I think he completely changed the song, and not in a very good way especially in the chorus. I think the original bass line is one of the best parts of the song, and the way he does it sort of changes it for me...

I can really hear the voice of each member of the band. Remarkable. Absolutely love this style of music.
This is one of the funk translations that I feel works better, for me. Some have been a bit tenuous, but this one hit really well.
I guess that's also due to the writing......

This may well be my favorite cover so far. Abby's voice and choice of phrasing is smooth and jaw-dropping, the arrangement and playing is great as usual. Even the autounfocus is kind of cute under these conditions. (Now going to search for more of Abby Celso's. Thanks!)
