The trick to filling a slurpee/icee whatever the brand may be called is put the lid on the cup first. Then fill it. It’s going to be the same price no matter what but the extra surface area of the lid helps you hold more.

You may be thinking of "Club" crackers by Keebler? They are another major saltine brand in the US. All of them are great with cheese! Had them many times in my lunchbox at school! xx
The original-and in my opinion best-Slurpee flavor is cherry. Sometimes they’ll also have Coca Cola flavored and you can mix the two for a cherry Coke Slurpee.
7-11 has a cool history: Started in 1927 in Dallas selling just ice as the Southland Ice Company. Later added eggs, milk, bread, etc. The funny thing was some store(s) in Austin during the 60s changed from 7AM-11 PM to 24-hours because of the nearby University of Texas campus and their football games causing late night demand.

Hilarious. Love how they take things so literally.... I like how they discover things that we just take for granted and don't even think about. Nicely done.
The secret to why we love Slushies is that they are so good at cooling you down on a hot summer day, when the temps are over 100, nothing cools you off faster.... When I worked at Burger King I would walk from the bus stop to work, about 3 blocks, in summer it would be over 100, I would get to work maybe 20 minutes early, immediately grab a slushie, and walk into the freezer and drink it over the course of like 10 minutes, by the time I walked out and started getting ready for my shift it was as if it was a pleasant fall day, I was cooled inside and out, and felt great.
The owner's name was Tom Henry and in a vainglorious move, created the Tom Henry Bar. It was a short-lived venture as he sold the rights to the candy bar in 1920 to the Williamson Candy who changed the name to Oh Henry.
You guys crack me up. "7 or 11 dollars." The reason they are called 7/11 is they expanded hours to be open from 7 am to 11 pm and wanted to bring attention to that. Love you guys.
The name "7-11" refers to the hours they were originally open. Back in the 70s and before, stores didn't stay open 24 hours. They were open from 8 or 9 AM to 9PM. 7-11 was open from 7AM to 11PM which was a huge range back then. They were the only store open to serve workers who had to get up early or work very late.
The store was named after its store hours… from 7AM until 11PM. Prior to the 70’s store hours usually opened from 10AM until 6PM. It was revolutionize to open so early that you could get gas & coffee before going to work & close late enough to catch munchies.
When you're a little kid 7-11 is for Twinkies and gum, as a teen .... the same. Eighteen? tobacco products. Twenty-one? beer. That's basically the order of things. It's a glorified snack shop/beer-run destination. Some have gas/petrol too.
In the '80's and '90's (back when I used go to 7/11's) It was all about the coffee. 7/11 used to take great pride in the quality and freshness of their coffee, at least in NY they did. People would vote which one had the best coffee and that particular store would display it with pride. Another point of pride was neatness/cleanliness. I don't think they care as much about the coffee and cleanliness anymore. I can't even find a 7/11 here (in ME) anymore. They all closed.
Still laughing that Lia is still obsessed since NY for those Crackers! Hahaha I would be too... 🤣🤣🤣 Slooooshie? So cute, but it's a Slush like flush... Slushie... you both are so entertaining & charismatic! Enjoy and thank you for your entertaining vids! Watching from Newport Beach ⛱

Too funny! ❤ "7 or 11 dollars" lol Nope "My tongue is having a whale of a time" 😂 That...is a huge 7-11 !! Never have I seen one that size. Fantastic video! ❤❤
The origin of 7-ELEVEN has nothing to do with items costing $7 or $11. It had to do with its open hours, from 7 in the morning until 11 in the evening. Back in the 1960s, when it became popular in the USA, many stores didn't open until later in the morning, like 9:00 AM, and they closed by 7:00 PM. So being open for those hours was a huge improvement over most other stores at the time.
@@americathebeautifulforever9746 I googled it and saw that Henry was the name of a guy who used to go into the bldg where the candy was made and flirt with the girls who made the chocolate. They'd say "Oh, Henry!" and giggle.
I never thought 7/11 would be a tourist attraction 😂 they’re all over the US. Love the assumptions again. It’s called 7/11 because it’s open during those times. Learned that only a few years ago after living here for 8 years 😂 I hope one day Lia will find those crackers she’s looking for.
Oddly, they're rare here in SE Louisiana. They might have one in NOLA, but not sure. We have a lot of Race Tracs, which may be its equivalent. Lots of taquitos and other snacks.
The brand might be Zesta on the saltine crackers you’re looking for. They tend to be lighter and crispier than other brands. The Aldi brand Savoritz is also good.
Lia, I think what you might be look for are Keebler Club Crackers. Probably the "Original". In a green box. Check the local supermarket. Another possibility might be the Keebler Townhouse Flatbread Crisps.
When I was growing up, there was a 7-11 near my house and my mother told me that it meant they were only open from 7am to 11pm. Back in those days, grocery stores were closed after I think 6 or 7pm and this was a little shop you could get beer, cokes, chips, candy, etc....at and it was a gas station too.
7-11's are an American staple. It's a catch all mini store providing the basics, milk eggs, sugar. Then there is gas ⛽ and all of the in-between items. Most 7-11 are open 24 hrs which is great for late night and early mornings runs for basic items.
I love 7/11 Slurpee's!! My favorite flavor is Coca-Cola. And yes you can mix flavors and you're supposed to fill to the top. Most people put on the lid before filling up their cup. The reason it's called 7/11 is because that's there hours. I believe Lia is in search of Keebler's Club Cracker. It comes in a Green Box and the crackers are in individual sleeves in the box and the sleeves are clear.
Many years ago guys. The streets rolled up at at about 8 pm. 7-11 owned by Lady Bird Johnson stayed open till 11pm and opened at 7 am. The beginning of the 24hr convenience store.
I thought 7 eleven were world wide? We’ve had them in Australia since 1977. So funny seeing someone try 7 eleven for the first time 😂 The slurpee is an icon. You can get good and bad ones though depending on wether the machine is set correctly. It shouldn’t be too wet but should be icy. There have been so many flavours over the years. In the summer they are refreshing as. Not really something you buy when it’s 5 degrees lol
There used to be a ton of 7-11s in the U.S but very few are left. They're mainly just in Asia now. The big one here is Quick Trip (at least here in the South), they're very clean and nicely kept. A lot of gas stations have their own convenience stores.
My brother lives outside of Buffalo, NY. Will be nice to be able to go up there again and walk across the boarder into Niagara Falls Ontario now that the boarder has re opened
Confession here. I know the history of saltine crackers because of Lia. I don't think she had saltines of any brand, but a different cracker. Saltines are so old of a style that I really don't think there is any difference except whether they are fresh or not.
I think the crackers you’re looking for are the Pepperidge Farms Distinctive Crackers. They are sold in bulk so the homeowners probably leave them for the guests.
7-11 started as an gas station (the Southland Gas Co.) that started selling ice on Sundays when stores in Texas were closed. Then they expanded to milk and eventually their grocery business was so profitable that they got out of the gas business and started the first major national convenience store brand.
Lol on Joel’s stomach crunching while eating the taquitos mine is crunching just watching them eat them aaaagh! Gotta love em! These are some of your best vids.
As Americans, we know what the worst places to eat already are. And yes, we are ashamed of them. And a good many of us just avoid them. It's unfortunate that you may never know what excellent regional cooking is really like in America. It's not at many restaurants. It's definitely not in fast-food. It's made at home from the broad range of cookbooks available in our country. It comes from recipes handed down from generation to generation. And a very good place to find some I understand is at the many Goodwill's and thrift shops in just about any city. Often RUclips videos will have cooking tips, recipes and classes. I hope you get to have some real American home cooking someday!!
Your description of how that taquito tastes is spot on. It’s absolute trash but so good at the same time. Also I have never seen that type of Oh Henry bar. The other one is the OG. I have to find that PB one. ❤️ So glad you all are here at this time of year. Are you going to be here for Thanksgiving?
7-11's are generally dirty. If we ever by chance had dirty feet, we called them 7-11 feet! Haha! I actually cringed when you walked in there. The video was hilarious! I suppose you would have to live here to get what I mean. Thanks for making me laugh!
Since the 7-11 in the video was in Toronto shouldn't the thumbnail have a Canadian flag instead of an American flag on it? The boneless wings 7-11 sells are pretty good for a convenience store. Oh Henrychocolate bars have existed in Canada for a long time. The addition of Reeces pieces is a recent combination. I'll bet it's tasty, though have never tried it.
Why there is a British flag. The Queen of England owns 90% of Canada. And 7/11 and everything in it is American. Look Mr proud Canadian, there are beautiful places in Canada, but I doubt they will ever go back. Toronto is like NYC without the excitement, and it's just too cold. Who wants to freeze when you can be in paradise in the tropics. Besides there are tons of great things to see and do in the United States, and this is where they make their money. They said long ago over 90% of their followers are from the USA, and RUclips is American. Canada gives them nothing. The United States gives them everything!
We had a Norwegian foreign exchange student stay with us back in the late 80's, and when he first saw a 7 11, he thought it was the hours of operation. He was like, "wow, they're open from 7 to 11??" He was really impressed when I said they were open 24 hours a day. I guess that wasn't a thing in Norway back in the 80's.

There's a new invention. It's called a period.
@@grayadam thankfully I don't get those
The owner's name was Tom Henry and in a vainglorious move, created the Tom Henry Bar. It was a short-lived venture as he sold the rights to the candy bar in 1920 to the Williamson Candy who changed the name to Oh Henry.
I was crossing my fingers the Premium Plus was finally going to end your search for those crackers! 😂😂
You guys crack me up. "7 or 11 dollars." The reason they are called 7/11 is they expanded hours to be open from 7 am to 11 pm and wanted to bring attention to that. Love you guys.
It’s going to be Club crackers probably. They are made by Keebler in a green box called Club Crackers!!!!
Ohh you guys are making me homesick! I am a US transplant here in the UK. I love it yet these are my stomping grounds! My friend's dad owned a7-11 and it was like candy euphoria and Slurpee euphoria for us! I am sure we were on a sugar high! I miss mixing my flavors and layering them at the Slurpee machine and trying not to get a brain freeze! xx

SLUSH... 7 Eleven👍
This has got to be the most chaotic trip to 7-Eleven i've ever seen lol. But in fairness, my first time in the UK this is exactly how my bestie and I were in every shop we entered

That...is a huge 7-11 !!
Joel!!!! “I don’t know. I don’t live here.” 🤣😂 Seriously so funny!!!
Haha, even as a brit I knew 7/11 is reference to opening times. There were loads in Australia too.
Same!
I always thought the O Henry candy bar was named after baseball player Hank Aaron - people shouting O Henry! whenever he hit a homerun.
So funny
@@americathebeautifulforever9746 I googled it and saw that Henry was the name of a guy who used to go into the bldg where the candy was made and flirt with the girls who made the chocolate. They'd say "Oh, Henry!" and giggle.
So much content these days. I feel so spoiled.

Awww so glad you're enjoying it!!
7-11 is open 24 hours a day though... they used to be open those hours like 50 years ago.
@@EricaGamet which is why they called the store 7/11, because it was open those hours 50 years ago when it was made.
Oddly, they're rare here in SE Louisiana. They might have one in NOLA, but not sure. We have a lot of Race Tracs, which may be its equivalent. Lots of taquitos and other snacks.
I think they though 7-11’s here in the US are like the ones in Asia. Which they are far from it!

The brand might be Zesta on the saltine crackers you’re looking for. They tend to be lighter and crispier than other brands. The Aldi brand Savoritz is also good.
Their used to be 7-elevens and Safeways in the UK, but they all closed down and ceased trading in the 1990s
Lia, I think what you might be look for are Keebler Club Crackers. Probably the "Original". In a green box. Check the local supermarket. Another possibility might be the Keebler Townhouse Flatbread Crisps.
It was a fire dept truck. You can tell from the siren. Don't you have convenance stores in England?

individually boxed ice creams!! haha hilarious! Yall are so cute!
The inventor told his wife his dream was to make a peanut filled chocolate bar and she said "OH Henry!" and the rest is history
The cracker lia tried is the green box Keebler club house cracker. That red box is a generic imitation
I think this is just a sign of the times but when someone’s mask does not cover their nose; I cringe
Um, love you both 😍
It doesn't bother me.
@Jen_Cynnn That was driving me NUTS!!
A little tip, cherry or Coke are the popular choices of Slurpee flavors
Coke is the best!!
I think you're right about the Keebler crackers!
Many years ago guys. The streets rolled up at at about 8 pm. 7-11 owned by Lady Bird Johnson stayed open till 11pm and opened at 7 am. The beginning of the 24hr convenience store.
Try the Keebler Townhouse crackers. More of a rich cracker, but not quite a Ritz.
The original stores a long time ago were open from 7am to 11pm. When i was a kid, in some other states, they were called "7 TO 11"
I thought 7 eleven were world wide? We’ve had them in Australia since 1977. So funny seeing someone try 7 eleven for the first time 😂 The slurpee is an icon. You can get good and bad ones though depending on wether the machine is set correctly. It shouldn’t be too wet but should be icy. There have been so many flavours over the years. In the summer they are refreshing as. Not really something you buy when it’s 5 degrees lol
Oh my gosh…I love you guys! “My tongue is having a whale of a time”! 😂
Lia, as many people have suggested, try "Club Crackers" or "Captain's Wafers"(be sure to get the plain version, made by Lance). Happy hunting!
There used to be a ton of 7-11s in the U.S but very few are left. They're mainly just in Asia now. The big one here is Quick Trip (at least here in the South), they're very clean and nicely kept. A lot of gas stations have their own convenience stores.
Those square crackers are called saltines
"Oh, Henry! Oh Henry!" Omg! The first time I ever laughed out loud at a Joel and Lia video!!
You sound like you had Keebler brand Club Crackers.
Oooh, you might be right on that!
The dome lid is meant to be put on and then filled to the top lol
Please tell me you left the open pack of crackers on the edge of the bin.
😆😆😆
Best line by Joel, “My tongue is having a whale of a time!” Lol
Agree....I'm still laughing.
My brother lives outside of Buffalo, NY. Will be nice to be able to go up there again and walk across the boarder into Niagara Falls Ontario now that the boarder has re opened
Calling the "sluh shee" a "sloo shee" was just hilarious to me!
I would never eat 7-11 food but they are known for their drinks.
Your videos make me smile! I love your channel! Keep up the good work. I hope to go to England someday!❤️
Try Town House crackers. They have a different type of taste.
7-11 started as an gas station (the Southland Gas Co.) that started selling ice on Sundays when stores in Texas were closed. Then they expanded to milk and eventually their grocery business was so profitable that they got out of the gas business and started the first major national convenience store brand.
Why not you contact the AirBnB to ask them
I think it was like 3 years ago, but I agree, can't hurt to ask.

There is a lot of junky food in the UK as well, and a fair share of really bad cooking. No country has a monopoly on that ! 😅
Originally 7/11 stood for store hours were from 7AM to 11PM but now are open 24 hours a day in most places
Ya'll need to find a Buc-ees!!!!

7/11 can be found in Hong Kong as well.
Try original Club crackers. Used to be Keebler but now Kellogg.
I love how excited you both get. 7-11 was the only store that was open from 7am to eleven pm in the good ole days.
Slooshee gives me meegrain.
