I use proxmox is better, xcp ng i have some probles as blue secreen
They have good and cons.
I use Proxmox and never use xcp-ng even once, I'm tingling to try it.
Proxmox is the simplest of all Hypervisor I've known, but all have weakness, and you have your own preferences. Some would not satisfied with Proxmox. But, for me, it just works, especially in a homelab. Even, with a i3 2nd gen Intel and 2GB DDR3, it would work.
Xcp-ng I believe had its own strength, maybe in a cluster and large scale scenario (Proxmox is great in it too, but I can't tell for sure, never tried). But, the drawback for me is you need "xen orchestrator" to make it work. I know, in this video, there is an application client to manage it, but still, you need your laptop to make it work. If I'm in hurry, it's just a No No.
If you're interested in xcp-ng, try Lawrence Systems, his company works with it. 😅 But I kinda don't like that guy, because he always bias toward xcp-ng and pfSense, in every video he made, even if the video title is "comparison"

As my little experience
Minimum requirement should at least
2GHz 4core CPU(also support visualisation techs) , 8GB ram (2 for XCP-ng as it shown it used at least 2GB at 7:25, 4GB for Visualised OS), Harddisk with at least 128GB (normally should be the minimum capacity of SSD on shock), 350W or 400W power supply, and a normal motherboard that can boot, support visualisation techs and your cpu socket.

@@zaidranger666 First off the digital voice is a computer - so it's fundamentally wrong when it says "I" will show.. it isn't a person. The voice is irritating in of itself and difficult to listen to.
