- for today’s video, i wanted to show you guys the process of making these adorable DIY studio ghibli, disney, and sanrio plastic keychains since so many of you asked when i posted them on my instagram! most of you can probably find all the materials at home (if you choose to use plastic from food containers instead of shrinky dink paper as i did. but both are the same type of plastic! and resin is optional!) i hope you enjoy!

I need that totorooooo
Pull up to your oven at 625 degrees F basically welding in your kitchen
can i bake them all together in one tray? like i'll not bake them one at a time. ?
Isit ok to use the oven to bake food after you bake the plastic ?
@@rose.1369 yes, but since u have to press them down to make them flat FAST its easier to do it one by one
omg i had those shrink paper sets when i was younger and i baked them in our oven, i didn’t know that they were *supposed* to curl so i took them out when they were in the process of curling because i thought something went wrong 💀
Same kinda.

Im going to sketch some things and when i wake up im gonna make some cute charms!
aww thank you! i hope you’ll feel better soon 🥺
I can confirm it helps a LOT with anxiety im literally addicted to making them now its so calming😭
Yesss, I really want to do a charm of Josuke and Okuyasu 💕✨
@@stephanie.4885 DO IT 😼
If when you use coloring pencils to draw on the plastic but it's barley visible, try scratching the paper with sandpaper so its easier to color on.
Does any color pencils brand work?
This is so much fun to make. I did these a lot with my kids. Amazing how the shrinking works. We used a Shrink a Dink Machine if I recall correctly. That was a blast. So glad I saw this here 🦋👍🏻
Hi! I’m completely new and just discovered your channel with this video. Going through the comments and seeing how you respond to any questions asked is SO sweet and got me subscribing right away! Not many RUclipsrs take the time to do it, so thank you!! ❤️
aww that means so much! thank you!! 😭💞
Me too.
Thank you for this!! I didn’t know you could use colored pencils for shrinky dinks.
Also a suggestion, I make Uv resin items and if you don’t want bubbles you could spray a little bit of alcohol (from 70% to 90% it doesn’t matter) to remove them or use a little bit of heat too(not too much because it can turn them yellow). Do this before curing them. Hope it helps!
Michael Scott is there an alternative to uv resin? thank you! :)

If we use the oven for baking the plastic, is it save to bake some cakes or any other foods after?
the temperature would need to be like 400 degrees higher for it to release any toxins, so yes it is safe! i would just try to leave the oven open for a little while for it to air out though
@@hoosnotes ah, thank you for your information 😊
Plum Milk if I were to leave them out where I live it’d probably finish in a minute!!😂😂
If you dont have oven.. just use your mom's pan 😆😆
I have done it, and its work. just watch this ruclips.net/video/mqMzmWar1YE/видео.html
Lmfaoo, my friend's birthday's near, gonna do this as a present but with the most epic selfie she had lol.
Thanks for this video! I've been watching it several times a day for a few days because it's just so cute and cheerful lol. Bought some plastic to try, it just arrived yesterday! So excited to try it out! :D
aww thank you! have fun hahah
@@hoosnotes the first time i made one, i was soooo excited to watch the magic happen! And then I realized my oven was too dirty. 😱 Thanks for keeping your oven clean? 😂
this is the cutest thing EVER 🤩🤩 i am so in love with this, i will 100% be trying it!!
I love how you explained everything. It was so informative but also precise and clear. I wish more RUclips channel videos were like yours. The charms look really pretty too.
im so happy to hear that! thank youu💕
I’ve also used acrylic paint before it works fine as long as you don’t add to many layers of paint!

i used to make these in kindergarten with the shrinky dink kit thing, it was so fun. i’m glad to know people are still doing this! :D
this video inspired me, maybe i’ll make some again this week!
This is so cute!!! My friend did this in high school with our salad containers and I was like ??? but now I’m like omg why didn’t I do it at the same time like her! Can’t wait to get my supplies in the mail :)
I don't know why this video made me cry, it's just so cute.
You might need therapy lol 😂🤣
After watching I immediately went to amazon and bought a kit! So far it’s coming out good, I just haven’t been drawing them big enough. And the kit I got was only $18! I loved the video btw! 🥰🥰
aww thank you so much! 🥺💗
Hey! Is there an actual kit ??
Liliana Velasco Yes!! I bought the TUPARKA shrinky dink set which was less than $14 on amazon! Once you use up all the plastic you can use the product hoo was using this vid as a refill!! 💜💜 I recommend using crayola products since I’ve gotten good results from it.
The shrink plastic I ordered from Amazon just came I'm so excited to try this out ⭐💜
Aww that is so cute. Now I want to learn to do my own 🥰
this was such a cute video!! the charms turned out awesome!!! :)
aww thank you so much!
so cute! i've seen shrinky dinks turned into pins; charms are a great idea too
My problem isn't coloring or drawing but shrinking the damn thing!😂 You have to be the flash after baking them so they don't get a weird shape afterwards.😩
I’m going to use a gray gun I don’t trust toxic stuff in a place I hear my food in
The charms were so cute, I love them!!!!
Kind regards,
Starry Days 🌟
aww thank you!! 💗
Thank you for this video! I got into making these charms but I was looking for a tutorial to make them look more professional looking! Yours look so adorable! 💜
You def have the best video out there for this. Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you for sharing.
I didn't even realize there was Modge Podge spray. I've probably seen it and my eyes skipped right over it 🤯
I’d never heard of shrink plastic charms before! Definitely going to try these. Thank you so much for the clear and informative video! 💕
This is by far the best video tutorial for shrinkydink, i have seen. Your arts are so adorably cute. I will try to attempt to make them someday.😊. Thanks for the vid.
Wow I knew nothing about this. Didn’t know you could make this. Thanks for sharing
I made a bunch of these using food containers and sharpies. Not as soft looking. The markers are very solid colors
Who, what, where and why would anyone thumbs down this! It's amazing and adorable.....love this. Thanks for sharing💕
This video got recommended to me and I’m actually trying this for the first time ☺️ thanks for sharing!
Thanks for sharing.. great video.. They looked perfect. And just with colour pencils

I love the touch of glitter that you added. now i wanna make some lol
aahh they turned out so cute and nice in the end!
thank you so much!! 💞
thank you for sharing this!! I was wondering how to seal the charms once they shrink 🥰
hi! there are 3 ways!
1. you can use glue but it will NOT be waterproof :(
2. you can use resin but it is a little pricey but it is waterproof!
3. you can use nail polish which i recently discovered! it is waterproof and cheap!
OMG!!! Those are soo adorable charms!! Totoro is love....😊😊😊😊😊😊
This was a fantastic tutorial and the charms turned out so pretty! Also it blew my mind when you set the uv resin in the sun because I only ever see people use a uv light 🤯
i just made some a while ago and it completely fAILED hcjdjdfh so i came here to feel better about it lmao, these are so cute 💕💕
These look so pretty 😁
Channel name went perfect with the vids title, can't wait to binge all ur videos 💕💕
It worked great! Thank you!
Aaaa that is so cute!! Im really inspired to make some charms too now.
These are sooooo cute! Can’t wait to try it! Thanks ♥️
yay you should definitely try it! they were so fun to make ☺️ thank you for watching!!
Omg I love making these like for the past idk long time this is all I do
Great video! You are an amazing artist!!! Everything looks so perfect! I love your attention to details. Would it be possible to replace the resin with something easier to use... Like clear nail polish and than spray another layer of mod podge to seal it? Resin is soooo scary and takes a lot of room to store everting separated, it's so hard to keep up with measurements... OMG a lot could go wrong...
ah. nail polish should work but it may turn yellow over time! mod podge works really well though, but i just liked how resin makes everything look super shiny hahaha
You need to do with how many centimeters in average to become the size of an earring or necklace pendant?
i think 4-5cm would be the best for jewelry! but of course that depends on what you want 💗
aaaaa I’ve been waiting for this!!! so cute hdjfjekekkk 😭😭❤️
LSLASJDJSNS THANK YOUUU
Omg they look great you made it look so easy and educational love it thank you ❤️
aghhhh! these are so so adorable 🥺🥺
thank you so much!!
When you dont have these sheink stuff at home:
There’s an alternative :D You could use clear plastic packaging that they package sushi/etc with. It must say the number *6* though if not it won’t work
❤️
@@nopenope-vu7dn what the heck. that's really cool
yeah. just number 6 plastic. Thats the only kind that works
dont worry!! You could do the same thing, except of the color pencils you could use a sharpy, and for the plastic you can find a piece plastic that has “♻️” with a number 6 in the middle
my problem is that I don't have any microwave or oven😔
i havent watched it yet but it loooks sooo good ✨🥰😩
aww thank you! 💗
OMG 😱 I remember this from when I was a kid!!!
WOOO SHRINKY DINKS i love ittt

They turned out so adorable, I am definitely gonna make some. Thank you for the tutorial I absolutely loved the video and congrats on opening your sticker shop soon.
yay! they were so fun to make ☺️and thank you so much!! 💗💗

Please wear glowes when you use resin
Oh my God this is so cute and such a sweet ideia , thank you for making the video for us 😘 this would be great as keychains

If ur asking what type of plastic u need for this if u cant afford or find a kit! Then the plastic type u need is number 6 cause the others have a risk to burn, some sushi plastic opening is number 6 btw :)
Hello, it’s really pretty. You’re good at it
This is so precious!!!
aaaaah i’ve been waiting for this tutorial 😩
aww thank you so much for your support! 💗🙈
liking and subscribing also because of winnie the pooh! I love pooh and it’s sad that I rarely see them when people talk about cartoon characters 💕
I LOVE THE POOH ONE OMG
Oh they are so cute 💕
aah thank you!
Is there an alternative to UV resin that can still give the "shiny" look on the charms?
mod podge would work, but it definitely won’t be as shiny as resin. you could also use normal resin that cures when exposed to air though 😁
@@hoosnotes I can't use resin at home so I might try mod podge instead, thank you!!
Top coat nail polish??
Clear nail polish!
Careful with nail polish, be sure to seal your work before putting nail polish because it will destroy your art if you don't, especially if you used marker or other pen for the lineart (that's my experience) coloured pencil maybe okay but still, I would use modern podge first to seal it
Your hand is so beautifull >
Omg the colour pencils is so nice .. so pastel 💕💕💕
They are so cute! Hopefully I will be able to make some soon!
They're so pretty 🌸✨🌸!
