@@stefanfrancke8946 that is true, the newest rendition of KLM seats also feature doors. But the reason I prefer the AF seats are that the KLM seats' door and the seat in general feel a bit cheaply made (?) compared to the AF A350 seats...
@@TraverseFlightReview okay, though the fact that the KLM doors are very light is for me not a bad thing. Everything that decreases weight on an airplane is a plus for me.

I have heard from several friends that the renowned Air France on board service has declined from what it once was in the past. I am always amazed that airlines don't seem to realize that you can have excellent seats and meals but if your cabin attendants have an attitude that screams, "oh I really don't want to be bothered by these passengers", you have just ruined the entire experience. The best breakfasts that I have had over the years are SQ's. Their omelets with herbs are so fluffy and delicious. Take care and have a pleasant autumn 🍂 🍁.
Hey John hope you've been well! Yes indeed.. I just hope their service level remains in top shape for La Premiere 😅 and I guess I will have to try SQ soon! It's been awhile since I flew with them :)
Thanks for the flight review. I certainly agree with you on T3 and even T1 at Pearson Airport. Travel to an Asian airport or even Denver (one of my favourites) and you'll be embarrassed to say you are from Toronto. It is weird (word of the week in America) that this is a brand new airplane without exterior cams and wifi? Crazy... thank you for investing the time to film, edit, and add sub titles.
AF food out of Paris has also declined with its service. My preordered meal (I usually order from whatever is on the menu but they offered some additional choices the day before) was not loaded on the flight. They tried to just stick a “seafood casserole” entree on my table. I just skipped the meal since they had nothing else. The serving FA handed me a dry towel at the end of the flight.
Flew BOS to CDG and return - row 1 center seat out bound Row 10 center on the return. Row 1 is better in every way , not as much noise from the restrooms or galley. More room and storage. The mains were meh , the cheese and desserts were good as was the wine - eat in the lounges. The service was super.
Food is often poor quality and not up to the expectations on return flights back to the home airport. I had this experience on British Airways from Miami to London. One would think a chef / cook in Miami would know how to properly cook a fish, but I was wrong. On my return flight home to Miami out of Heathrow BA had the best lamb shank, perfectly cooked, fall off the bone tender; 5 star restaurant quality.
Culture deeply influences service When it comes to thoughtfulness, attentiveness, anticipatory-proactiveness towards passengers, European/American airlines just don’t have the sincerity & genuine levels …compared to Middle Eastern airlines and above all top-tier Asian airlines like JAL & ANA.
Not my experience that most Asian and Middle Eastern service ethics are better than European. It's a mixed bag. The ME carriers mainly employ Western crews anyway. As for Asia, Cathay is great, the Japanese carriers are good but robotic; the Chinese ones are mediocre. On a good day, AF is as good as any of them.
The KLM Crown Lounge in Toronto is a disaster. I have complained many times to Air France about it. The food is terrible and always the same, bland and boring, with very little to no choice. The wines are not good and there is not even champagne. I wish Air France had their own lounge like they have in Montreal. I'm going back in December and I'm not looking forward to this lounge. So sad. Please IMPROVE!
Great video. Did you have the flight CDG TORONTO ?
nice cuisine; great cabine & privacy! AF is much better then KLM!
My next review will be Amsterdam to Toronto on KLM, and must say I 100% agree with you XD please still watch my review 😅
Really depends on the airplane - the new KLM business class cabins have the same privacy

Stunning Review! , I didn’t like the onboard service and the catering was a bit disappointing. Keep the good work!

What are AF's older business class seats like compared to these updated one?

@@TraverseFlightReview No , I usually can cop a couple of hours but it departed at 17:15 so no sleep for me or my wife.

Food prepared in North American cities is never as good as from Europe or Asia. At least that's my experience.
BA food sucks. Try Alitalia, the best.
@@annecy49 Italy, France, and UAE have the best catering.
Air France did their homework when they revamped their business class suite!
Thanks to you, I know now what airline I will not be flying with when I go to Paris. I appreciate you taking one for the team!! Aloha from Hawai'i🌺🌴
Very mediocre. Boarderline bad, the only thing that lifts it is it's a brand new A350, best plane in the sky.
ITA is way nicer

Middle eastern airlines like Emirates or Etihad are managed by western managers.

That is really sad. from such A lister airlines much more is expected, after paying so much .......hope the services improve
Air france is NOT an A-lister airline...
