I bought one of these as mainly I'd like to have at least something in a worst case scenario where firearms are prohibited where I work. (I know, I know; 'don't bring a knife to a gun fight' but thanks to the infinite wisdom of our government we create 'gun free' zones that disarm the wrong people.) The fact that I'm a 'Dune' nerd also helped make me buy it as it does have a rather 'Dune' like aesthetic. (We'll have to wait on the electrostatic body shields that can only be pierced with a slowed strike.) Thanks for the tassel end recommendation that helps with the tiny grip. I just like how sleek and easy-to-wear it is.
Thank`s for this video man. I watched it after 4 years since it was uploaded. English is not my native language, but it`s so easy to understand what are you talking about, so now i definitely know that i want this one into my small collection. Have a nice day!
Zwordsman it's not bad until you hit serious resistance, then your hand does slide a bit. But you can give it a quick wrap of hockey tape to help with that. The blade is fairly easy to sharpen, but the blade is mostly designed for stabbing so it doesn't get shaving sharp.

And yes, I did eat the pork shoulder after the testing was done.
You have to make slashing vents for proper shoulder rub to penetrate the meat
@@terducken7575 exactly! And it turned out pretty damn tasty!
That's as american as boyonetting the vent holes in an apple pie. It adds character. And it adds to the overall deliciousness.
Nice review. I have to buy one
trcsonic thanks. Yeah, it's definitely a good one.
Being a big Dune movie/books fan... I kinda have to buy it just because of the name. lol
Another great video keep up the great work
+Macbushcraft Thanks very much. More videos are always coming (until I run out of money or sanity).
So is it made from a sandworm tooth Fremen style?
Snailled 84 I'm not sure, but I do occasionally hear it chanting Maud'Dib...
Made from the finest quality Chinesium I'm sure....Kershaw usually has decent steel though.
i think the blade is probably meant for piercing than slashing. create some space to get to my sidearm. ymmv
You're most likely right. It could also work as an off-hand weapon while using your sidearm.
Thanks for watching and thanks very much for commenting.
I wonder if that grip would slip while stabbing?
or if it was wet?
doesn't.. look the most grippy.
i wonder how hard that metal to sharpen

Its like a katana neck knife!
Sir Nicholas pretty much.
You destroyed the roast beast!! :/
And now I’m hungry.
