- Here is my iLife v5s Pro robot vacuum cleaner review and experience after 1 year of use. There are some things that continue to work very well with the robot vacuum cleaner and some requirements which I need which are not available in the iLife v5s pro - like saving maps, a larger bin size or self cleaning robot, no go zones and so on. I will also cover the robot vacuum cleaners that I may buy if I were to purchase one today.

How does it clean as we have doors on every room. So obviously it'll leave the space behind door. Also door mats in each room. How do you tackle this problem

Another useful video! Mopping for me is essential as I have pets and kids. I am considering the viomi v3 over the milagrow i10 as it has the option of a full water tank 550 ml or a full 550ml dry mop as well as a hybrid bin. Sounds convenient. I am just waiting till they have spares and accessories available.
Hi! That's a great choice at around 40k range. Good battery life and good specs too. I agree on the spares and accessories - its not yet available, but it's serviced by the same vendor who services 360 and Trifo - so I expect it to come soon.
I have been using this robot since Jan 2021.
I wet the mopping cloth squeeze it and attach it with the vaccum bin in it. So both vaccum and mopping gets done at the same time. But cloth needs to be cleaned and reattached after every room.
So far not faced any issues .

hi Saumya, Great videos. Thanks!. I am considering to get either eufy robovac G10 or Mi robot vaccum mop P. The Mi robot seems to have better reviews on flipkart 4.3. But Eufy g10 has a 4.1 which is not too bad. Also it makes less noise. I am leaning towards Mi Mop P based on reviews, Mi after sales service , 3200mAh battery and your recommendation but would love to hear your thoughts on why the eufy G10 was not in your top 3.
Hi Sudhir - Eufy the biggest challenge is the after sales service and spares availability . That’s the main reason it does not feature in my top recos. Product wise - it is great internationally.

After watching your videos, I wanted to go for Milagrow Redhawk, but it is unavailable now. The next model in Milagrow, IMAP 10 is very expensive. What other brand and model would you suggest?
Hi Manjusha - you can consider thr MI vacuum mop p or Viomi SE. iLife I would have recommended but its out of stock.
Some robo vaccum cleaner has single brush. Howz the working efficiency if compared with those having dual brush.

hi i have wooden transition from tile to wooden floor. About 2-3 cm height. i am worried if the robo will be able to cross them with mop attached. my budget is 30k and house is 2000sqft. kindly advice aq good model or i have selected mi mop n vac, viomi se or eureka forbes.
Hi Namrata, I believe upto 2 cm it can cross - as per MI's specifications. I have the same setup where there is a transition from tile to wooden flooring, it's about a cm (I think I show that in this video). I use an older model (iLife v5sPro) which has lower suction than the MI and Viomi but even that is able to cross.
Another query, does the cleaning time vary too much from model to model or is it more or less the same (say 10 mins here and there). Say cleaning time of MI vs your model. I understand you haven't used MI though.
Hi Jatin, some of the newer models (like the Milagrow iMAP 10 galaxy) claim lower sweeping time - because of efficiencies in patterned cleaning. I think this will be the case with most newer models which follow a specific pattern for cleaning and map the house

Hi! The power consumption by robot vacuum is negligible. It has a power rating of about 30-40W, and if charging takes about 4 hours, max power consumption will be 120-160W. As a comparison for your reference - a ceiling fan takes about 60-70W.

Along with the drawbacks of Robo vaccum cleaner that you mentioned, what I feel is that, we sanitize our floors using Lizol etc.., which is not possible in Robo vaccum cleaner. The manual advices not to add any such disinfectant liquid in it. So i feel that the robo vaccum cleaner does not sanitize the floor.

Hi Fritze, sorry for delay in response. No - I don't see significant change in bill.
All the features you mention were the ones i looked and opted for MI mop P. It is performing well. No go zones, mapping and recharge and resume functions are really a blessing.
I think if you switch, you should try milagrow imap as it does pressure cleaning.
Is pressure cleaning helpful, i am not aware of. Can you please let us know..what this pressure mopping is all about, can it remove stains efficiently???

Yeah Milagrow is a good one - have to budget for it as it is expensive 😁 the pressure cleaning would work for stubborn stains. Think about it like you would press and clean for stubborn stains.

Hi, Saumya watching your videos I bought Trifo max recently and doing fairly well to the price with set of pros n cons. After a year long usage did you changed any of the accessories like the side brush or filter?? ..... it'll guide us to the additional charges or so called maintenance expenses. Thank you 🙏.
Hi Suvarnarekha! So for my robot vacuum, I have changed the filter twice- it costs about 300 each time. I have not changed the brush yet but we were given a spare in the kit when purchased. My parents use a Eufy and they changed their brush - but only brush was not available- so they bought full set of brush, filter and fans - costing about 1500. That was after a year too. Hope this helps!

I have Roomba iRobot it cleans well my only issue is if you lift it and bring it to other rooms it cant find its way back home
Hi Ali, thanks for sharing your feedback on the Roomba! I have the same issue - normally if the vacuum cannot remember the map and where the dock is located - it will not be able to find it's way back, especially when it is too far from the dock

Hi Manish, I have only researched so far until a 40k range. Amongst that - I feel the Milagrow iMap 10 Galaxy version is good. Beyond that - I have not done in-depth research yet and plan to do so in the coming weeks

After some research I liked - Ilife 9as, Viomi se, Ecovacs ozmo 950 and Viomi v3. There are no reviews of Viomi v3 in Amazon ans se just has 3 reviews. Also Ilife 9as is out of stock. Do you think Viomi se is good choice and budget friendly as well ? Thanks
Hi Mrinal - from a product spec - Viomi is a good choice except for the bin size (it does both sweeping and mopping together so smaller bin size). Also service network is not validated- but it is done by a vendor who manages trifo and 360 - should be ok. Spares are not yet available.
You may also want to consider MI robot vacuum mop P.

Hi Mrinal - MI has a 550 ml bin and a separate bin that allows both sweeping and mopping. This is good enough in my opinion. The robot vacuum cleans so well that in general everyday mopping is not essential.
Ilife A10s and Milagrow redhawk were my other options - but both are out of stock.
If you don’t get any of these - you can consider the Viomi - with the caveats that I mentioned in my previous comment.
I hope you get one soon, as I know how painful it can be in lockdown.
I have not researched the Viomi v3, but did a quick check now - the specs are good - you can consider that too. The caveats of support and spares are same as what I mentioned in my previous comment.

Hi Saumya, I'm end u suggest Milagrow IMAP 10 as one of the choice if u had to make today. But Milagrow had vacuum n mop together functionality which u said is something you wudnt prefer. I'm looking for something with good mopping. What wud u recommend within the price range of 40k?
Hi! Milagrow imap 10 galaxy is good with mopping - I do prefer mopping but it is not essential as the sweeping is so good. If you want self cleaning robot - and can go slightly above 40k, you can consider a Viomi S9. I’ll be making a recommendation on self cleaning robots soon - in the next week or 2 as well.
A quick question on these. Can we add disinfectant or something like lizol mixed with water to clean?
Hi Dharini, manufacturers say no. I have tried with Lizol, works fine. Since the water does not go into the machine, should be ok. But make sure you check with manufacturer so warranty will not be void.

Bought ILIFE V5s Pro Robot Vacuum Cleaner last month from amazon & it stopped working now. Though warranty is mentioned for a year but Customer care of Ilife is pathetic & not responding, anyone can suggest on how to get this faulty machine replaced.
Hi Mr Singla, like I already mentioned in your previous comment - sorry to hear that. I have been using iLife v5s Pro since last year April and I have had no issues.
Is your battery dead? In that case, I recommend you purchase the battery separately. We recently bought battery from here amzn.to/3q4oLMZ for my parents Eufy and this seller was quite helpful in identifying and sending the right battery.
I second on this, bought ILIFE V5s Vacuum Cleaner last month & it started working intermittently, had a feel that it will be dead in next few weeks. As mentioned, customer care of ILife is useless & don’t respond. Even checked with amazon, they also sound helpless.
Motherboard of ILIFE Vacuum Cleaner bought two months ago got corrupted. There is no customer care in ILife, when complained about motherboard damaged, they talk about charging, absolute waste. 18k went into drain.
Taking cues from positive feedback on youtube, bought this ILIFE V5s Pro Robot Vacuum Cleaner this year & it stopped working in less than 6 months with no response from seller on warranty & repair.
Hi Jyoti, sorry to hear that. none of the reviews are paid here and if ever will be, it will be disclosed. It is my experience as I’m also using the iLife v5s pro, now for over 1.5 years and have not had an issue yet about it. Robot vacuums are a new product in India and after sales is not yet validated for a lot of brands. Wherever that detail is available, esp when bad it is shared as is.

I find a10s to be a loaded with specs but it’s UI experience in app scares me; saw few other reviews of it and made me think that even with all the sensors, a10s would just get lost or just sit somewhere waiting. With all that being said, I still wish I’m wrong and you would suggest me to go for a10s

@@TheGrapevineIndia I have a 1500 sqft to clean on daily basis. Both mopping and vacuum are equally important as I have a toddler. For my budget of 40k; I find a10s to be too good to be true. But all review videos of a10 in RUclips shows that UI is very frustrating and the vacuum navigation is not accurate even within the stored maps. Like you mentioned in your videos I think 360 s7 is the next best thing as galaxy is not available currently.
I’m also worried that if I’m stretching my budget unnecessarily by going with s7 rather than going for mi mop.

Hi Harsha, got it! an alternative to consider is Viomi v3 or S9 (amzn.to/3fRI9Io Or amzn.to/3hsXVfg . S9 may be slightly beyond your budget but the benefit is that it has auto cleaning which I find highly useful. Both have been purchased by viewers of this channel and are very happy. Hope this helps!

hi sowmya........milagrow imap10 has only 450ml dustbin and 200ml water tank which is small i think and mi mop p also water tank is very small ....i think 80ml? how much is the water tank in ilife a10? what about viomi se which you reviewed..i think in price its same as mi mop p but small 300 ml dustbin and 200 ml water tank.......any other options u can think of? mi mop p was sold for 17999-19999 before but now its 25k :(
Mi mop p also has 200ml water tank and that works good as you have several control over water level in the app.

Hi Pallavi - the 18-20k earlier was their introductory price. I think it is still lot pf value at 25k. Yes the tank is 200ml and I believe serves dual purpose.

I bought this ILIFE V5s Pro Robot Vacuum Cleaner in March 2021 from amazon & it is dead in less than 3 months. Seller is not responding & ILIFE customer care is not bothered to respond.

I think robot vaccum should come with remote if there are multiple users at home. Remote make life much easier as compare to mobile app in some situations.

Hi Jatin - marble floor is also ok. Any flat smooth surface, carpeted surface can be cleaned. For carpeted - I believe it will not be as indepth cleaning as a full blown vacuum- but it will suffice for daily cleaning.

Hi Saumya, I have a guess regarding why your vacuum cleaner may now be struggling to go past small bumps to reach a different kind of floor area. Most robotic vaccum cleaners would have wheels that are made of rubber or some similar material. If by repeated usage, the wheels have become a bit smooth, they are likely to slip and hence the robot will not be able to clear those bumps easily. It needs to have that rough surface to have the better grip to the floor. So in my opinion, it may not have anything to do with the power. But then this is just a guess. the company technical teams may explain it better.

I'm now waiting to see how long my Alfred (name I've given the robot :D) serves me - and when I can buy a smart one. Knowing me - I'll get the most of this before I buy a new one😂

Hi Mitsu, I definitely think it can be alternative for a maid. I haven’t had a maid for over 1 year since lockdown last year. It does mop well - but takes long time. I normally only get the sweeping done everyday and mopping once or twice a week only. Sweeping is so good that mopping may not be required everyday.

After watching ur video and review i ordered milagrow i10 galaxy.. It was showing 19 k on amazon on 28th june.. I wanted to gift it to my mom so i had purchased it.. The seller was yashvi lifestyle..
I received the product yesterday and today i opened and to our surprise there was no vacumm cleaner only some taterred clothes put in the box and sent to us.. I raised the complaint and then i checked the milagrow site on which the same product shows 44000 , wgen i contacted the milagrow people they told me that this product is for 44k and there r a lot of fake products and dealers in market.. Who are doin this.. Plz guys be careful and if possible buy from the the direct dealers in ur city or from the authentic website.. V bad experience😔
