Blue sky and a perfect day for a walk in a beautiful part of rural England. Enjoy this guide of the walk to the summit of Ingleborough. Filmed with the GoPro Hero2 camera.
It’s my favourite place in the Dales. I haven’t been up from the Gauber road via Park fell and Simon fell. That’s on the cards soon. 2012, I think this is the oldest of your films I’ve seen Daz. Well made as always 😁
Love it around there Sophie, Iv'e spent many a times around them parts both for leisure and for work purposes I just love the natural beauty of the Dales. I used to make a lot of walking videos in the past when I was really into it. (I still am) but have come to the conclusion I need to retire to fit all of my activities in .
MrDazP1 the ONLY thing I miss about work is the feeling of security the income gave me. I could spend as I wished. Now I can still spend but regulate it. So I can recommend retiring 100% in terms of the time it allows. No work worries to keep me awake at night. On Monday I walked Wolfhole crag in the Forrest of Bowland. This gave a great view of all 3 Peaks, lakes and the Fylde. I love exploring. My GoPro work is slowly evolving. I feel safer walking than cycling. I did 50 miles yesterday then got on the tourer and went to Lidl. Tiny carbon footprint. So yes, do look forward to retiring Daz 😉 I know you won’t be bored.
@@sophiescyclingandwalkingch4294 I certainly wouldn't be lol. It sounds like you are getting out and mixing things up which Keeps things interesting. There are some great places up there where you walked too , it's always special to be able to see the sea.
It is difficult to admit to that but I miss Pen Llyn this time of the year, It is great though to get on to some local hills and see some beautiful countryside.
Cracking Daz, superb day with some great images. I really miss the companionship of a dog (not had one for a few years) - really understand the "best mate" comment. Like you I keep meaning to take the Five-0 out but its just too cold :)
I've been out surfing in the winter in the North Sea a couple of times. My feet went completely numb from the ankles forward - very unpleasant!
You were brave giving it a go in winter, it's freezing cold in August !
Horton station is in a wonderful situation - straight onto the fells. No town to walk through before open country. Done it several times.
Yes it is a great setting with a lovely backdrop of Pen-y-gent Ronnie. I love it up there.
The waters are frozen. Lol
