Not really. Lennon saw the incredible talent and ambition in Paul. But he wasn't in love with him or in envy. Well, perhaps he was jealous of Paul's ability to play multiple instruments very well, such as piano, and not just guitar and bass (Lennon was a good guitarist, but played very rudimentary piano). But Paul was more envious of Lennon's ability to come up with lyrics and his originality in writing songs.Paul wrote sweet pop love songs, while Lennon wrote pop love songs involving jealousy, anger, frustration, and sadness: "You've Got to Hide your Love Away", "You Can't do That", "No Reply", "Ticket To Ride". All of these songs flipped the script on the typical Pop love song back in the early/mid 1960's. I am not trying to take anything away from Macca. He is a once in a century phenomena. agree
Agree, 64 was their best year as a live act 👌🏼
1:11 that solo sounded beautiful.
paul genuinely sounds like he's at his peak vocally in this performance. this versions chorus is so good.
I love how into this John and George are, John is completely engaged and still can't help singing the ditched chorus 'ohhhh's off-mic lol, love the bit where George visibly reins his enthusiasm back to that cool demeanour too, the ultimate band firing on all cylinders, what's not to like? Beautifully filmed/framed too
Omg! Real musician back in the early 60s. My mom is a big fan of the beatles. Now understand why. Im a millenial btw.
😊❤
Im a millennial who is also a big fan of beatles.
ok
Beatles forever
Yes
3 guitars, drums THIS IS ROCK AND ROLL
Bts will never be as good as the beatles
What's their name? The Beats? Never heard of them.
@@headshotsongs9465 The Beatles, this is the original band
@@headshotsongs9465 This is a joke?
@@fodase1703 No. I live in an underground cave.
That Rickenbacker almost growling sound out of clean amps really drives this song and Paul is dead on,.well they all are in fact , they just played live for years and got so damn good!!!!
Eric Seymour I forgot how fantastic they were live.
Rock on Sir Paul. Your voice is incomparable.
Paul being his sweet energetic self! I’m super happy right now!
Ave maria como canta PAUL... bravissimo...!! 🇵🇪 👏🏼 🏴
Paul McCartney arguably had the best vocal range and was the best all-round in musical ability in The Beatles, but, in truth, none of it would have worked if any one of them had been taken out of the group; they all complimented each other so well, which is why they became the musical phenomenon they were - nothing like it, before or since. Plain and simple. Thanks for uploading.
Paul lived to perform! But each of these guys worked so hard to be there!
BEAUTIFUL SCIENCE.
BEYOND MAJIK.
I LOVE THESE GUYS 💕
I was at that concert incredible unbelievable undeniable. Some are very good . The Beatles were a force to be reckoned with
Você lembra de ver Cliff Richard e os The Shadows lá?
I love how much John loved this song! He's practically shouting it out!
John looking at Paul lol back when they loved each other 😂
Rory Laye They always loved each other.
They might not have liked each other for a time, but that sometimes happens in families.
Last interview John did he said he loved Paul, that families have their issues, but at the end of the day he would do anything for him and he said he believed Paul would too.
John loved Paul but not Billy.
@@Wayne_Schlagel 😁😁
@@Wayne_Schlagel Billy was a better songwriter anyway so Billy don't need no help.
ive loved the beatles since i was a kid, and watching this after watching modern performances of my generation, this is still raw asf
The greatest band ever existed on planet earth, and forever will!
Magic with guitars and a drum 🇬🇧🇬🇧😊
Love, love, love it. I was blessed to have seen them in concert once & I will NEVER forget it. I miss them so very much. Paul really rocked this song. Everyone in my family knows to buy me anything related to The Beatles when we draw names at Christmas.
I love watching Paul McCartney play the guitar left-handed! I'm a lefty also.
One hundred years from now, when the internet has been around for at least that long, people watching these videos will find it hard to comprehend that there was ever this kind of reaction to a rock and roll band.
Gosh, once I heard Paul's gorgeous vocals, I felt like I was hypnotized. I AM SO IN LOVE WITH HIM!! And plus, this songs is pretty fun to choreograph for a trio of backup dancers. :)
When people actually knew how to give a live performance. Great vocals
MusicalElitist1 Not really..
Instead of travis Scott forgetting to turn on autotune
Have you watched Taylor Swift's live performances? They're iconic!!!
@@Saliha_AliTaylor is no where near the Beatles level
@@CecoverDabest2019 Agreed!!!! She is nice though
Can't buy me love, love
Can't buy me love
I'll buy you a diamond ring my friend if it makes you feel alright
I'll get you anything my friend if it makes you feel alright
Cos I don't care too much for money, and money can't buy me love
I'll give you all I got to give if you say you'll love me too
I may not have a lot to give but what I got I'll give to you
I don't care too much for money, money can't buy me love
Can't buy me love, everybody tells me so
Can't buy me love, no no no, no
Say you don't need no diamond ring and I'll be satisfied
Tell me that you want the kind of thing that money just can't buy
I don't care too much for money, money can't buy me love
Owww…
This is why Paul is my favorite Beatle.
Paul died in 1966. Unfortunately.
I was in my freshman year in the University when this song was released, and now I am retired. How time flies, but the song is still good to listen and enjoy.
I liked this 59 years ago, I like this now as well.
Wow lovely Paul looks stunning . What a handsome man.love you to pieces Paul.❤️xxx 🤗
I believe this is as close to the energy as we are gonna get! Paul's vocals he is singing at the top of his lungs! they are so tight!!
Finally one where George’s amp is at proper volume
Good song I like to hear now 57 years later! And the message is true, love is something that money cannot buy.
かっこいい。This is best beatles live movie I've ever seen.
I remember watching this on TV age 6 in sheer wonderment
Absolutely brilliant! Back in the days (that are now so long ago) when a group could actually write, sing and play. But then again, that is all The Beatles did!
Yes there are, but not writing songs that are as individual and distinct as Lennon / McCartney wrote. One example is, who are they, and will they be known / remembered in 50 years time?
Abba also wrote and performed many of there own songs as did (does) U2; but they are not remembered like The Beatles are, who had and are still having a true impact on music.
