Hello all! The LC-5.1300 will start shipping February 1st. The most common use specs on the 5 channel amps are indeed 100w X 4 @ 4ohm and 500w X 1 @ 2ohm. Our plan is to release the D-5.1300 30-45 days after so you can expect them in the mid-March time frame.

Is the 5th channel a Full Frequency Range output, or limited bandwidth??? If limited, what is that bandwidth?

*At 2 Ohms* ALL channels combined put out a total of 1300 Watts. 4 x 200w @ 2 ohms (800w) + 1 x 500w @ 2 ohms.
And the JL Audio VXi DSP Amplifiers are extremely good. Can't really go wrong with them.

@ChrisBennet, this is great I've been using d6.1200s in bridged mode, as for dsp I'd switch to audiocontrol when yall get parametric eq, yours chips inside are capable of doing so why not just enable it?

I love AudioControl amplifiers. I have both the LC4.800 and the LC1.800
So glad that the 5 channel is out. The dual front channel inputs is awesome and capable of controlling the front highs and separating them from the front mids.

Hello i want to put audio system in my minivan but i'm not a stereo system installer. can someone tell me with this amp you can control sub, mid, and tweeters right .so far i just bought head unit. a Kenwood 4707s.
I'm trying to mount this or wondering if this will Mount to a JL audio amplifier rack that's underneath the seat of my Jeep JL and I can't get any information on the mounting holes measurements right to left in front to back is there any way you could tell me what those might be I know it's 12 in wide and it looks to me like there's maybe it's 11 and a half inches from hole to hole I don't know...

And I almost bought the D 4.800 and LC 1.800 last night. Glad I decided to sleep on it. Now I'll just wait for this to have you all install in my STi.
I have that exact setup and unless you really limited in where the amplifier can go, I would say the D-4.800 and LC-1.800 is the better option. It's only slightly bigger than this 5 channel would be, but you end up with more power and can change your setup as time goes on. The LC-1.800 at 4ohms puts out 500 watts, which is what the 5 channel does at 2ohms. The D-4.800 also puts out 125 watts at 4 ohms where the 5.1300 is 100 watts at 4ohms. By keeping the amps separate you can move up to the 6.1200 for 3way at any time, or you can go big with a 1.1500 for subs. But, this 5 channel has more power than most others and can simplify installs if that's what you need. I've been very happy with mine and my current build is using the LC-6.1200.
@@TickleFingers I'm only going to be running a single JL 10w6 so the 800w on the 1.800 is way over the recommended range.
@@kmpaton It may be over the recommendation, but you won't be hitting those numbers unless your really pushing it. I run a 12W6v3 sealed at 2ohms on the LC-1.800 and that's 200 watts above recommend and it's more than ok. It's still better to go bigger in my opinion if the cost is negligible. You'll find that you might want more at some point and you'll end up spending way more to accomplish that if your limited by a single amp. If you want more you'll have to replace the entire 5 channel if you don't have an output on the dsp version to add a larger mono amp. I used to be into 5 channels until my systems graduated to more complexity and sound quality. That's where the limitations are with a 5 channel. I've come to believe that the best option is to run a separate mono amp because most people will get the urge to change and it's much easier when youre already setup and wired for two amps. Buy once, cry once! Also wire up for more than what you need so that way you don't have to tear it all apart again to upgrade. Just run 0 gauge and be done with it.
I'd still go this route over this new amp. Much more sub amp power than this amp.
@@kmpaton after setting the gains you can turn it down. I run the 800.1 on my JL 12w6 and it’s amazing. Same power handling. No way is it overpowering the sub. I never match sub and amp. I always get an amp that can do a bit more. Easier on the amp by not having to max it out.

I knew they would get it out one of these days. I was hoping that it would have been a 5.1600, but 5.1300 is still more than most of the 5 channels out there now and you're actually going to get that power with efficiency, reliability, low noise and tunability for a reasonable price. Hopefully the D-5.1300 has an audio out so that you can add an amp for a 3way active setup if you wanted to upgrade at some point, or be able to upgrade to a more powerful mono amp so you can still use the DSP 4 channel portion and just defeat the internal 5th channel.

The LC-5.1300 will retail for $799-$899 USD. The D-5.1300 will retail for $1099-$1249 USD. None of our amplifiers are $1300.00, just FYI.
