Ancient Bards is so underrated. The albums are all story based and have all been about The Black Crystal Sword Even though this is their 4th album, it’s actually a prequel and a sequel
Origine is such a fantastic album, it's quickly become one of my favourites. Not only for the phenomenal music, but also the rather tragic tale that's told (Ancient Bards is a narrative band, similar to the likes of Gloryhammer and THEM). Eirenne and Lork are the daughter and son of The Supreme, the holy leader of the Aeons and the keeper of the White Crystal. The time soon comes for The Supreme to choose his successor, and he chooses Eirenne. Lork, having spent his whole life praising his father and following the teachings, feels that it's *his* brithright to watch over the Crystal, that it's *his* task. He becomes more and more jealous, more corrupted, until he finally snaps and stabs his father in the heart. He flees, joining with the Rejects and becoming their king, while Eirenne is left to discover the corpse of her father, knowing that her own brother, the same brother who she had played games and enjoyed festivals with as a child, had turned to a path of darkness.
Since I've said the story of Origine, I feel like I should also relay the tale of their first trilogy of albums: The Alliance of Kings, The Soulless Child, and A New Dawn Ending. So, we start in the first album: Alliance of the Kings In Last World, there is an ancient artefact known as the Black Crystal Sword. This sword is an item of unimagineable power. Whoever wields it gains all the magical knowledge there is to be had, becomes immortal, unbelievably strong, and incredibly resilient. For this reason, it is locked in a chest, in the Dark Cave in Noland, and the chest can only be opened when the Four Weapons of the Four Kings are revealed before it. The four monarchs are: Daltor, King of the West, who wields the Silver Sword. Alron, the Prince of the North, who wields the magical rod. Rahed, King of the Elves and wielder of the Golden Bow. And Shena, Queen of the Kerims of Ice. The Black Crystal Sword is known only to these four... or so they thought. One day, a man named Dorus comes to Westland to warn Daltor that Sandor, the Supreme Dark Wizard, has learned of the Sword and seeks it for himself. Right away, Daltor takes Dorus to the other three monarchs, and they all travel to get to the Dark Cave and confirm whether Dorus' claim is true. However, on the way, they are beset by a black dragon, one of the two assigned to guard over the Black Crystal Sword. After a valiant battle, Daltor is carried off by the dragon, his Silver Sword dropped on the ground, and he is lost. The others carry on valiantly, with Dorus taking up the Silver Sword. Now, on to album two: The Soulless Child. The four remaining heroes get to Noland, and they enter the Dark Cave... they find that the white dragon, the other assigned to guard the Sword, is missing. And lo, they find that the place that the chest should be... and find it empty. Sandor truly has the Black Crystal Sword, and he must be stopped before he manages to open it and wreak havoc on Last World. On their journey, however, Queen Shena casts her mind back in time... back before Sandor became a wizard of evil. For once upon a time, he and Shena were lovers, and even though their love was forbidden, they were determined to stay together, no matter the consequences. They even had a child together... but alas, that child died in infancy, and the shock split them apart. The four heroes: Alron, Dorus, Rahed, and Shena cross the Dead Sea, into a dark castle which serves as the home of their foe. When they arrive, however... they find Sandor is waiting for them. He calls Dorus to his side... his son. For when their child had died, Sandor had tried to convince Shena to resurrect him, to use her magic and that of the Black Crystal Sword to bring Dorus back to life. Shena knew, however, that not even the Sword could bring back the soul of their son... Sandor's grief was great, however, and he turned to darkness, to resurrect the empty shell who had been travelling with the Kings and Queen this whole time. And now... the Four Weapons are all gathered. The chest opens... and Sandor takes the Black Crystal Sword! His strength increases constantly, and he easily repels the heroes as they throw themselves against him. When they are unable to attack any further, he turns his attention to Dorus, and casts the spell to bring back his soul... yet it fails. He tries again, and again, and again, but his son's soul still will not come back. Sandor is driven to rage and fury, and he turns to his foes... including the woman he once loved. He starts towards them, intent on causing death if he cannot cause life. Before he can deal a blow, however, a window behind him shatters... and when he turns around... ... Daltor is there! When Daltor had been picked up by the dragon, he managed to free himself with a hidden knife. After a battle, he had finally managed to get through to the dragon, whose mind had been taken over by Sandor. Now free of the warlock's control, the dragon flew Daltor to Sandor's castle where, taking up his Silver Sword, Daltor prepares to face the dark sorcerer, and decide the fate of Last World... And now we come to album number three: A New Dawn Ending. The duo swing at each other constantly, dodging each others blows over and over again. While they do, Daltor thinks back to his childhood... specifically, a hunting trip with his father. They were hunting a bear, and it was Daltor's turn to take the bow. His father had told him: "Every fighter knows that his chances are stronger when peace lies within." At the time, Daltor did not understand it... the bear ran away, he refused to take the blame his father put on him, he insults his father and runs away. Later, however, he comes to his senses, and runs back home. He is desperate to gain his father's forgiveness, to apologise for his foolishness. When he gets home, however, the door is locked... he breaks in through the window, and he finds his father... hanging from the ceiling by a rope. His whole life, Daltor had blamed himself for his father's suicide, that his words of contempt and hatred had caused it. However... Sandor reveals the truth. It was him who drove his father to suicide. Through mind control, Sandor made Daltor's father pick up the rope, step on the chair, and put it around his neck. Daltor gives into his rage and fury, and charges forward, only to be swatted aside by the superior power of Sandor. The Four Kings are on the ground, powerless while Sandor decides on whom he should drop the sickle first. It's King Rahed, the eldest of them, who urges them to try something, anything, to stop Sandor! The four of them all crawl throught he bloodsoaked dirt, reaching for their weapons. A laughable attempt, in Sandor's eyes. But Rahed's magical rod draws the powers of the Bow and the Ring, and they all begin the float in the air... and when they come into contact, they create a beam of pure light... which goes straight into Daltor's Silver Sword, imbuing it with the force of the magical elements. Reinvigorated, Daltor stands once again, his Silver Sword glowing brightly with the force of light. His father's words are so much clearer to him, like a strike of lightning across the sky. He is calm. At peace. And he begins the duel once more. Again, they avoid each other constantly, never even connecting their weapons. Finally, their blades clash... and the Black Crystal Sword shatters! Daltor wastes no time. He shouts "This is for my father!", then he pierces Sandor through his heart. As he dies, Sandor's face loses its malice. Loses its scowl. It becomes peaceful, as the evil leaves his body. The castle begins the crumble, and the Four Kings manage to escape, but not before Rahed picks up the shards of the Black Crystal Sword. They even take the corpses of Dorus and Sandor out, and at Shena's behest, bury them in a peaceful lakeside beneath a mighty oak tree. Sandor is with his son, at long last. As they return the crystal shards to the Dark Cave, Rahed calls the attention of his comrades to the shards... for rather than black, they have become pure white. That night, as they sleep, the spirit of Daltor's father appears to him, and tells him that an ancient legend speaks of a White Crystal Sword... and an evil force imprisoned within it. With the destruction of the sword, that evil has been unleashed... ----- Origine is very much a prequel to this original trilogy, and the trilogy that spawns from their latest album seems set up to be based on the creation of the White/Black Crystal Sword. And presumably, Lork is the evil force which was imprisoned in the sword.
Welcome to Ancient Bards world! I've been a fan of them since they debut album back in 2010. They definitely deserve more love and recognition, I hope this will help! Loved your reaction. They have so many great songs to listen to. If you want another, I will suggest... Soulless Child, Master of Darkness, or Showdown. Great reaction, and glad you liked them!
I'm very late with this one, haven't paid time to visite your channel these last weeks. I'm happy you took the time to look at this great band! Ancient Bard is a very underratted band, their job is awesome, they all are killer musician and I love what they play. Also ... I knew you'd love the bass player!
Another band in which everyone solos at god level is Seventh Wonder (Tommy Karevik from Kamelot has been their singer since 2005 & the band is still together)
I'll never forget the first time I heard this song, and thus discovered this killer band. I was just jumping through metal songs I'd never heard and this music video just popped up as an ad. The moments it started I knew I had to listen to the whole song and I've been a fan ever aince. Definitely check out their track "The Last Resort" it features the legend himself Fabio Lione. I also highly recommend "To The Master Of Darkness" and "In My Arms". Also the storytelling on their albums is absolutely stellar. I've listened to them all in order a few times and would kill to see a novelization of it.
God, the solo work in this is some epic shit! Also, I wish I could make a D&D character half as badass as Eirene... I'd settle for a fraction as badass. This makes me wanna see a Brothers of Metal reaction on here even more - Prophecy of Ragnarök is a good entry, but I'd say go for anything! ^^ Love your reactions, analyses and tank facts man, keep it up!
Nice one, as usual! I love this song and enjoyed your reaction! Now, you need to go for Rhapsody. Ancient Bards are very, very influenced by them, no doubt. Rhapsody are, in my mind, as influential to Symphonic metal as Nightwish. But due to name change, and the band splitting in two (and perhaps also because of the fantasy related lyrics) they are nowhere near the popularity of Nightwish today. Which is undeserved considering the music they made and continue to make (Luca Turilli). Suggestions would be "Emerald Sword", "Unholy Warcry", "Holy Thunderforce", "Dawn of Victory" or "Reign of Terror". Unfortunately, not a lot of official videos though so you would possibly have to go for a fan video or just the audio track.
Wow, that intro was awesome! Really nice and epic, the lead singer is also pretty solid, thanks for the reaction! This sure is a band to check out too! Same as this one! DALRIADA - Hajdútánc
On the last track from Origine "The Great Divide" about 11:27 in is my favorite few seconds of the whole album, i listened the whole album through and was like those few seconds are just musicial nivarna 😁 thanks for taking a listen Tank great review and keep up the hard work man!
Dude, Claudio's playing is amazing. I bought some of his courses recently and I have to say it's some of the most melodic and technical playing I've tried to learn in a while. He's a very balanced player. Great song!
So many things I love about this video! The ending was epic! Pyrotechnics were epic! Everything else was also epic! 😂 (Must have been tough to shoot outside in the cold though.) I want to listen to all their other stuff now :) Seeing your reaction to this, I'm sure you'll love Scardust! Symphonic metal band, fronted by the amazingly talented Noa Gruman, and equipped with 4 other talented musicians and a demonic choir. Their song Tantibus II is one of my favorites :) (AND they have a new album coming out in a couple of days!)
Great, very educative reaction. This band is so cool. Your Dad has really good music taste. I'm curious about this pirotechnic gel (gloves), I need read about it more. Thank You Tank.
Hey Tank, if you wanna, check out "Seventh Wonder" they're a symph/prog band from Sweden and the original band of Tommy Karevik. My fav song of theirs is "Alley Cat" :) Sick basswork on that song to :D
Ancient Bards is one of my absolute favorite bands, and I am so happy to see a reaction channel go for them! I first heard them with the first single from their second album (song was “To The Master of Darkness”, and you should check out the video [keytar solo, bass solo, guitar solos]). Since then, this is the band I listen to when I want to be in a good mood. The amazing part of it all is the material is actually telling a story. And it’s quite an amazing fantasy tale. This is the first single from their 4th album, and it is also the only time I donated to an indiegogo and I can’t say enough good things about them. Please enjoy, and, don’t stop. This band deserves everything they get...I cannot state how much I love them!
Hey Tank, Ancient Bards are a freakin great big batch of talent !!! I like everything they have done. I agree, I don't listen to them all of the time but when I do.... it's rockin pretty loud. Great reaction Tank !!!! See you tomorrow for more Nightwish. Have a great night🤘🤘🤘🤘😁🤘
I was a pro wrestler in the mid-oughts and one of the guys I trained with became a professional stuntman. He specialized/specializes in pyro gel effects and worked on a number of Canadian-made features!
I have been following this band since their beginnings! They are awesome!! If you like them please do a reaction to their song ( To the masters- of Darkness) One hell of a powerful upbeat symphonic power metal song!
Man, this is great! I really appreciate what you do, especially because you help give a little more notoriety and appreciation to bands that honestly deserve a lot more. Please, keep it up! P.S. Other italian bands worth a listen: 1 - Furor Gallico (Folk metal) 2 - Fleshgod Apocalypse (Symphonic death metal) 3 - Ade (Death metal, inspired by ancient Rome history and folklore)
Lol listing to you explain my esp in detail as i look at it to insure your right was hilarious to me Great work tank never heard this band and i will for sure check them out!!
When I first heard Poet and the Pendulum I thought it Nightwish's best song. Then came Greatest Show on Earth and I thought that the best. Of course my first was Ghost Love Score which blew me away! I have vacillated between the three songs as to which is best-I still can't name a favorite. and vacillate between the three. Your reaction was emotional, as it should have been. The band touches an emotional center in me that is very deep and II thought your reaction mirrored mine-it was deeply honest, laid out for the world to see. I'm glad you, Chase , Julia Nilon and Charismatic Voice bring us such wonderful reactions for the rest of us to live through and appreciate. I love your technical knowledge which brings a further understanding of the band not found elsewhere. You are to be congratulated for your work!!!
I mentioned Seventh Wonder in a comment earlier today, but failed to mention a song. It’s hard to find good quality live performances, but here’s the link to their official video (instruments are visible) for "Tiara’s Song (Farewell, PT. 1)" off of their excellent concept album, their most recent, Tiara... ruclips.net/video/Raz0TKEox6A/видео.html I think you’d enjoy the band. Also, whether you react to them or not, I hope you give the song a listen just because you eat, sleep, & breathe music. Having that level of love for music will make it impossible to miss or not appreciate the mastery each of these men has over his instrument & how cohesive they are as a band. Yeah Tommy has a GREAT voice but he’s not the single star of the show. These guys... this band is SO good! It’s sort of like spending time discovering & enjoying ReVamp (Floor’s last band) after having fallen in love withy Floor-era Nightwish.
I suggest you should try Van Canto. Remember how you once had a video with a phrase "No Singer Needed"? Well, how about not needing other things for Metal band? I suspect you will like looking into them for facts/other vids, especially for guessing the gear used.
Oh man, I'm in love! Letizia Fabbri will haunt my dreams from now! And scare the bejeezus out of me for being blue and swinging a bastard (of a) sword. The band itself is awesome too, that bass solo is just other worldly.
Yis! These guys are fantastic. It's interesting to see how things have evolved for them. They've got a few videos up from the 1st trilogy of the Saga up here on RUclips that are damn good. Including a couple official live videos. I'm going to recommend Through My Veins.
Probably because of the cheesy Power Metal name. When I hear this name, I think "oh, just another cookie cutter cheesy Power Metal band". What I hear instead is amazing "we come from the school of Rhapsody" epic Symphonic Power Metal. Goes to show, you can't judge a band by it's name alone. You think I would have learned that by now, being a long fan of a band that goes by the name of Iced Earth.
Wow! A first time listen for me. Sara’s voice is so powerful; AND it’s a perfect blend of Britany Slays (Unleash the Archers), and Charlotte Wessels (Delian).
Amazing reaction as always. Been looking forward to this reaction all day, and really thought you would really like this band and song :) . As I said yesterday, if you want to continue on the Italian band train, I can highly recommend Frozen Crown, songs; I am the tyrant or Everwinter to start off
Hey tank, another new artist for me that I am adding to a playlist. I loved your explanation about the pyrotechnics, especially the the gel and how some people can't do the stunts because how being on fire effects them mentally. That was really interesting. Like always, your gear facts were cool and insightful. i have learned alot about musical gear from your reactions. Thanks, have a great one Tank!
Tank, I can't express how much I love everything about your videos, and your knowledge of gear keeps blowing my mind. You're awesome, and your Tank Facts are a treat I look forward to eagerly; keep them coming! Would you be open to reacting to some South American bands? I have a couple I could suggest.
@@TankTheTech should I do it here, Patreon, or Discord? Just so I can send you the links without them getting lost. But the bands would be Steinkrug, Angra, Steel Rose, and Rata Blanca, among some others.
You should check out Monster in Me by Mors Principium Est. They just released a new album and it's amazing. Their guitarist Andy Gillion is a genius. He has a solo project as well which is definitely worth listening too. I'll also throw out anything by Wolfheart or Soilwork. I could go on but I'll stop.
Wow, a reaction I didn't expect, but I needed anyway. Italy has A LOT of outstanding metal bands, including this, one of my favourites ever, and it's cool you had listened to them. Ancient Bards are a worthy band. Talking about Italian bands, I highly recommend you Rhapsody Of Fire. When they began, they just were Rhapsody, and one of their best songs is Emerald Sword, for you to listen to it.
More Italian metal bands and I can't say I don't like it. Keep these reactions coming man, really like your videos. Suggestion: Skalmold (islandic metal)
My first time hearing this band and I love it. Going on my Spotify and adding them to my artist. That said, you should check out the band Rhapsody Of Fire. The band used to simply be called Rhapsody but were forced to change their name because of a copywrite/trademark dispute. Rather then fight it, they simply changed the name slightly. Anyhow, they are an Italian Symphonic Power Metal band that, while I'm not quite sure they are the first Symphonic Power Metal from Italy, they are the band that pretty much set the blueprint for Italian Symphonic Metal, which Ancient Bards clearly show that influence. Check out "RHAPSODY OF FIRE - Dawn Of Victory (2013) // Live // AFM Records"
Dear Tank, glad you appreciate my fellow italians! Next check Rhapsody - Emerald Sword... And don't forget Epica - Dancing in a Hurricane live at Zenith ;)
There's so many great power metal bands from Italy and they all have that distinct Italian power metal sound which is very reminiscent of Rhapsody of Fire. Speaking of which, I recommend checking out Last Resort ft. Fabio Lione from Rhapsody of Fire, though I don't think there's any videos of that song. Otherwise, you can't go wrong with Through my Veins.
Great reaction, and great song and band. I just came from a pretty intense gym session, wanted to relax watching your video on the couch and immediately the song started my foot started to wipp. Which is usually a good sign 😂. Never heard of this band and went straight to my play list.
Another amazing band this week, you're 2 for 2 so far. As someone else mentioned in the comment section...this band need more love & recognition, they're amazing. You should give "lord of the lost" or " mono inc" a try. They're not on the heavy side but there amazing as well. 👍😁
For more Ancient Bards, check out the video that was RUclips's suggestion to listen to after this: "Through my veins (live at Wacken)". Yet another show where I was in the crowd. ruclips.net/video/PMkQaa2V3PQ/видео.html
There must be something in the water in Italy, as that other "known-of" Italian band - Rhapsody of Fire - also go large with their Soviet-era style mass choir choruses.
It's "Rimini" :D And if you like great bassists, another phenomenal italian bassist is Leone Villani Conti from Trick or Treat. You can check them, they're awesome (the vocalist is one of the more Kiske-esque vocalists ever). They also made a "Saint Seiya" themed album (don't know if you're into anime) last year. This is a solo bass song: ruclips.net/video/wIP_Y5j4Axs/видео.html , but you can check everything from them! :D
ruclips.net/video/9o0imRANjm0/видео.html here is another one! Shiit Dude! This one is hot and I mean supernovahot! Jeez...again I´m from finland..we have Stratovarius,Sonata Arctica, Amorphis, Insomnium,Wintersun, Ensiferum...With these guys these guys are top of my list and I assume in your father´s list! :D
Tank, Rhapsody of Fire next, it's a must. Ignore the people that say they're cheesy, because that just demonstrates two things: they can't listen to instrumentals worth a damn and would probably call Sabaton cheesy if they weren't singing about real events. Emerald Sword ruclips.net/video/bW-R-xOdoGI/видео.html Dawn of Victory ruclips.net/video/rXlZZGrbEGU/видео.html official vid Lamento Heroico ruclips.net/video/P_pACvml8zs/видео.html

Even though this is their 4th album, it’s actually a prequel and a sequel

Since I've said the story of Origine, I feel like I should also relay the tale of their first trilogy of albums: The Alliance of Kings, The Soulless Child, and A New Dawn Ending.
So, we start in the first album: Alliance of the Kings
In Last World, there is an ancient artefact known as the Black Crystal Sword. The four monarchs are:
Daltor, King of the West, who wields the Silver Sword.
-----
Origine is very much a prequel to this original trilogy, and the trilogy that spawns from their latest album seems set up to be based on the creation of the White/Black Crystal Sword. And presumably, Lork is the evil force which was imprisoned in the sword.
@@gentlemanjester637 Fantastic explanation of the story man, great work!
This is the best part about watching reaction channels: sometimes I find really awesome new bands! These guys are definitely going in my playlist.
Tank, Great reaction these guys deserve some more recognition it was nice seeing u a little bit baffled in the video
Thanks for letting me know it was the drummer.
This album (Origine) is a masterpiece in general. I HIGHLY recommend having a listen.
OMG! THANK YOU! Very underrated band, I love Ancient Bards!
Love your reactions, analyses and tank facts man, keep it up!
Totally seconding any and all suggestions for Brothers of Metal.
Yeah, totally agree with you - Fabio Lione is one of the greatest metal singers too.
Love Ancient Bards! So exciting to see them getting some action!! 🙌🏻
Wow, that intro was awesome! Really nice and epic, the lead singer is also pretty solid, thanks for the reaction! This sure is a band to check out too!
Same as this one! DALRIADA - Hajdútánc
Owwwwww I saw that coming after yesterday's video! Great choice, great band, great guys. And Sara is a phenomenal singer..
My top 3 from Italy power metal with orchestra.
1 Rhapsody (of Fire) 1993
2 Thy Majesty 1999
3 Ancient Bards 2006
😂 (Must have been tough to shoot outside in the cold though.) I want to listen to all their other stuff now :)
Seeing your reaction to this, I'm sure you'll love Scardust!
My fav song of theirs is "Alley Cat" :)
Sick basswork on that song to :D
I’ve recommended that band before on here some second this. Hopefully if your comment gets enough likes, Tank will give them a listen.
Or "Hide & Seek". Another great song!
Hellz ya! Beautiful from beginning to end! Loved it! Keep rockin’ it out! ❤️🤘🏻
Gods bless your father...he exposes me to good stuff i never heard of.🥰
A Lebanese band just released a cover of a Lebanese song tribute to those who died in the devastating Beirut explosion. Check Kimaera - Ya Beirut.
P.S. Other italian bands worth a listen:
1 - Furor Gallico (Folk metal)
2 - Fleshgod Apocalypse (Symphonic death metal)
3 - Ade (Death metal, inspired by ancient Rome history and folklore)
Woo hoo!
I LOVE Ancient Bards.
So good.
Lol listing to you explain my esp in detail as i look at it to insure your right was hilarious to me Great work tank never heard this band and i will for sure check them out!!
WOHO
Yay! They deserve all the attention!
I mentioned Seventh Wonder in a comment earlier today, but failed to mention a song. It’s hard to find good quality live performances, but here’s the link to their official video (instruments are visible) for "Tiara’s Song (Farewell, PT. 1)" off of their excellent concept album, their most recent, Tiara...
ruclips.net/video/Raz0TKEox6A/видео.html
I think you’d enjoy the band.
Love your reactions. Also, I really enjoy seeing Walk Off the Earth’s first album cover on your wall.
Kontrust - Butterfly Defect (live from Woodstock poland) or Sock n Doll (official video is one of the most oddest and greatest videos ever)
Or Bomba. First without sound. :P
Kontrust is a riot.
Highly recommended.
I suggest you should try Van Canto. Remember how you once had a video with a phrase "No Singer Needed"? Well, how about not needing other things for Metal band? I suspect you will like looking into them for facts/other vids, especially for guessing the gear used.
Never heard of them. They sound amazing!!!
Oh man, I'm in love! Letizia Fabbri will haunt my dreams from now! And scare the bejeezus out of me for being blue and swinging a bastard (of a) sword. The band itself is awesome too, that bass solo is just other worldly.
Oh and for Live performances, I was waiting for you to click on "Ancient Bards - Through My Veins - Live at Wacken Open Air 2015" as it was loading
You get a solo. You get a solo. Everyone gets a solo
Sorry...just realized I mis-posted this.
Awww yeah! Ancient Bards is so EPIC! I can't wait to see your reactions to more songs from them!
Yis! These guys are fantastic. It's interesting to see how things have evolved for them. They've got a few videos up from the 1st trilogy of the Saga up here on RUclips that are damn good. Including a couple official live videos. I'm going to recommend Through My Veins.
How on Earth is it possible that I don’t know this band ! 😨 they are AMAZING 😱
Hey Tank, I just saw you're reaction to ayreon- the day the world breaks down. I think you like this one as well. Ayreon- the eye of ra (live)
Wow! A first time listen for me. Sara’s voice is so powerful; AND it’s a perfect blend of Britany Slays (Unleash the Archers), and Charlotte Wessels (Delian).
i would not want to meet this lady in a dark alley this song killer
Hi Tank, one of my favorite songs and a nice one to react to might be Miles&Miles by Neverland in Ashes and I think that you are gonna love it😉
Great band! Sarah Squadrani is amazing. Thanks for yours reactions
Suggest away! South America has yet to grace my channel!
@@TankTheTech should I do it here, Patreon, or Discord? Just so I can send you the links without them getting lost. But the bands would be Steinkrug, Angra, Steel Rose, and Rata Blanca, among some others.
Angra - Rebirth or Carry on is a must!
He should also check Shaman - Fairy Tale live São Paulo
Both are brazilians bands
@@TankTheTech Hibria - Tiger Punch
The Italians have a thing for epic symphonic metal, but are also well known for doom haha
That was great. I was 100% unfamiliar with them.
Gonna bug you some more : battle beast, brothers of metal, trees of Eternity.
Greece loves power matal !!!!! And this song is one of their best!!!!!!
one of the most underrated band in the scene... they have a lot of good songs... 🤘
New band again, thank you🤘
Your Dad is so cool for recommending this to you!
I already love this band with just one song! never heard of them before
thank you for bring it on \m/
oh, the daily fix is here!! Thank ye Tank! have a good one!
Yes yes YES! I've seen them live at the premiere concert of this album, amazing band 💙
I really like Sara's voice and singing style
Never heard of this band and went straight to my play list.
the second excellent recommendation by your father. top!
I was 100% expecting another Napalm Records opening to this video.
Also i looove the pics with your dad. so amazing. Loe them pyro analysis
You should check out Afterlife by Metalite. Not sure how to best describe their style (electro metal?), but I think you'd really enjoy them
Solstafir will be nice to react
Especially Laegnetti, but all songs are nice of them
Seventh Wonder - The Great Escape
There must be something in the water in Italy, as that other "known-of" Italian band - Rhapsody of Fire - also go large with their Soviet-era style mass choir choruses.
Rhapsody/Rhapsody of Fire (Technically the same band but not) is another great power metal fantasy themed band! Defiantly worth a look!
Ooooh! Federico Gatti again 😎🤘 Cant wait now!!! 🤘
Tank! Plz Showdown! you got to see it
As always a great reaction🤘🏻Would love some more Gojira, especially Pray live at Red Rocks!
ORDEN OGAN - Gunman, I think you would like it. Idk if you ever heard of em.
Discovered them last year. Good stuff.
You should react to GORMATHON. Any song.
Anyone else getting totaly oldschool RHAPSODY (of Fire) vibes from this? Love it! :O
Dude...again Your dad is the best! Italic Power metal is very best and I`m from Finland! Where they find this singers...My god
ruclips.net/video/9o0imRANjm0/видео.html here is another one! Shiit Dude! This one is hot and I mean supernovahot! Jeez...again I´m from finland..we have Stratovarius,Sonata Arctica, Amorphis, Insomnium,Wintersun, Ensiferum...With these guys these guys are top of my list and I assume in your father´s list! :D
I love the fcking solo too!!! Fck me running that bass player is an animal
Yeah, that was pretty good.
That was good. And I know why dad picked it. He wanted to make you look shit up. :)
Tank, Rhapsody of Fire next, it's a must. Ignore the people that say they're cheesy, because that just demonstrates two things: they can't listen to instrumentals worth a damn and would probably call Sabaton cheesy if they weren't singing about real events.
Emerald Sword ruclips.net/video/bW-R-xOdoGI/видео.html
Dawn of Victory ruclips.net/video/rXlZZGrbEGU/видео.html official vid
Lamento Heroico ruclips.net/video/P_pACvml8zs/видео.html
Nice video Tank, just as always🤘🏻!
I'd love to see you react to CHAOS BEYOND - SPREAD YOUR WINGS
Greetings from Germany🤘🏻🇩🇪
Another awesome review. Adding this band to my list!
Please check out yousei teikoku! Live sets from 'pax vesania' are solid. Though at this point I am just repeating myself 🤣 Keep up the good work man. 👌👍
Been listening to these guys for some time now and love em. Can you try Battlelore or even Mortal Love. Two bands that rarely get any attention. Not sure if ML even exist anymore.
Wanna see cold, then Frozen Crown - Neverending
Frozen Crown?
@@andreaspedersen3952 yes you are right, so many bands got them mixed up. I'm correcting it
