difficult BUT your tips on using eyeshadow/tiny brush/detailed steps, are helpful!

Perhaps random, but I’m longing for a video on different ways to use a pop of color in the inner corner.
I see it on others and love it, but I think I need some inspo on how to make it work for me ✨
Colour correct any darkness or discolouration around the inner corner before foundation/concealer and use brightening eye drops too, so that whichever colour you use doesn't accentuate dark circles or yellowish eyeballs
She has another video on hooded eyes that she uses inner colour for. “We need to talk about hooded eyes”

I really like the emphasis on the lower lid, and the open inner corner. This reminds me also of your Valentines Day grungey look which had an open inner corner line. Awesome. Id love to see more lower lid-only ideas with a strong graphic element. ❤

You know, there was a huge chunk of my 20s where I never did eye makeup because I felt it drew too much attention to what I considered to be a flaw, my hooded downturned eyes. I have left that mindset behind and it's surprising how often I am complimented on my eyes.
I just tried this look, and I think I like it a lot. I can't wait to play around with the geometry/ lines and really make it my own.

I’ve been doing this shadow/liner shape recently (in a similar way than yours) and I find it easier to do than the bat-wing liner for my semi hooded eyes. Love both techniques anyway, but this looks sooo effortless and flattering that I can’t wait to wear this look again ❤ Looks amazing on you, thank you for the tutorial, I’ll add some of your tricks to spice up this eyelook ✨

Omg I love you and I love this, thank you so so much! Having hooded eyes, I end up feeling a little overwhelmed by eyeshadow application and making sure I don't end up looking worse.
