I was not motivated and about to scroll aimlessly. Watched your vid and picked out my work clothes for tomorrow. Now going to read. Thank you for your vid
Love these tips! The key for me is to not sit down as soon as I get home. Making my lunches for the next day right away makes such a difference in my mornings.
Just came across your page and as a woman that’s in her 40’s and being single in a season where your really trying to figure out what to do with your downtime. I love these ideas. I’m taking a fast from social media and I’m in a season on trying to be more obedient and productive. These are amazing tools that I’m going to utilize in my downtime
Thank You Diaka! This worked today!!! I came in ( now I did sit me and my purse on the couch for 5minutes wrapping up a call about our November and January Hangout) vs getting in the bed to watch RUclips videos! I changed my clothes first. My dinner for tomorrow is cooked, lunch made, clothes from dryer folded, clothes from washer in dryer and I’ve eaten. That’s all I have in me for today; but I did more tonight than I did last week!
I stumbled upon your video and so glad I did, I never really see videos of people going into the office and talking about what they do when they get home, there are many out there with people who work from home, but doesn’t apply to me😬
I love the idea of the 15 min drill upon getting home from work. And the flash 15 mins of reading is *chef’s kiss*! Thank you, I’m going to incorporate this. 😊
I just came across this video. I have been struggling with coming home and being on my phone or watching tv until bedtime. I don’t have to cook dinner as my husband is retired so he does alot of the cleaning, laundry, cooking. However there are things I want to do that I enjoy but because I am brainless and tired from work I sit. I would thrive on a scheduled routine. Thanks for this video!
Thank you for this. Sometimes when I get home I get overwhelmed with what needs to be done and end up doing nothing. Your suggestions help a lot. New subscriber here.
Hi Diaka! I just discovered your channel. Love the simplicity of your strategies. This is just what I need to get myself back on track and out of my slump. I just ordered a digital timer to get myself started!
This video just popped up on my timeline and I believe it was the Lord because I struggle with being productive after work. I'll be super tired and I have four kids to look after and I'll be lost as a duck after work trying to figure out what to do
I know how hard it can be with kids! I used to tell them the first 15 minutes in the house let me get stuff done then I can get to them. It allowed me to at least start with small wins! You got this!
Love this! Just subscribed. This is very realistic & relatable. I work from home and I always struggle with stopping work at the end of the day then I pick up my phone and start doom scrolling!
🙏Thank you for this video, very insightful. I've been working on improving my evening ritual. It's so easy to just slip into eating dinner and watching tv.
Who is this amazing woman?😍 Best night time routine I’ve seen and so easy to follow. The breakdown of the tasks into just a few minutes are pure wisdom
I love this content! I am all over the place when I get home from work. Sometimes I waste too much time in the car ( scrolling or napping) before I walk in to greet my dog. I don't get much done due to guilt of leaving him alone while at work. I entertain him all evening and just lose myself. It's a vicious cycle.... I love your time structure concept. Seems very practical. ❤❤❤
Love the timer idea Going to get one for me and the kids…. My evening looks totally different because I have a 3rd and 8th grader so it’s pretty intense. But I’m trying to teach them this exact type of thing.
What a great video. I'm not trying to "hussle" or build a business, but there are some self development things I've always wanted to do and this helps a lot.
So good! My job is physically exhausting and I'm expieriencing some pain in my hip...which adds to the physical and mental exhaustion. I also have a large dog that requires 5miles of walking each day. It's refreshing to realize that smaller time blocks can accomplish so much! Thank you!!
Great video. I recently lamented that I miss how productive I use to be after work. Lately I come home and sunk out. My excuse is I’m an early riser and am generally more productive before work. I like the two minute drill! And will be incorporating this immediately. Time chunking too. Even my water consumption has decreased but new week struggles loading!
Thanking the algorithm for suggesting this video and introducing me to your channel! I’ve been struggling with a tendency to “couch rot” in the evenings, so this came along at the perfect time. I love the tip of doing the 15-minute “tomorrow prep” immediately, before anything else, after I end my workday (I WFH). What a gift to my future self AND a way to build a bit of momentum that sets the standard for the rest of the evening. Thanks for the great tips and inspiration!
I love this!! I may tag you in a video of me attempting your 2 minute challenge to see how applicable it is to my life. Thanks for the idea. I think the timer idea is perfect. ❤
This was good info, especially if you can get home around 5 or 6. When i had a 1+ hour commute and little ones that needed help with homework and i fixed dinner, my extra time had to be in the am before everyone got up. I do think time blocking is important if you are going to be intentional about getting things done.
I really Loved this! What's so funny is I move like this when I get home from work. My goal is to be in bed by 9:00 to make sure I'm getting 8hours if sleep
Great video and tips I am definitely going to follow. I find myself coming home and spending most of my time on the couch in front of the TV trying to get things done for my online boutique. Not to mention, I'm a sports girlie also ❤
I just came across your page!! I live in Pasadena (outskirts of Houston). I'm a new widow & have been struggling with balancing my life!! I am going to give your method a try. Subscribed look forward to viewing more. Roxx

Geaux Saints⚜️ First time watching your vlog and there are some helpful takeaways. I’m curious to know if you have school aged kids? It’s a struggle juggling the evening routine and I do the best can -always looking to learn from others. Thanks for a great video.
At this point my kids are older. When they were school age I did still spend the first 15 getting settled. With kids I had to priotize what I wanted to focus on which was my fitness. If something else gave that was ok as long as I kept the focus.
Great video ! I do something similar and it’s life changing, being a single mum and working full time , it really helps to use our evenings ❤ Did you shoot this video with Sony or iPhone ? I’m looking to upgrade for my RUclips , thanks x
