Great explanation dudes!
hey Mark.
I was literally about to come and comment "CarAudioFabrication has entered the chat"
This video makes my day... In just over 5 minutes you explained one of the most unique AudioControl features that so many miss! Thank you D and F!
That's why I like this channel they explain real well. We'll done guy's
A lot of people mistake what that front high input is. They think they can control the chime and beep levels when using the factory speaker levels for input signals. Typically you cannot do this because the front left signal is where the chimes and beeps come from and the audio is mixed in with it so you cannot isolate the chime and beep sounds trying to control the volume levels on them. I am hoping Audiocontrol can somehow achieve this in the future but not hopeful. I talked to a tech at Audiocontrol about this for quite a while one day.
Great video guys thanks for the explanation.
Great show
Great explanation! Thank you.
How do you add the center channel speaker on to the front Hi on the AC D-4.800?
Thank you for sharing ~
Very nice! I'm looking at the new 5 channel audio control to power my GMC sierra. You guys should review some 8' subwoofers.
Would love to see real world setup of the audiocontrol d-6.1200.
Why would you take split high and mid range signals and then sum them and send the summed signal to a set of components? Aren't you going to need to feed that signal into a crossover anyway before going to the components? So at that point, you're just using the high end input to defeat whatever cross over is already and still being used in the factory set up, right? Seems like there should be a better way to get a better signal to the new components than this.
You could avoid this by using a 6 channel amp. This is for when you did not do that.
Seems that with the LC 4.800 you can't do this. The summing switch on the LC sums all channels so you can't sum just front high with front. You are stuck summing all channels including the rear. Wish I knew this prior to buying the LC
Can you please answer my question please I have a 2017 Ford Explorer with 8 inch touchscreen non Sony system I want to keep the factory radio what do get for good clean outputs for amps prefer 4 volt
