@ 6:51 - The detective is so close on this… In the “If I Did It” book. OJ says he stopped there, looked back & saw his bloody foot prints. That’s when he stripped down & put his bloody clothes, shoes, knife in a bundle. He also mentions having to reopen to the bloody bundle of clothes to get his keys & wallet.

Mr Kardashian's expression had little to nothing to do with the verdict itself. With him and Oj, it was more of a complicated personal matter. I mean, besides him having to regain his lawyer's license for this " trial of the century " in order to protect himself, Mr. Kardashian was still secretly hiding his contempt of O.J. banging Mrs Kardashian so hard one night that she needed to go to the hospital to seek medical attention . Never mind, OJ didn't want to take her himself, and he instructed Mr. Kardashian to do so.(cuck move) Shortly afterward, both O.J. and Mr Kardashian filed for divorce from their wives within 6 months, and their friendship ended.

Molecular biologist here. There are some mistakes in your script regarding some of the testing performed. First, PCR replicates small fragments of DNA, not whole cells. More importantly, red blood cells do not contain DNA, as they are highly specialized to integrate hemoglobin, which binds oxygen by incorporating iron into its structure. The DNA would have come from other cells in the blood that have nuclear DNA, such as white blood cells. The samples wouldn't be as rich with DNA as some might think. Samples out in the open will always be contaminated, but PCR is specific to the target sample, thus other sequences will be drowned out during PCR cycles while many target sequences (OJ's DNA, should it be there) remain. If every sample yields consistent data, its surely a open and shut case. If only the technicians showed more care in their aseptic technique, the evidence would be solid, but improper aseptic technique is definitely grounds to disqualify the results as accurate, but youd have to see the entire operation to conclude where the contamination came from and how it might have happened.

Think about it. There’s a lot of of misogynistic people in power who thought Nicole had it coming because it looked she was cheating.
O.J. Simpson is a reflection of a deeply problematic, misogynistic culture that needs to be addressed.

While watching the Netflix series, I kept wondering what the result would have been if he'd murdered his first wife, a black woman. Or if Goldman had been black. This trial is a pretty good example of how clever legal tactics can circumvent the evidence, and how a jury of your peers may not always be the way to go. If this was payback for Rodney King and LAPD violence, it's sad that a woman and a young man had to pay for it.

Okay, at first I thought it was just the jurors being idiotic and I made mistakes. They probably made the correct decision. Is he guilty? Most likely, the defense is right. Are they right in the sense of O.J Simpson being innocent? Most likely not. The evidence was contaminated, protocols weren't practiced, those that collected blood lied about collecting blood samples.
The gloves, people in the comments are saying. "Duh, it's because of the rubber gloves." -- there was a reason they wore them, it had blood and evidence on the gloves and they wanted to limit further contamination. I am not a specialist in any of this. However, I believe the jury made the correct ruling.
There were errors in the case. Everybody messed up. I feel sorry for her family, and I feel sorry for her dying. But now he has to answer. I don't know if there is a God, but if he didn't beg for mercy, he's doomed. God will be his judge now. It's not like he had an amazing life. He did armed robbery, went to prison for 8+ years, then got prostate cancer and now died. It's not like he lived in paradise free. Lets just hope this is a listen for every case from here on out so mistakes don't happen.

I've read many books on this topic, and still believe he was set up long before the event.
Blood Oath was a weird one, but interesting as a theory. The timeline matched F. Lee Bailey's timeline, but it was written first, before the completion of the trial. And Legacy Of Deception definitely intrigued me. Most books were pushing theories but the trial was about the science of DNA. Plus, the timing never fit.

OJ had a FULL life. Not many have lived a life like OJ. He had it all, but Lost it all. His life is one of the Most Fantastic Biographies.
OJ was a fantastic athlete and football player in his day. He rose to the top and had a life of Privilege and then sunk to the bottom. His life was actually the epitome of one of the most shameful lives ever lived.
The matter of who thought he was guilty and who didn't, came down to a tale of two people groups, with some individuals crossing over to the common belief of the other people group. The majority of blacks thought he didn't do it and celebrated his acquittal. The majority of whites thought he did do it and were shocked. And Even though OJ had financially transcended the majority of his community, (when he rose to affluence), his people group supported him over any evidence given. It says a lot about race relations today even. BUT...
Even though he got off? His life in the white community and the affluent circles was OVER. He was literally shunned and run out of Brentwood and had to leave the state, because everyone knew/believed he killed his wife. So, they black balled him from restaurants, dry cleaning, gyms, shops, the golf courses etc.--you name it, He could have stayed living in Los Angeles, but he had no place to enjoy his life and he began to go bankrupt. So, he sold his house and left.
The next owner of his house literally destroyed it with a wrecking ball ( one of the most beautiful Houses I've seen for it's style) because the community was disgusted by any sign of him and the shameful act of the person who owned the house (OJ).
The owner even got a deal since no one would even buy it until the price was dropped to nearly a fraction of its true worth. So OJ got screwed on the house, but had no choice but to leave, as he was run out of the area socially.
So, He rose to the Top and Fell to the Bottom. He got off on killing his wife. But he went to Prison for 9 Years ( that's a lot of your life), for something else. I think the guy got his Karma. I do. It started in this life and who knows what he'll have beyond it. But I just hope he admitted it to his kids and apologized for killing their Mother before he died. I really Do.

It really doesn't make any sense to kill her. He could've easily paid her off, and disappeared. He didn't have to lay a finger on Nicole, but he chose to stalk that woman! He said he didn't murder them and if that was the case, where's the murderer? All that money he spent on her when all he had to do was make her sign a pre-nup! But, his ego made him feel that he was invincible! Leaving Nicole alone would've guaranteed him a much better life! He would've lived longer because he would've been free to catch that prostrate cancer in its earliest stages. He would've had his football memorabilia, but having Nicole meant more! So, I understand why you wrote what you did! He found out the hard way that he didn't have as much money as he thought he did! So, only O.J knew why Nicole wound up dead! Instead of divorcing Nicole, he wound up in court enough times to wind up damned near broke! He lived in Vegas in relative comfort. He could've been a lot more comfortable if Goldman & Simpson lived.

OJ never looked somber or sad about the whole thing. Even though they were divorced, he supposedly loved Nicole and they had kids so if he wanted to Look innocent of the crime, at least act like he's sorry for the kids. But he was Smirking and nodding when the verdict was read. Like, "Yep! I did a pretty good job! Uh huh!"
That was pretty telling. Disturbing and telling.

The most amazing thing about Furman's presence in this case is how it introduces perhaps the worst optics the prosecution had going against them. If your eyes weren't already falling out of your head due to being flabbergasted about the forensics errors, you now have someone of questionable character collecting some of the key evidence that may have been involved. To top it off, the fool even pleads the 5th amendment when asked about it on the stand! (Note that the racism becomes practically irrelevant to compared to the part of the testimony where Furman is questioned about whether he had planted any evidence during the trial, which unfortunately didn't make it into this particular video.) Who does things like that but someone who has something to hide?

    • @wobby1268
      @wobby1268 8 месяцев назад

Again (and I feel like a broken record here): once the defense was allowed to ask Fuhrman about using the n-word, thus forcing him to plead the Fifth on that question, they had him. They could then ask him any leading question they wanted to, and he would be forced to plead the Fifth on all of them, because _that's what you have to do._ You cannot pick and choose; it's all or nothing. Cochran could have asked him, "Are you currently wearing a pink tutu and Groucho glasses, Detective Fuhrman?" and he would not have been able to legally answer.
