- "They" are not telling us the truth about why Airships (Dirigibles / Zeppelins / Blimps) went out of style... or how convenient and graceful they were in the first place... Not many people are aware that Opa-Locka, FL (suburb of Miami) was on track to becoming America's #1 Sky-Port. Miami was once advertised as “America’s only combined air and sea world port".
Love the Cuban background music.
The Hindenburg was the official end to Zeppelin travel. It was completely orchestrated with highest quality cameras on hand for continuous programming.
As a child I seen footage of it repeatedly. Even at that age, something seemed odd about how it burned.
You had my wife dancing from one side of the house to the other
I hope "My Lunch Break" sees this one!! He'd prolly want to use a bit of your research here Doc.! 😎
Yes!!
I unsubbed his channel and restitutor orbis. They AI channels

@@hawaiiguykailua6928 oh yea? Elaborate further this is a big statement to make open ended, isn’t it?
Yes longo bongo- I love the airships! Si senor

DJ Dr Longo on the turn tables !! The legend continues !!

Let's race some airships to Antarctica and beyond! I wonder how fast one can be inflated and deflated?
@@oddevents8395four times fifty living men ....dropped down one by one
Are you rich enough to do that?
brand new to this, dont know it by heart yet, only made the connection looking up shoddy clock work 1600's, comets, longitude act 1714, Antartica 1820, pfft.@@MichaelVachon-us4ie
dont know it by heart yet, only made the connection because of Iron Maden and some 1984 'conspiracies'@@MichaelVachon-us4ie
dont know it by memory yet. only made the connection somewhat recently@@MichaelVachon-us4ie
Cuban food and Cuban dance music is simply the best! I have a large scale event that organize at Amelia Earhart Park every year, which is in Opa Locka (technically in the line of Hialeah and Opa Locka) She took her fateful journey from the airport that is adjacent to this large park. It's a really beautiful, no frills kind of park. It has a huge watersports area, dog park and lots of open spaces. it's a little hidden gem in the bustling area that surrounds it.

Super psyched.
I worked in Tampa in 2008/2009 and the main road through town was Dale Mabry Blvd...I asked who is this Dale Mabry ?
Nobody Knew, people who were born and raised in Tampa were not curious at all...Mindblowing...so I googled his name...
He was an Airship Pilot who's picture is at the 2:50 mark in this video...I rode the Goodyear Blimp in Columbus Ohio as a child in the early 70's.
and the Bud One Airship..Budweisers Blimp in the 90s would Dock at the Brewery near my house and then fly over the Ohio State Football Games...
I hear you can catch the jet stream and other winds to make airship travel much faster...Hindenberg Hoax ended a glorious Method of Travel and Hydrogen Fuel usage for nearly a century...
sorry so long...
❤this..
I love in Tampa. Born and raised fifth generation. I also had to Google who dale Mabry was a few years ago. Lol. I agree with you. The elites that control this world don’t want the rest of us to have address to this glorious method of travel. I wish we could bring it back as private business with the world governments having no say in it.
Crazy that you just posted this. I watched R K X Channel yesterday. About the sphinx in Gaza, but in one of the pictures had this giant zeppelin with no insignia in some random super old picture behind this sphinx
here in cali the good year blimp has been flying on occasion since my childhood in the 1970’s and i have always wanted to be a passenger 😊
I wonder if that is what is pictured in some of the old Renaissance paintings.????😮
Omg I was so busy clapping, tappin, hips flappin to the beat I forgot to pay attention!! But this does give me flashbacks to childhood when the blimps were common in the sky at every sporting game. I never got to ride in the Goodyear blimp aka zeppelin but it’s weird not seeing them anymore tbh.

They're still around . . .
"The venerable blimps of Goodyear are now joined by the newly built Spirit of America. The Eagle is based in California, Stars & Stripes in Florida and the Spirit of Goodyear in Akron. The four blimps shown are over Wingfoot Lake near Akron, Ohio, shortly after the christening of the Spirit of America."
@@oldworldflorida@oldworldflorida another topic. I mentioned sometime ago about The Whale in The Mediterranean Sea. Seafarers during Biblical Jonah's Time probably knew it; they may have called this certain Part of The Mediterranean Sea 'The Whale'.
This Part is from the Gibraltar Strait to Sicily. Picture the Old way whales were drawn. Usually looked like a rounded rectangle with a tail. This is how that part of The Mediterranean Sea looks. The whale's Tail at Gibraltar Strait and Head by Italy; Mouth is Between Carthage and Sicily; Sardinia island is a fish inside the Whale. Possibly where Jonah was washed up or something. I forgot exactly what happened to Jonah being washed up in a Dangerous place(Sardinia). Hope you know the old images of whales. Then you will see it.

This is the old way to draw Whales. It seemed odd to me why whales were drawn this way; it doesn't look like a Whale.
It does look like the Part of The Mediterranean Sea I mentioned. In this drawing the whale is facing the opposite direction though.

Can you please share the first song? Thank you for making me move!
Reminds me of the airships from EM Forster’s The Machine Stops
Love that tallahassee made it in there. I would like to see what you could dig up on Joachim Murat, who subsequently reigned as King of Naples from 1808 to 1815. Somehow he came to Tallahassee and died here. His cemetery is off limits and full of obelisks.
I do not have a photo to share but read the old Flagler Airport (where Lindy made an emergency landing) included a dirigible port and hanger. I always suspected the Treasury building in St Augustine could explain that bizarre roof top construction to dirigible docking....
Airships were used to lift heavy blocks and materials. That is one theory on how ancient structures were built
Growing up in the 60’s and 70’s here in Florida I remember seeing many, especially the Goodyear blimp. I believe there is one still at the small airport in Orlando, there used to be in there a few years back.
You see the Goodyear blimp here and there in Orlando still till this day!

They last about ten years and can go about 78 mph
I see it up in New Smyrna around the Daytona 500
I remember going to the Air and Sea show as a kid. My grandfather and his brothers owned a few lots in Opa-Locka -!; a dump, transmission and parts garage.
isnt it funny how the ppl who make tires for cars to drive advertise on something that doesnt need tires and makes cars irrelevant
Symbol of dominance / power / mockery
That was dope. Thanks for putting that together

Theres was a white blimp chillin in the sky of key west late July last summer.
I keep thinking of the Indiana Jones “no ticket” scene…
Cheech.......hey Led Zeppelin!!!!
I remember seeing those huge blimps in california when i was a little girl in the late 80's early 90's
I remember seeing the Good Year blimp a few times in the 70s, way up north in Montreal, QC - BONJOUR! 🙂 (Who was Good Year's competitor who joked about shooting down their blimp in tv commercials?)
There ain’t no talkin’. But I like the musica cubana amigos Bem legal🎉
Black Sunday Blimp 4:18 😂
Hidden History! Love it! I wonder how many lost past civilizations had dirigibles? I bet all of them did at some point.
well done thank you

Interior of Zeppelin (Hindenberg) Shows a world map on back of dining room wall with many inland seas that no longer exist. Very telling map...
This was amazing footage, thank you! Why do I feel like I have seen these in person before🧐I’ve never been to Florida. I’ve always lived in the PNW.
Genetic memories perhaps..I split my time between the two areas
awesome video.
what is the song in the beginning please?
Not many interior shots of those? Always wondered what the seating was like. Such a shame they canceled those out.
Edit: found it, just had to do a quick search. Incredible, had no idea they were so built out ruclips.net/video/tlnOFY0xRjY/видео.htmlsi=pHYZGoNMCUCH0yWu
Inshallah
Blimps were the old world controlled drones too
This has lead me to research these blimps. Thank you. I wonder what was the zeppelins flight speed? The airship airline companies? Distance of travel etc
It depends: if they could charge the blimp electrostatically, it wouldn't have nearly the drag and could be pushed along, as well as pulled along.
Airships would catch jet stream type winds and really move...
Easily cross the Atlantic Ocean.
@@theself5382 amazing. That’s why they want to bring them back.
If i could go to any place in the Caribbean id go to Cuba ...dollar would go a long way , im afraid that id never leave my hotel room and regret it later 😮
Sounds like Cuban music ❤
Florida music 😎
Low key, Longo you playing Palworld?
The Goodyear Blimp was a big deal in the 70’s. In those final images you can see the light array on the side which would display words and simple animations at night. It was featured at festivals and other events across the country.
Frank seiberling started good year and has ties to all the usual suspects like Firestone and ford so I’d bet most the airship tech was left over from the last reset
It’s literally telling you who destroyed airships and why in one word haha
I gotta dog named Zeppelin hes outa control a young gun fer sure
With this intro music i thought that air ship was going to be filled with arrows shot from the played instruments
What a different world it was ot too long ago

what is the song's name?
They're great if you don't paint them with thermite paint.
Pristine
So I didnt realize that the military were using them!So obviously they had to be weaponized as well!!
It’s amazing how skyscrapers in blimps go hand-in-hand. Yet we only see the buildings without meaning.
How amazing is it for blimps to service each building downtown zero traffic easy transport to everywhere
I like the opening with the alligators, Miami Vice cops, and bikini beotches better. My dirigible is in "Joe's Flying Phallus Garage" getting a tune up and oil change which is impacting my Uber and Lyft income, but must be done periodically for the safety of my passengers.
Some of the largest wooden structures in the universe were the "hurricane proof", not, blimp hangers at the site now occupied by "Miami" Metro Zoo. Twenty five blimps were housed there used for everything from patrol to torpedoing submarines.
20x youtubecrap UNSUBBED me from this channel
So can't help but wonder, given the rabbit hole my wife and I have been going down as of late.
Burning coal releases off-gassing of mercury. They claim our power grid is powered by the burning of coal to heat the water to produce steam, meaning for all intense and purposes, we're still in the steampunk era if that's true. However with recent exposure to the idea of toroidal inductors along with the knowledge that mercury is magnetic and can be used as a super conductor... It makes the mind ponder if steam from water is what is being used. And why would they let that byproduct of mercury go to waste? And then you have the famous Good Year blimp who is known for its logo... Conveniently featuring the foot of Hermes aka Mercury.
The plot thickens.
WTH?? That's it?? 😡
Feel free to show us more.
What.... Did you think this was gonna be on the worldwide use of the airships..? 🤔 channel is about Florida.... 😉. Im sure this is the extent of florida airship'ness.
Señor eres de a yoruba, ifa or sentirá. I know you touch that subject soon enough. I don't get why you play this music in this video.
