Man once I get my A license in a few months, I will finally be able to get a VFR750, been dreaming about getting one of these bikes since I first found out they existed, the only other bike I can see myself on is maybe a CB400SF Hyper Vtec.
Planning on touring around the UK and Europe, maybe throw a bit of camping in, gonna be my forever bike.
Just love em, insanely reliable, enough handling to have fun on, enough power to stay safe and eat up the miles, enough space on the back for your bags.
plus the clock will be useful for keeping track of when I gotta catch my ferry to the isle of wight.

I own a 91 in the red with white wheels combo. Done 15 k miles on the clock, is in mint condition !, just recently had the carbs cleaned out, a pilot jet on no.1 carb cleared then all synchronised & fuel mixture screws dialled in for the optimum running efficiency !, LOVE IT to bits !, a extremely well put together machine, very comfortable & still shifts without any signs of hesitancy whatsoever ! She’s definitely a keeper 😎👍🏻

I owned one of those new way back in 91. Coming from 80s tech, this thing was awesome to ride. Shows how good they are when 30 years on they're still being ridden. I drive an 07 fit, and it's they only one I see out there.

800£ that's a steal. Ive got the exact same bike and i paid 2600 back in 2004. I think it
    would fetch over 2200 now.

Bought a brand new RC36 gen 4 back in 97. Sold it to buy the then new fuel injected model Blackbird. Regretted it almost instantly. Blackbird was a fine bike on the open road but a bit of a bus in town, far to much of a stretch over the tank for me.
Last bike I had was the injected CB1300 which was sold in 2007.......Never let your hobby become your profession.. The hobby dies.
    Until now...
September brought a new addition to the shed. Yup, a 1997, 30,000 mile VFR750fv. It stayed intact for around 30mins and is currently going through a full restoration of the chassis, brakes and suspension. Of course the engine will need no work other than basic servicing, top end set and carb balance, which being an ex motorcycle techie is not a problem. I still have the gear to do it.
New Hagon shock just arrived and all that is left other than cosmetics is a fork tube rechrome and new bushes/seals; really hate pitted tubes, even if it is up by the yokes and nowhere near the seals.
The VFR is one of only two bikes I regretted selling, the other being the Yamaha DT175mx.
Really looking forward to riding this one again. Marvellous bike.

I znowu zacząłem przygodę z v4.pozdro z Polski

Finally picked up a 4th gen VFR last month after very regrettably selling my first vfr in 2018, just can't stay away from the things. Still miss the left hand exhaust from my old one though, and the new one needs fairing repairs and a respray. Wish people sold fairings for them.

One Boy's Dream I’ve subbed to you so I don’t miss this! Mine has been sadly unused for 7 years due to various reasons but I’m now ready to recommission it, been gradually buying new brake pistons and seals etc and know I’ll need to take the carbs apart to clean all the old dried/gummed fuel out of the jets so hope that’s one thing you’ll be covering. Looking forward to it.
