Talked my boss into getting us a thrunite for the field. He got the catapult V6 and everyome laughed at it until I turned it on at night. Their minds were blown! We have these big flashlights and they look like tiny pen lights compared to that catapult v6. With our big cranes telescoped all the way out it lights up the top like daylight. Our big flashlights barely light it up, if at all. I can only imagine what the pro does. I have an old TN35 I believe and that catapult v6 out shines it despite being alot smaller. These thrunite flashlights are damn good!
Agreed, thrunite makes some really good flashlights. Most of my favorites are thrunites. Thanks for checking out the video.

I lost my Catapult v6 and replaced it with Wowtac A4 v2. And recently ordered Catapult pro. While Catapult v6 outhrows A4 v2 your video shows that Pro clearly outthrows v6.
Pro is really an even more dedicated thrower with a smaller hotspot and I think A4 v2 will be a smaller more allround alternative to Catapult pro.
Thrunite are great flashlights and I have a lot of them both flooders and throwers.
I mostly use high mode on the throwers, which is just slightly less bright than turbomode. But you get longer stable output.
Where did you get the Wowtac A4 v2. I can't find them anymore in France.

but how long do these 2 last on high, in hours
Neither of them will run 1 hour on high.
Both of them are tested to 1,5+ hours on high at 1000+ lumen, according to 1 lumen review site.
do you think the pro is worth twice the price? or nearly twice? i just bought the v6 for $74
No I don't think the pro is worth twice the price. It just has a longer run time on turbo. The V6 is an awesome light and a little bit brighter. The V6 is a good choice.

An alternative is Wowtac A4 v2. Pretty close throw as v6 but cheaper and more compact.
I have as well A4 v2 and Catapult pro. Both highly recommended!
You tested the turbo on pro for 1 minute because it was too hot then you said you ran it for nine. The v6 was the only one that you ran for 9 minutes? ???????
why does the pro throw farther then the v6 v6 has more lumns
Is not all about the lumens when it comes to throw you want to look at the candela
The larger reflector concentrates the hotspot to more intense but instead smaller.

another review says turbo steps down 50% at 90 seconds. that's nowhere close to 9 minutes
Must have been using a depleted battery. I have this light and it's got good turbo run time....definitely longer than 90 seconds without step down...at least not visibly....after 2 minutes double click and no visible brightness change.
@@66marbor agree that turbo on the pro with a charge battery runs long than any turbo I have. The battery had to be low.
I'm hearing the pro overheats.
It doesn’t overheat it runs on turbo for close to 10 minutes. It definitely gets hotter than the V6 because of its capabilities of its runtime. The V6 which I also have along with the catapult pro hold its own on turbo just not as long as the pro. But to answer your question the pro definitely gets hotter than the V6.🔦
