I usually cant make it through Beatles covers, but if anyone can do them justice is is Mario Jose. I cannot fathom the crazy talent that this man possesses.
just wanna say a massive thank you to Scary Pockets for keeping Mario's vocals as raw as possible. The dude can sing we all know. This however was one of the rare videos that didn't have Mario's voice really cleaned up. loved it. Something about the real raw vocals with all its flaws that draws the listener in deeper than a crisp digitally edited vocal track. Thank you Mario and co for an epic jivey sound with enough groove to strengthen anyone's neck muscles
I had never heard of Mario before, and this was my introduction. And while I don't know what the vocal chain is here, I think only a fool would do anything more to it than is on display here. This guy has something very special going on.

The usual bass player gets a LOT of love - as he should, dude is funky as a 3 1/2 dollar bill - but on this particular song I’m glad it was Stratton. He doesn’t have McLuvin’s chops but that’s fine because this song called for a subtle and soulful and jazzy groove and he definitely delivered. And Mario is possibly my favorite singer of all those they’ve featured so far.
One of their absolute best if you ask me.
