Watching these videos helps me relax a lot. In this video, the rainy weather, the views outside the window day and night, and the calm background noise were so good. I'll be coming to Japan in 2024 as a graduate student, and cannot wait to travel around the country. Thank you for sharing your experiences with the world. I look forward to more of your videos! Keep traveling!
Thank you Sourav Ghosh for commenting! I'm glad you did relax and enjoy the video. I also like raining sounds which are relaxing in videos. I hope you will fully enjoy traveling around Japan and my videos help you make travel plans!
Yes, if you can speak Japanese, are Japanese and can afford not to work 12 hour days and albeit this, still can afford not to live in a shoebox size home.
Thank you! That was very interesting! Those separate cubicles on board the bus were inspired by first class airplane seats (I don't think we have overnight sleeper buses (coaches) in my homeland, Russia - only overnight trains).
I can appreciate that kind of travel! It seems very private although you have others around you traveling and everyone keeps to themselves which make it seem like a safe way to get around. I would love to spend two or more days just traveling by bus or train in Japan. The cost is reasonable! Thank you for sharing and God bless!!!!!!!!
I used to really love traveling around on Greyhound buses because I love the bus rides when I was a kid. Not so much anymore They're not as nice as they used to be. Well at least here in America anyways.Thank you so much for showing us this really cool bus It's nice that there are still buses that actually do this.
Thank you for taking us along on your bus trip! The bus was a very pretty bus! It seemed comfortable. Did you ever get the WIFI to work? No entertainment means lots of sleep! I love watching your videos and want to know more about your beautiful country. Looking forward to the next one! ☮
This is really one of the best videos I've watched. The Scenery was breathtaking, and the bus was awesome. I wish the video was a lot longer lol. I'm going to subscribe to your channel.
Hello Sir I remember when me and my wife first visited Japan for a vacation we ride bus from Kansai Airport then our bus stop is in Tokoshima. I still remember it was in the middle of midnight trip and still cold outside I enjoy the ambience and the wonderful experience when I first saw Japan, and I hope in the near future together with my wife and kids we will return and visit Japan again 🗾. God bless you Travel geek keep up the good work I wish for your success and more subscribers to your channel God bless you always ❤🙏
Nice town. Love the old and modern building vibe. Guess why more take buses cause it’s a small town and it’s not that busy. Unlike Tokyo with the population and it’s rush hour makes more sense taking train avoiding all the jam.
Hi, Edster! Yes, that may be the reason. Japan Railways(JR lines) in the countryside is usually dead as it's really inconvenient. So like america, they use cars or buses more times than trains. It's completely opposite when it comes to busy cities like Osaka or Tokyo.

Thank you travelgeek for another fascinating travel video. I really enjoy your content, but I am shocked at the treatment of sandwiches, how can the crusts be cut off? they are the best part! although troubled by this I will continue to subscribe and give a massive thumbs up to your travel adventures, but please Japan give the crusts a chance!
7:28 Between the DVD, WiFi, and faucet it seems like nothing is working right in that bus. 10:07 You should have asked for his RUclips channel :D 13:51 Are those farm fields? What do they grow in Tokushima? 16:42 Elementary school kids. When I visited Kamakura, I noticed that when the elementary school children were walking home along the busy streets, shop staff would stand outside the shop and guided them while they walked home. I was really impressed at the sense of community shown by the Japanese. I think that is why Japan is one of the safest countries in the world. Thank you for another interesting trip to a less famous destination!
Hi, JohnBoy! Yes, some things on the bus were mulfunctioning but other than that, it was great quality. They are farm fields, especially rice fieids. You can see those kinds of farm almost everywhere in countrysides of Japan. Haha, the kids were adorable with the ransel, Japanese school bag. In most areas in Japan where there is a elementary school nearby, many adults voluntarily stand on streets and watch for kids so that they won't get involved in any traffic accidents or incidents. We believe this helps a lot to keep them safe😊
We have lots of overnight buses in England but none with beds and you have to sit up all night long so you might get 1 hours sleep.I wonder where the Jam Jam Liner was going?

You are so right! In America, there is no care for customer comfort. The object is to make as much money as possible. And you know that Americans are much too addicted to their cars. In any event, I love Travelgeek and his videos!
と思って英語字幕に切り替えたら、 a driver gets your shoes to the right place 運転手があなたの靴を【正しい場所に置く】と訳されていた。

Thanks for watching from Russia! There are a lot of overnight sleeper buses in Japan and it's a popular way to travel between Tokyo and other city.

Great trip. Bridge crossing in morning time is amazing. And the Tokushima vibe is suitable for everyone to release the fatigue
Yes, on the way to Shikoku Island was amazing including crossing the bridges😎

My Flora has the nicest looking bathroom. It does not feel like you are on a traveling bus 💮😲
Looks like the suspension bridge got bumped down to second largest when a new bridge in Turkey opened in march 2022.

Thanks!!
Ramen looks very delicious and less expensive than in the U.S.A. Must visit Japan sometime.

Hi, thanks for commenting from the states. This was filmed in June, Japan's rainy season

what do you do after you've arrived in your destination, like after your breakfast, what else did you do?
Love the video. Just out of curiosity. What would the price & time difference have been if you had made the same trip by ferry?
Tokyo to Tokushima by ferry would cost around $104 if you choose cheapest class. If you choose higher class, that would cost more like over $200
