The way I see it, a voice actor *is* the character they play throughout most media until they retire from that character or pass away after which whoever takes up the role next becomes that character. When Wanye Allwine passed, Bret Iwan became Mickey. When Russi Taylor passed, Kaitlyn Robrock became Minnie. And though Enn Reitel is probably a great guy and an amazing voice actor, what he's doing is simply his impression of Alan being Scrooge instead of letting himself be that character like David has.

You know, after hearing Enn Reitel as Scrooge McDuck, I think he's a mix of Alan Young and David Tennant. He also made a great Scrooge's voice that I decided to call him Alan Young 2.0.😊

Thanks to Huey Dewey and Louie as well as webigail Vander quack and Mrs binkley her grandmother don't forget duckworth Donald duck and so many other wonderful people in his life. Need I mentioned Flint hard Glam gold who is not so wonderful? As well as Magicka dispel? Either way, Scrooge McDuck has had a lot of wonderful people in his life. That he would call family.
See this is why Saint canard and duckberg need to make an appearance in Kingdom hearts 4. I can imagine the saint canard world being a part of the world of duckburg. Wouldn't you? Like Disney town is a part of Disney Castle. Like a reverse world.
So far, Alan Young has not had a "permanent" replacement as Scrooge McDuck, each of his VAs after his death have only voiced him in 1 outside media. Who do you guys think will be his permanent VA, David Tennant (Ducktales reboot), John Kassir (Mickey Mouse 2013 series), Eric Bauza (Legend of the Three Caballeros) or Enn Reitel (KH3)?
I doubt it's David. He always felt like a "special stunt casting" for the Ducktales reboot and as a popular in-demand live-action actor he might not be able to commit to being Scrooge's official go-to voice.
@@SpedeVesku He did return for an appearance on the Rescue Rangers 2022 movie so the idea David could return for other projects as Scrooge isn't too far fetched. Heck, Disney has gotten their animated movie celebrities to return before so surely David Tennant isn't out of the question.
NO. DT17 already let a bunch of newbies upstage Donald. They need to be kept out of his other adventures or taking credit for other things he did. But I do hope they make Donald a more physical fighter.

But now watching Star wars the clone Wars and watching Star Wars Rebels, i realize that Ezra Bridger Is actually Todd the Fox, Anakin Skywalker is Copper the Hound Dog, Sabine Wren Is Vixey the vixen and even Scrooge McDuck or Ebenezer Scrooge is Amos Slade while Thrawn Is the bear. If they are made star wars Rebels season five set during the original Trilogy of star wars on Disney Plus, they should put the Battle between Ezra, Qi'ra, the formerly girlfriend of Han Solo, and Thrawn during the battle of Endor in return of Jedi similar the fight against the bear from Fox and Hound. I actually like the Heroes and their partners or their parents fight against the evil including Bambi and his father escape from Fire, Todd fight against the bear, Ezra and Qi'ra fight against Thrawn on Naboo while Anakin and Luke fight against Palpatine, Ariel and Eric fight against Ursula and Quasimodo and Esmeralda fight against Frollo
