My daughter and I got into shopping twice per week for nearly 5 years. I specially liked the seasonal items they were the best . Every year they had a different variety. I have both Christmas, Halloween decorations. I will treasure them forever. My mom use to say " The 99c has everything. ❤❤❤ The most holy Trinity bless the Gold family for such an amazing store. ❤❤❤
You are so right! I forgot about their Halloween items😭. I have a couple mugs and little nic nacs from the previous years but I regret not stopping by last years Halloween items. I have a bath mat, oven mitts, and a couple other halloween items from the 99❤️ I'm going to miss them😭😭😭
My daughter worked for block buster. My grandsons girlfriend worked at the 99c only store. I like the variety of candy they have the produce is the best❤ What a unique beautiful store. Even when the prices went slightly high it was steal a great shopping experience. Thank you so much Mr Gold for your amazing 99c only stores. The most holy Trinity bless you and keep you always amen 🕊️❤️🌟
The quality of 99 isn't the best but it helps me get by especially during this nasty inflation storm. Those who are not low income just don't understand. I'd love for them to live on a small budget for a year and experience what it's like

my friend just told me this, it's crazy to think. we never had them in ohio but whenever I lives in cali I would go often. they really are taking everything from us.
Very smart to go the day after you found out. I didn't go till yesterday and it was insane and I went to the smaller one. I had my list but then I didn't have it with me I was tired and the store was crowded and then there was fighting at the checkout and I think all the cashiers but one walked out..

OH NOOOOOOOOO!! I can't believe it!! The 99cent store was where we bought a lot of our staples when I lived in LA. I used to go with my mom when she was still alive every few weeks, she lived in North Hollywood. In 2022 hubby and I went back to LA and Glendale and I turned him onto the 99cent store and he has been forever hooked because there's NO dollar stores like the 99 cent store where you can buy almost every basic item that costs so much everywhere else! I just yelled to him in the other room that 99 cent store is closing and he's bummed now even though we don't live there now. Sigh, oh well.. 😥😢😭😭😭

This government doesn’t allow to have a successful business so many Stores closed by bankruptcy, it’s unbelievable..

I know! I'm so bummed. Its definitely the shift to online shopping like amazon, Temu, Shein etc. that caused this. I personally shop on Amazon about 3 times a year, and I steer clear of companies like Temu or Shein. I like to stick to my local brick and mortar businesses or I shop from online resellers on ebay, mercari, ect. I heard that the prices have dropped to at least 30%, I might pop in to see what they got.
