I know Sega fans are desperate for any kind of Sega hardware but I don't know how they were duped into even supporting this. Not only was the PCB a dead giveaway, but the actual CAD product renders were aesthetically horrific - that's without even including their dodgy history.
No one want this trash for the community but somehow it is very funny. I dont know it so bizarre and strange that it becomes funny. Of course its not very funny for those who have already been charged for the full amount. Its actually quite sad. :(
Btw cameras (like the red epic camera) run on FPGA, my guess is they are reconfiguring the scam 8k camera board as a “gaming” board. Basically using ewaste as a “console”

@@VideoGameEsoterica They could totally be thinking that, but Sega can't stop them from making an FPGA console, just to remove the name Sega from it. No reason their "project" can't continue without the name Sega in it.
I mean, we both know why it won't continue of course lol
Curtains roll. On stage we see a bed with a grey haired man snoring. The spotlight snaps on and blares into his eyes. He snorts and rouses from his slumber.
Tim Cook: "Zzz...ugh...huh...what? Oh yeah um...sorry, just woke up....Introducing the new iPhone Max Pro 16...i mean 17..18? Whatever here it is..."
Tim pulls it out from beneath the covers. Its covered in Cheeto dust from the night before.
"Sorry about that. Was snacking while watching Parks and Rec last night and musta passed out."
Tim wipes the dust off using his sheets. Smearing cheese powder across half the screen.
The screen is blank.
"Oh sorry, I forgot to plug it in last night. Anyway, $4000. Laters!"
Immediately falls back asleep as the whole stage spins round and the curtains fall.
Hahaha I’d buy that
I really wish people hadn't done that. How many red flags does one need before they decide against something?
Honestly apparently there is no amount high enough for some people
Shame it was a scam, but you definitely should video tape yourself driving a Lamborghini lower window and show your limited run D copy and your mister!
*drives up in a Lamborghini and lowers window
VGE: “heyeverybodyit’svideogameesotericahere!”
*shows limited run D copy and mister in hands and smiles at camera
🤣 now I’ve gotta make that at some point
Coleco Chameleon, Intellivision Amico and now this. What fun times we live in
It’s sad we have so many points of reference
Dude, Is this all you have to do now? Fake 3D print a case.... Some junk board and fake it? And it works? anyone know how many people got taken ? lol asking for a friend ;) But seriously this stunk from the get go... buyer beware eh.....
No real count on how many people ordered. They said 300 but obv they say a lot of things
bro the video game trap house is killing me! 🤣🤣
I’m just glad people got my sense of humor today 🤣
@@VideoGameEsoterica it was on point! the ending had me laughing too! :)
ROFL
the Lamborghini scene screams Daytrading with a company located in Cyprus for me xD
It’s a vibe. And not a good one
You got me cackling with Meg Uranus
Glad people are enjoying that
Nah this has to be real, just about anybody can make anything with fpga. My grandma is working on a xbox one fpga and she's basically got it perfect 💯💯
🚫🧢🙉
This is just disgusting.
Only two days ago, it was super funny. But I really underestimated how shameless do you have to be to be a scammer. Literal charging the full amount? No waiting, no nothing? The man must be really desperate.
That's just awful. We must let him know that he picked a wrong "uninformed" crowd to mess with.
The hilarious Lamborghini made my day this Sunday. How stupid do you have to be to think it gets you _anywhere_ these days?..
Desperate for a quick cash in
Didn't they say they weren't rich, or didn't have a lot of money? Hence asking for money in advance, etc.... Rolls up in a Lambo. Then the Lambo rolls away hahahahah. Christ almighty. It really is a parody, glad you've been spreading the word.
It’s hilarious parody. But it’s also real and that’s worse
I'm amazed that anyone thinks this is real. All the footage so far has so clearly been emulator footage and the PCB they show is so clearly a janky hub. I wish news sites would stop covering it as if it could possibly be real, it very clearly isn't.
It’s been debunked as a PCB for awhile but sadly not everyone sees videos talking about that
You called it!
Stevie Wonder could see this was a scam.😎
And nobody listens to me. So many “clickbait” comments
🤣
I need to know more about the white paint on the back of the TV. Let's go down the rabbit hole...
The world may never know
I would bet money that someone painted the wall without taking the TV off. I can almost guarantee that is what happened.
Haha who knows
Lowering that bar yet again, to never before seen levels of self-unawareness. Ya love to hate it.
It’s been a wild ride so far
You do the Lord's work. Thank you 😄
That’s what I’m here for :)
Every time I see people with big promises puts up an video with them in an lambo, it always reminds me of those fake guru scams
Tom Vu!
Now that guy in the white blazer can afford to buy a Lamborghini instead of just renting one😂
And lessons on how to drive a stick too!
Maybe Cancer Man, had to charge 400eu after the Lambo rolled fwd and put a scratch on the door. These clowns are so incompetent, and anybody who sent them even 3Eu must have rocks in their heads, and terror in their hearts, becaase you will never see anything from these jokers that will be close to what you might be hoping for. Even the 3D printed case is hopeless.
It went from a “weird but amusing” thing to a “wooooow” pretty quickly
Well I'm sold. Pre-ordering right now.
🤣
This makes the MARS project look legit in comparison. BTW one camera reviewer did get their camera, it was really bad and the box it came in looked like 10 people stomped on it
Yes I did see one person received a mess in a box haha
The wall being dirty in dudes video should have been warning enough for people to stay away from this. Hope they get their money back.
I know Sega fans are desperate for any kind of Sega hardware but I don't know how they were duped into even supporting this.
Not only was the PCB a dead giveaway, but the actual CAD product renders were aesthetically horrific - that's without even including their dodgy history.
holy crap! that lambo! 😂
such a reputable personality, obviously we all have to pay big bugs. because hey, he has a lambo … rofl
It’s so parody it’s funny except it’s also really not funny
No one want this trash for the community but somehow it is very funny. I dont know it so bizarre and strange that it becomes funny. Of course its not very funny for those who have already been charged for the full amount. Its actually quite sad. :(
Oh it’s absolutely funny. Until it’s not. But their videos? Comedy gold
@@VideoGameEsoterica man im lying on the ground can't stop laughing. Your comments make it even more funnier. Pure gold
This is an adult swim level of scam without the satire. I just hope the customers get compensation if they don’t deliver.
Sadly I don’t think they ever will
Btw cameras (like the red epic camera) run on FPGA, my guess is they are reconfiguring the scam 8k camera board as a “gaming” board.
Basically using ewaste as a “console”
Like the main developer guy is a delusional mentally ill “engineer” so I bet he’s sincere about reconfiguring the failed recorders and cameras fpgas for gaming but his business partner is a pure slipping jimmy con man
Like they must have heard of the analogue product and said… hey all these worthless cinemartin development prototypes used FPGA chips!
Btw red cameras use AMD Kintex FPGAs so if people want to make 20,000 dollar gaming consoles lol
I heard the camera was just a rehoused existing camera in a milled enclosure with a PL mount stuck on
🎵"Farewell and adieu to you, Spanish Ladies, Farewell and adieu to you, ladies of Spain"🎵
Sometimes I feel like the only way this can be counterattacked, would be for someone to actually start making a Dreamcast FPGA core, for real this time, on quarter or half as powerful board than the Mister.
It wouldn’t work on a less powerful board
@VideoGameEsoterica Apologies. I meant to say the word "more".
Quarter or half more powerful than the Mister.
@puertoricanguy999 ahh that makes more sense :)
Where can I pre-order the Mega Uranus?!!!
The alleys
This situation is just so bad, these guys can't even make their scam look believable. I hope that other Sega FPGA project based out of Brazil (Neptune I think) is real and gets off the ground
Neptune is def real
I actually didn't watch all their videos earlier so I just saw these for the first time, everything considered the entire situation is actually quite funny in a way. The dude probably now drives around his own Lamborghini in his underwear, blowing smoke at other people.
Super Scam Project seems to have done it's job...
I'm afraid this will put a very huge shit stain on the reputation and trust to any future FPGA-projects. Fucking hell...
Exactly. Thats why I keep making these. I don’t want FPGA gaming looking like a scammers haven
@@VideoGameEsoterica Yeah. Very reminded of DKOldies in that regard...
I hope we get out preorder soon since it's been charged.
🤷🏻♂️
This is so ridiculous that I keep thinking they're going to say it was all a joke next April fool's day and give everyone a refund. Also maybe they could spring for a yacht for the next video.
Next video def will have a monster truck
It's odd people pre-order such scams. If it was real then you lose nothing by waiting but time. A discount isn't worth peace of mind.
They played the FOMO angle hard
@@VideoGameEsotericaI didn't follow it as much as most because frist look I see looked fake. What videos I've have seen on it never marketed it as a limited run. I highly doubt they would stop selling after a single batch.
If there is a market for something people will make it (if they are able). I rather "miss" out on something then gamble with will this project actually release. The peace of mind is worth more than the headache of losing money, being stressed.
Wait, am I seeing a compact flash in this thing? Are those even made any more? This thing isn't just a scam (even if it's real, that whole pre-order situation is scammy), it's just bizarre.
Anyone who pre-ordered this thing, dispute the charge immediately.
It’s all odd from top to bottom
The Chewbacca defense makes more sense than the SuperSEGA
Chewbacca defense is air tight
You can't say you didn't warn them, they had so much warning from you and TE and just about everyone. They have proceeded from the fucking around stage and are now in phase 1 of finding out, phase 2 is when this doesn't ship and they don't get refunded.
Sad but true as that sounds like the overall arc of what is going to happen
“…a video game trap house.” 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Haha I underestimated how funny people would find that one sentence
I think it's absolutely disgusting that this insufferable conman is pushing his filthy antics into the retro gaming community. That being said, I have zero sympathy for the people that paid into a pre-order. The signs were there, the warnings were there, the dodgy videos were there, the unpopulated board was there, the legally grey name for the product was there, past history of fraud was there, deleting off comments on their videos was there, and Video Game Esoterica and others' pleas to not buy were there. I do not feel bad for those enablers at all.
Yes while I don’t want anyone to get taken and get a bad impression of FPGA gaming…also WHO paid for this thing?!
this is hilarious, he actually rented a lambo
It’s so funny it’s sad AND funny
