Whoa number 57 is really cool! When KH3 came out a lot of people pointed out the similarity between the KH2FM cover art and The Final World, but I never noticed the similarities between the KH1 cover art and The World That Never Was, and the KH3 cover art and Shibuya.
That point about the box art is actually pretty crazy sometimes I feel like Nomura may actually have a lot of this planned out but acts like he doesn’t
Number 45: I have been trying to figure out how to get that chest for years and I never once thought to cast blizzard on the bubbles. Thank you for showing me this.
Big up from italy for you Jared for bringing back this kind of video and actually create basically the biggest sum-up video ever about KH secrets and details. Personally, i'd like to add three curiosities i've heard (i'm not 100% sure that they're true) and weren't brought up in this video: 1) about the Rikku one, the characters from FFX were probably included to promote further the game (published less then a year before KH1); Wakka from the same game wasn't originally included in KH, instead Irvine Kinneas from FFVIII (for the ones who don't know the series, He's Selphie's boyfriend) was supposed to live on the island; Rikku's exclusion probably led to Wakka's inclusion. 2) The "lion king" world was supposed to be present in KH1, but it was scrapped due to the fact that the system couldn't support a four-legs fighting character (in fact, the Simba summon doesn't actually "fight", he can only walk, jump and use the roar command which is a static charge move) 3) This is the one i'm less sure, but i've read somewhere (i'm sorry, i don't remember where) that Greg Weisman, the creator of Gargoyles, once stated that squaresoft actually called him to discuss a possible inclusion of the series in KH1; if it's true well i'm really sorry that it never went further because i'm a big fan of Gargoyles and i would really like a Gargoyles' world. Sorry if i made some errors, but english is not my mother language.
Fact number 73: In the Boneyard area of KH1's Halloween Town, a skeleton can be seen hanging from a tree and swaying slightly. When approached by Sora, the skeleton jerks away before returning to its normal position, staying completely still until you leave the area.
22:0922:53 (number 58 and kinda 61 as well) another thing is if you ring the bells again after getting "Paintings are great..." you'll get some more dialogue telling you that something interesting happens if you strike the clock in your room. Then if you go into the green room and strike the clock above one of the doors enough times (You will know if a hit is successful if the hand moves) to about 7o'clock, a sound should play and a chest will spawn in the room.

Number 57 : for the front over of kingdom hearts 3, did you ever realize that one side of the sky is red and one side of the sky is blue, possibly a reference to Yozora for the next Kingdom Hearts game?
Nomura wanting Toy Story in the series for so long, it makes sense he gave them such a cool moment in the story. Like when Woody stood up to Xehanort like a badass.
The front covers for the mainline kingdom hearts games are still mind blowing to this day! I really hope you’re right about shibuya in kh4 cynical! I really hope you are!
in khfm i found that when fighting the opposite armor, you can leave the area, and when you go into the accessory shop, pinnochio will literally be lying dead on the ground, and you can talk to him, then when you leave the shop, hes gone, i found that, and realized that NOBODYS FOUND THIS i thought that was extremely interesting... please read this, and take this into consideration and possibly try this, and maybe make this into a video, thanks, i really wanted to let you know that because im a huge fan
Number 34: I'm surprised you didn't also include that the reason his outfit is a mix is because at first they wanted both to be in KH1, but since they couldn't (I forgot why) they just merged Vincent with Cloud
green blood from the hydra is accurate to the Hercules movie, but the black smoke censor is accurate to Kingdom Hearts lore I'd say since the hydra works for Hades and Hades works for Maleficent and Maleficent works for the darkness, so that black smoke could be the darkness flowing through the hydra's veins
I really enjoyed this video in all of it’s interesting facts. The one I find the most interesting is the boxarts of 1,2, and 3 giving us sneak peaks to worlds we will visit in future Kingdom Hearts games. Another interesting theory is do summons predict future worlds as well? We got Simba and Mushu in KH1 then in KH2 we got Pride Lands and Land of Dragons, and the unused Woody and Buzz Summons predicted the Toy Box World in KH3, Nomura wanted what we all wanted as kids when we first played KH. I hope we eventually get a Jungle Book World, Treasure Planet, Pocahontas, Bugs Life, The Incredibles, Finding Nemo and Brave.
I wish 358/2 days had sections where we fought as Xion, carrying over our panel setup because as those of you who played the game learned Xion was essentially leeching power from Roxas so it would've made sense if there where sections where we played as Xion and she used our current panel setup, maybe a proper remake could include such sections
I find it funny that there's an A113 easter egg in Monstropolis, since Monster's Inc is the only Pixar film without the easter egg. Even animators who worked on the film say they don't remember it ever being added, and people are still trying to find it.
Woah! Woah! Woah!!! I have played KH 1 since it's original PS2 game and never knew about Number 45 in being able to freeze those bubbles! You are also telling me in number 48 I can go kick Seifer's butt outside the struggle match. Goodness I am learning a lot that I didn't know. Haha!
also didn't know Coded was made from Tetsuya Numorei getting drunk, forgive me if I misspelled his name, but since he was drunk when he came up with Coded, now it's just gonna be hilarious
In KH3 one of the Desserts on the menu at The Bistro is "Crepes Suzette" which is a reference to the Disney Afternoon series "Talespin" which is set in the fictional city of Cape Suzette.
The Kingdom Hearts series is absolutely phenomenal!! Also Jared, I know that you're trying to expand, I recommend Spongebob Squarepants BFBB Rehydrated and maybe even a quick playthrough.
Sqaull or Leon... from ff8 was the first to be in the game because both stories are VERY similar. Ultimicia was a Sorcery who controlled people through time. So she could gain power. Mr Noheart Was doing the same thing. Maybe do a video explaining the details and relation of time compression between both games you will be surprised how similar they are.
Number 72: Did you also know that in the opening of Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded, they actually used some of that old footage in the opening? At one point you can see Sora in The Great Maw ready to take the 1000 heartless on, but you can see Behemoths and the Wyvern's flying around. This is interesting as I do wonder where they got that footage from, was it from that E3 trailer?
In the video you said that the Chain of Memories command menu in KH2 is only in the white room (fact 32), however it's also used in the room with Sora's sleeping pod.
Please make Bahamut a summon one day. Also, End of the World is the best finale world out of all the KH games. Extremely mysterious, and depressing. God I love it.
Just a little nitpick, Kairi doesn’t directly translate to Sea. Though, the word itself sounds just like word for nautical mile and could be a reference to how Kairi traveled to Destiny Islands while also keeping with the water theme. On a similarly interesting note, Naminé is probably derived from nami meaning wave (which may be a reference of how she was born from Sora and Kairi) and ne which can mean “sound of”.
yeah Disney's rights to Tarzan weren't absolute, Edgar Rice Burroughs the creator of Tarzan still owned the rights fully, so Disney were only able to make 2 movies, a video game, and have Square Enix make a Kingdom Hearts level all before the contract ran out

I'm not saying it is or is not, just speculating in the event there is no official confirmation of his age.
Edit: According to KHwiki, Sora's Birthday is March 28 (granted not canonically so), so based on that if what I said was true, he would still be 15. An official statement could still clarify it.
#73: In Ventus's portion of Birth By Sleep, when Vanitas shows up in Ventus's room, you'll notice the books behind Vanitas say "Birth By Sleep", "Ultimania", and "Kingdomhearts" on the spines.
Drink every time he says “actually”
-In Kingdom Hearts II if you go Merlin's House there is a part where you can examine and say the next : 'There are books about the future'. Merlin has a book of prophecies?
-In Neverveland after see antisora, Sora don't have a Shadow!
It’s part of Merlin’s character in The Sword in the Stone that he can see the future. That’s probably what that book is referring to.
I’m happy you’re posting vids so frequently sometimes I like to click on them just to give it a like I hope you’re doing well mate keep at it!
Been watching your videos over the past few years and you are definitely one of the few youtubers I watch on a regular basis except when you stopped uploading for a while.Always have appreacite it you're work ethic and funny jokes and videos.Been enjoying you're content for so long and have made a positive impact on me.Thank you for being such a genuine soul and hope some day I can meet you
Another fun fact Demyx is the only Organization 13 member who you can write his name on a scientific calculator
Saw the Tweet. Now i'm here lol I think this is the earliest i've ever been! Keep up the great work, gonna enjoy the vid now!
Whoa number 57 is really cool! When KH3 came out a lot of people pointed out the similarity between the KH2FM cover art and The Final World, but I never noticed the similarities between the KH1 cover art and The World That Never Was, and the KH3 cover art and Shibuya.
I still find it a funny coincidence how kh1 came out 3 years after the original Tarzan in 1999. Such a strange coincidence...
That point about the box art is actually pretty crazy sometimes I feel like Nomura may actually have a lot of this planned out but acts like he doesn’t
10:19 That's really funny to think that Japan were the ones region locked out of content for a change.
Number 45: I have been trying to figure out how to get that chest for years and I never once thought to cast blizzard on the bubbles. Thank you for showing me this.
I do not envy the amount of research you had to put into making this video. What a legend.
Big up from italy for you Jared for bringing back this kind of video and actually create basically the biggest sum-up video ever about KH secrets and details.
Personally, i'd like to add three curiosities i've heard (i'm not 100% sure that they're true) and weren't brought up in this video:
1) about the Rikku one, the characters from FFX were probably included to promote further the game (published less then a year before KH1); Wakka from the same game wasn't originally included in KH, instead Irvine Kinneas from FFVIII (for the ones who don't know the series, He's Selphie's boyfriend) was supposed to live on the island; Rikku's exclusion probably led to Wakka's inclusion.
2) The "lion king" world was supposed to be present in KH1, but it was scrapped due to the fact that the system couldn't support a four-legs fighting character (in fact, the Simba summon doesn't actually "fight", he can only walk, jump and use the roar command which is a static charge move)
3) This is the one i'm less sure, but i've read somewhere (i'm sorry, i don't remember where) that Greg Weisman, the creator of Gargoyles, once stated that squaresoft actually called him to discuss a possible inclusion of the series in KH1; if it's true well i'm really sorry that it never went further because i'm a big fan of Gargoyles and i would really like a Gargoyles' world.
Sorry if i made some errors, but english is not my mother language.
I’ve been playing Kingdom hearts all my life and you told me so many things I did not know about it
the panties model being removed in Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD Final Mix is probably for the best
Fact number 73: In the Boneyard area of KH1's Halloween Town, a skeleton can be seen hanging from a tree and swaying slightly. When approached by Sora, the skeleton jerks away before returning to its normal position, staying completely still until you leave the area.
22:09 22:53 (number 58 and kinda 61 as well) another thing is if you ring the bells again after getting "Paintings are great..." you'll get some more dialogue telling you that something interesting happens if you strike the clock in your room. Then if you go into the green room and strike the clock above one of the doors enough times (You will know if a hit is successful if the hand moves) to about 7o'clock, a sound should play and a chest will spawn in the room.
Definitely do a video about the new chapter of Dark Road, there are some seriously interesting plot points that happen that connect it more with KHUX!
Number 66: How?? I dreamed of that place when i was younger! How did i know this place existed? I am so amazed right now! OMG! I never knew that place before yet it appeared in my dreams once??
You too???
@TheGamersJoint if you look at the mansion in kh2 you'll see alot of unicorn along the walls. I always thought that It was a reference to union cross or that the house was connected to it in some way
Take a shot every time he says “actually.”
Number 57… quite spot on.
Fact number 85: Nomura actually hates the number 13
That or he really like the numbers 7 and 13
Estaveler 32 nah he 100% hates 13 and he doesn’t like 7 too much but 13 is one of his most hated for sure
I love these videos haha I like finding out tidbits I didnt know and being surprised by how many I do know
Number 14, makes me think of the Mana series with Sora's concept art. This was an awesome video!👍
You are back better then ever, good to see!! Keep on m8!
Also surprised the marluxia originally being female fact wasn't here or even the movable huds for kh3
Movable huds?
@@RaxiumsYugiohAnimations movable portraits I meant

Number 57 : for the front over of kingdom hearts 3, did you ever realize that one side of the sky is red and one side of the sky is blue, possibly a reference to Yozora for the next Kingdom Hearts game?
Nomura wanting Toy Story in the series for so long, it makes sense he gave them such a cool moment in the story. Like when Woody stood up to Xehanort like a badass.
The front covers for the mainline kingdom hearts games are still mind blowing to this day! I really hope you’re right about shibuya in kh4 cynical! I really hope you are!
12:54 "BALD MOUNTAIN" is a very famous disney film called Night On Bald Mountain that features Chernabog, one of the final bosses from KH1.
Actually Night on Bald Mountain is the music piece the animation was set to. Same for all the animations in Fantasia.
@@Firestar1992 I was close, but I wasn't good enough. I will never get into Disney College now ._.
zeranzeran Nonsense. You can retake the entrance exam next year. Just make a note and study more. ;)
in khfm i found that when fighting the opposite armor, you can leave the area, and when you go into the accessory shop, pinnochio will literally be lying dead on the ground, and you can talk to him, then when you leave the shop, hes gone, i found that, and realized that NOBODYS FOUND THIS i thought that was extremely interesting... please read this, and take this into consideration and possibly try this, and maybe make this into a video, thanks, i really wanted to let you know that because im a huge fan
Super stoked your back brotha love the content
Number 34: I'm surprised you didn't also include that the reason his outfit is a mix is because at first they wanted both to be in KH1, but since they couldn't (I forgot why) they just merged Vincent with Cloud
green blood from the hydra is accurate to the Hercules movie, but the black smoke censor is accurate to Kingdom Hearts lore I'd say since the hydra works for Hades and Hades works for Maleficent and Maleficent works for the darkness, so that black smoke could be the darkness flowing through the hydra's veins
Possible 73rd detail: in DDD, in traverse town, areas that were previously accessible in kingdom hearts 1 are all blocked off by a wooden box
How often do u wanna say 'actually'?
That dude: *yes*
Kurt zisa is probably my all time favorite kh boss. And I have always loved the organization 13 with saix being my all time fav.
Back in the 90s, I was in a very famous TV show
Woah! Woah! Woah!!! I have played KH 1 since it's original PS2 game and never knew about Number 45 in being able to freeze those bubbles! You are also telling me in number 48 I can go kick Seifer's butt outside the struggle match. Goodness I am learning a lot that I didn't know. Haha!
Take a shot every time Cynical says the word Actually. You will ACTUALLY die.
Tried it with soda. I may have a ulcer now :/
The fact that Nomoura came up with the lore of KH while drunk makes so much sense. And makes it even more awesome!
He wrote the story of Recoded while drunk. Not the entire franchise as a whole lol.
Still, it’s pretty hilarious
also didn't know Coded was made from Tetsuya Numorei getting drunk, forgive me if I misspelled his name, but since he was drunk when he came up with Coded, now it's just gonna be hilarious
The Bald Mountain Painting references the Night on Bald Mountain scene in Fantasia.
Fact number 2 is actually a misquote. Nomura thought Disney would reject it but didn't actually present it to Disney
I swear I remembered kairi's panties in kh2 but now I got confirmation that it wasn't just a false memory
Very informative didn't most of the info you displayed, appreciate it.
Loving all the kh content so much dude your like a part of Disney itself I get so excited to watch :)
*Kingdom Hearts will always have my heart..!*
I made the Pikachu shocked face at that FF7 music tidbit in Ariel's Grotto....WTF :O
Impressive work Thegamersjoint.
You called the shibuya because the cover art! Good stuff man!
In the video you said that the Chain of Memories command menu in KH2 is only in the white room (fact 32), however it's also used in the room with Sora's sleeping pod.
Bro this stuff touches my soul 🙃❤️🙏 much love my man keep up the great work
Please make Bahamut a summon one day.
Also, End of the World is the best finale world out of all the KH games. Extremely mysterious, and depressing. God I love it.
You outdid yourself with this one Jared! 10/10
Jared really procrastinates when it comes to uplaoding the kh3 content we want lol
Learning stuff about my favorite game series of all time
You were right about the character standing in the place the next game takes place in
Just a little nitpick, Kairi doesn’t directly translate to Sea.
I love this kind of videos! Thank you Cynical, your the best
11:02 Cat doing the dreamworks face
yeah Disney's rights to Tarzan weren't absolute, Edgar Rice Burroughs the creator of Tarzan still owned the rights fully, so Disney were only able to make 2 movies, a video game, and have Square Enix make a Kingdom Hearts level all before the contract ran out
This thumbnail is gorgeous
I had already heard about most of those details before. But I didn't know about the "Who am I ?" soundtrack of Final Fantasy VII and oh my god... it's so dark !
