It's okay, you don't need to make it to championship week to get to Pasadena. All you need is for Alabama's struggles against Texas to be a precursor to them actually dropping multiple games (it's even okay if they only drop one in the first 12 as long as they lose to Georgia) and the Pac-12 and Big 12 to cannibalize themselves like they always do. Then the winner of the Big Game can be the 2-seed at 13-0 and the loser the 4-seed at 11-1, and you guys will get the Rose Bowl bid at 10-2.
