Love my skullcandy no problems with phone calls and I can dail back the bass with certain songs. I use a app with eq settings and I can tweak the sound even better.

I have to say that I have been using Crusher Evo since 5 months now and the sound quality is no doubt great but bass it provides sometimes becomes too much uneccaarry ...I mean I don't need that much bass .... I just keep the bass slider little bit up and it gives you the standard bass for most of the songs...but if I move the bass slider more up it becomes to much for me to handle. Sound quality no doubt is great but for me only until the bass slider is set to low level.
But the thing I genuinely find impressive about these is that there is no disturbance in audio at all. Even if the bass is set to full you can still hear all the vocals and instruments clearly with no disturbance.

7:10 you forgot to mention that the crusher evo makes a horrible hissing noise while using the audio jack while you have them powered on. You need to have them on if you want to use haptic bass
I’ve tried both of these. Since I mainly use headphones for the gym. I choose Evo over Sony. Also If you’re all about noise cancellation than I would recommend Regular Airpods Pro (not max shown in video) Honestly I found it way better than Sony. Because If you have iPhone and that Sony, it is not loud enough and you’ll hear everything around. While skull candy, use slider and you won’t hear shit!!
Why does everyone think the bass is a negative? That’s the whole point! That’s what they are made for! If you use the slider it’s like 12 inch subwoofers in a small car. If you turn it off the headphones are really decent. Saying they have too much bass is ridiculous because YOU CAN TURN IT OFF. They are way better than people make it out to be. The bass slider for reviewer is like sticking a pole into your bike wheel and complaining that you crashed. The only negatives. Mic sucks, cable with power for the bass has feedback, might not be comfortable for everyone.
The thing with the Crusher EVOs is with the slider turned all the way off, there is practically no bass or low end at all. It sounds weird with the slider all the way down and not balanced at all.
Should have tried it wired and turned off just to hear the driver performance.. As even with the bass slider turned all the way down it still adds additional bass from secondary drivers.. Wired + Turned off = Pure 40mm driver sound with no Sensory Bass, They actually sound fine. Wired + Turned On = Sensory Bass added in even with the slider all the way down. Wireless = Sensory Bass always on even with slider all the way down.

I begin to think that maybe the pair of Crusher EVO that I bought was broken. The pair that I had was easily THE WORST headphone I’ve ever listened to, period. Don't listen to the bs. Skullcrusher is the better headphones. Sony are very quiet compared to crushers. Volume all the way up but it seems like their halfway up. Only pro is they are very comfortable

I love my evo’s. Purchased the 910n as daily drivers for work and was pretty disappointed. They don’t compare to the evo or the Sony xb950n1 from back in the day. Maybe they were defective? Edit: Movies and gaming with the evos add another dimension to the content.
IF it headsets, Razer Nari Ultimate with Synapse software. Those headsets have very high standard of bass. EVO are only entry level "bass" and Sony are lacking "true" bass.
Anker Q10 Black model = Bass + High Res audio really does work and wow what a unique combo now i'm branching back out to not so good bass by Sony and Crusher as i want the ultimate Pair and buy another pair of the same model as back up. All because Anker Q10 Black is sold out everywhere. If i could get one more pair of Anker Q10 Black i'd stop looking elsewhere. Anker Q10 black is kinda Audiophile level with just AAC and sounds better than LDAC
I'd say that the panasonic rb700 are a way better choice than both of these the bass is like the crushers but are way more accurate with the notes and the sound quality Is good also
I returned the Sony 910 and bought the Skullcandy Hesh ANC and although the Hesh don’t have the xtra bass marketing it has more bass than the Sony 910. Thus the Sony 910 should not be marketing as xtra bass headphone, it’s false advertising because the bass pretty flat. The Sony app EQ do nothing either.

I'm an audiophile bass head. The bass needs to be clear, deep and powerful though.
So you need Razer Nari Ultimate or Razer Kraken Pro 3 with Synapse software, not entry level bass of Skullcandy or lack of bass Sony's.
